This store has been here for years, and is basically geared towards tourists, specifically rich, slender, female ones. If that's you, great, enjoy! SCENT WARNING: This store offers a lot of scented items, and when we walked in, it stank to high heaven of some flowery grandma perfume that one of the employees had just stink-bombed the whole place with!! So, if you are scent-sensitive, you might want to skip this place. What would ever bring me back here? Honestly, the only time I ever go here is when my mother or a friend drags me. Otherwise, I avoid it like the plague. I know there are better deals to be had at other stores on the island, and while Menemsha (where this is actually located) doesn't have a lot of shopping options, unless you're desperate to shop, I can't really see the point. You would think when someone enters your store you would say "hello, how are you". NOTHING! No acknowledgement whatsoever. Very snooty. After I made my purchase, I said goodbye, again, NOTHING. All the designs on the garments and jewelry are by locally artists and very unique as the shop owner explained. A very stylish lobster adorns many of the shirts for men and women. While the Menemsha store is dog friendly, we found quite a different vibe at the Oaks Bluff store. The store attendant was watching our every move and warned us when our small dog went too close to a piece of furniture (unfinished wood). We were going to buy more items, but then decided that the rude treatment was a turn off and will spend our money elsewhere.

They agreed to mail my purchases to me but took two weeks to mail them! These were Christmas gifts that I had to remail and I bought them before thanksgiving in order to avoid delays. I had to call to find out why the gifts hadn't arrived. Unacceptable. If you don't want to offer mailing, then don't do it. Employee said I wouldn't be charged for shipping because of the delay, but I was charged anyway! Hope that $24 is worth a bad review!
