I am so lucky that I have her as my Neurologist and she has all my information. She knows all the migraine prevention stuff available so don't need to try different options which we have tried. Over the past years she has become a personal and tenacious advocate for my migraine treatments, trying to find a plan that works for me. The one semi-negative comment I'd offer is regarding her office staff. In-person they are all extremely supportive and helpful. However it is often that when calling or leaving VM or speaking with front desk I'm not always sure that my messages are actually getting through to Gwen. When having a migraine waiting 24 hours or more for a fast acting pain medication feels like an eternity. It's almost impossible to go to the ER with noise and fluorescent lights. Urgent Care is better but the wait is almost as bad. Much easier for her to call a prescription in. Unfortunately these medications are a form of opioids which most doctors her in NC simply will not prescribe. Dr. McCawley understands my situation since she has left been following my case for over 7 years and knows I'm not drug seeking or abusing. Gwen herself is a kind,

Dr. Daniels is clearly experienced and adept at diagnosis of and the protocols for Lyme, mold…read moretoxicity, Hashimoto's and associated illnesses. According to my experience, areas for improvement are patient education and user experience. Communication with FMSF practitioner/s can be clunky since there is a middle person to go through. I would also get frustrated with the redundant forms you are asked to fill out before every appointment. It made it even worse because it became clear to me over time the practitioners were not always reading them before our appointments. Patient education was not direct or concise enough for my liking. I informed Dr. Daniel's during our first meeting that patient education was a must for me in terms of Dr., patient fit. I never completely understood my own illness the 1 year + I was with Dr. Daniels, not for lack of trying to understand it. Lastly, I thought it was misleading that Scott, the FMSF accountant, who onboarded me to the clinic told me that treatment + supplements should be around $5,000 to get me better. I had spent double that and was feeling marginally better by the time I left the practice. The marginal improvement was partly due to my own personal choices to stay in my graduate program, which precluded me from adhering to lifestyle interventions, but knowing what I know now about mold and Lymes, $5,000 for treatment is not a realistic figure. I've learned now that on average people with Lyme spend about $75,000 out of pocket. When I asked Dr. Daniels about this she said they could not take responsibility for what her staff member said. I found this answer unsatisfactory. Dr. Daniels certainly has the ability to help people with complex illnesses get better, she helped a friend of mine recover, but I think you should know what you are getting into and/or know how to manage the process. Like another reviewer said on Dr. Daniel's San Francisco offices Yelp page, there's not a lot of hand holding or filling in the gaps. You really have to advocate for patient centered care, which is just an added burden when you're sick. In fact that's why I was paying them, to take some of that burden off of me. I do want to end on a positive note because I am grateful for the diagnosis and care I did receive from Dr. Daniel and Lisa. They did show me a bit of grace throughout the process, knowing I was a student with limited funds. Also, it's a huge plus that Dr. Daniels is a D.O. because she can provide prescription medication when necessary, as opposed to a naturopath who cannot. I did get out of my moldy house due to Dr. Daniels, which was a big first step.

Best Doctor Ever!!!…read more I have had the best care by Dr. Nadella. She is the first Doctor that actually listen to me. She gives a personal touch to her practice. She always gets back to me and is available to answer my questions. I am against the western medicine mindset to prescribe drugs to fix the symptoms but not actually address the illness.... and cure the problem, SHE actually recommend a holistic Doctor for me to go see! Can you believe that! She listen and prescribed what I believe in. She allowed me to do a natural approach first. We agreed if it did not give us the results were were looking for we would discuss other methods of treatment. Dr. Nadella, during my appointment gave me information to help me on my road to healing my body. I am not talking about handing me one or two pamphlets and rushing me out the door. She gave me information that she had researched on her own and had put together for her patients to use. She also asked me what had been working for me and what Websites that I go to for my information. She was gathering information from me to possibly help her other patients. I LOVE this! I recommend One Medical and Dr. Nadella. I always receive 5 star treatment. Yes, it cost a bit more; however, there service is definitely worth it!

But she is extremely unhelpful and has never offered any constructive solutions to my medical issues. When I ask her questions, she answers in the shortest way possible, but never elaborates on anything. It's like pulling teeth, getting information out of her! She is not interested in figuring out what the problem might be, and three times she has just basically left me sitting there, stunned by her coldness and extreme lack of helpfulness.
