Stony Creek is one of the local businesses in the small town of Aquinnah. Family owned and operated gift shop. I perused through the various items that included wall decors for indoor or outside, pottery, collectible seashells, handmade American-Indian jewelry and also family-made Wampum jewelry. I originally thought "wampum" is an Indian tribe... I was corrected and the true meaning is that of beads of polished shells strung in strands, belts, or sashes and used by North American Indians as money, ceremonial pledges, and ornaments. They sold these as earrings and pendant forms with various stones and shells. I purchased a few stone animals... I'm not sure what kind of stone they are made of but they are between 1-1/2" to 2" in height and width. They are cute and I bought enough for each of my co-workers except I forgot to give it to them when I got back from vacay... in fact, I completely forgot about this purchase. I'm not sure now if I still want to give it to them and keep for myself LoL! The little turtles were popular... I picked up what's left. All the designs on the garments and jewelry are by locally artists and very unique as the shop owner explained. A very stylish lobster adorns many of the shirts for men and women. While the Menemsha store is dog friendly, we found quite a different vibe at the Oaks Bluff store. The store attendant was watching our every move and warned us when our small dog went too close to a piece of furniture (unfinished wood). We were going to buy more items, but then decided that the rude treatment was a turn off and will spend our money elsewhere.

The owner of the company Adam, inspected the Coating and agreed to redo the application for free extremely time effective schedule. I instead opted to replace the vehicle and Scotts and his very helpful team help me determine what kind of vehicle I could get to avoid this unfortunate manufacturers faults in the future and they replaced the entire coating with a new formula at no cost to me. These guys are great and I recommend them 100%.

Unmaintained bikes and slow service…read more It took 45 min to pick up 2 bikes and a trailer. The person helping us forgot to give us the second bike. Then, their bikes are unmaintained. The first bike had a broken gear shifter. The second bike they served us had a broken seat, to which they replaced the seat with a seat that had the cover cracked. Finally the trailer had a flat tire which we didn't discover until after we bikes a few miles. The guy also "cleaned" the trailer with a leaf blower. Kind of genius but not really the clean we were looking for. Also note the sign says "Martha's Vineyard bikes" so you may miss it if looking for Pedago

And Sioux Eagle herself was very accommodating, considering that her showroom is NOT WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE...but she was happy to have me pull my vehicle right up to the front of the building on her lawn, and to bring items out to me. It was easy to make an appointment with her to view items, and her showroom was actually quite easy to find, given that it's located in a residential area on one of the back roads of West Tisbury (no longer on Main Street in Vineyard Haven, sadly). In the case of one necklace and earring set I purchased, they were made custom for me: I had admired one of the necklaces she had on display, but I prefer yellow gold to silver around my neck...so she remade the necklace with yellow-gold-filled chain, as per my request! She worked quickly, and on impulse, made matching earrings, which she presented to me as well...of course I bought them, too! Sioux Eagle's jewelry isn't cheap in price, but it's also not cheap in quality, and it's handmade by her with high-calibre stones and findings. If you're looking for a gift for yourself or a loved one who loves unique, feminine jewelry, this is a great place to shop!

The installation was beautiful (Master Bedroom closet 9ft x 9ft) and they were very tidy. A few accessories were missing and they had to come back to install them at a later date. This didn't inconvenient us, but I simply wanted to make the point.
