So quick to respond to my plumbing emergency--one bathroom house . They sent a two-person crew and they were great, professional and reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend them and would definitely use them again. Thank you! read more

They quoted $450 for replacing an InSinkErator Badger 5 Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Standard Series 1/2 HP. Instead, I decided to send the technicians away, purchased the disposal from Amazon for $100, and completed the installation myself in 30 minutes. It only took this long because I needed to follow a YouTube tutorial to ensure everything was done correctly. This experience leads me to believe that the pricing here is significantly inflated. Essentially, they were asking for $350 for what amounted to about 20 minutes of labor. I hope that either karma or better business practices will eventually catch up with this company. read more

Truly appreciate knowing and now doing business with Papa's Plumbing & Rooter. Robert and Tony were able to take us from one of our worst nightmares to a resolved situation within 30 minutes of their arrival time. Something two different plumbing companies over 2 full days were not able to resolve. Papa's has state of the art equipment that takes the guessing game out of the process. They will put snakes with cameras and sensors in your pipe and pin point the exact location of the problem. Their crew is knowledgeable and polite and love what they do. As a result, you will only pay once and move on without having to worry about anything. read more

They showed up to fix a leakage under my sink. First, they said it was the main line and they needed to change it for $250-$275. Then they noticed it wasn't it. They ended up changing one of the dishwasher valves that was leaking. They charged the same amount of money for changing this valve $250. I thought the price was a bit high but wanted to believe they were being honest. So I trusted them. I feel like I got scammed! read more

I truly recommend Papa's plumbing for every kind of plumbing issue, big or small. I called them several times in the past and I am very satisfied. We had a problem once but I'm happy to say they promptly solved it and they even gave me a full refund which I don't know how many plumbing companies would have actually done it! They are a family based business and you can tell from their honesty and commitment. Again, very satisfied and will recommend to all my friends in need of a plumber to trust. read more

It is hard to find a plumber in Los Angeles and I got a card in the mail from Papas Plumbing. My water heater was not working properly so I decided to call Papa's and I  talked to Robert. He was such a nice guy, I told him about my problem and he gave me an immediate quote and that same day his guys came and changed my water heater to a tankless one. Like I  said it is hard to find honest and good plumbers in LA but papa's plumbing is the way to go! Highly recommended Siuuuuuuuuuu!!! Second time using them! read more

Papa's plumbing is probably the best plumbing service I've ever hired for my condo building. They were incredibly responsive, intelligent, and identified un-seen issues. Personally, I had them repipe my laundry room (they did a great job), but I also had them attend to annual maintenance on the building's drain lines (hydro-jetting), and flushing of our water heaters - and some major repiping work the building's drain lines and some corroded water lines. Though their costs were a bit higher then a few other bids I collected, I took stock in all of the 5 star reviews I found for them online -- and I am completely happy with my decision to do so. The work was performed IMPECCABLY well, and they really went above and beyond to deliver high quality restoration. I'm SUPER happy I went with them. Also -- Major kudos to the lead plumber Tony who went above and beyond my high expectations, delivered everything that was asked for -- and really was just an absolute pleasure to work with. If you're looking for an excellent plumber with whom to put your trust in... no need to look any further. You've found them. read more

Amazing company. Fast. Reliable. Reasonable. And above all, they are thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. Tony did a fairly large job for our office and it was complete ahead of schedule, and completed perfectly. read more

Papa's Plumbing is fantastic. Tony did everything we wanted and more--replaced our garbage disposal, fixed a leaking shower, caulked some gaps that were a concern, and took a look under the house to make sure there weren't any other leaks to worry about. Not only did Tony wear booties to cover his shoes, he laid out a tarp to protect the floor and even cleaned up after his work. Multiple other plumbers we've used have left a mess behind even when wearing foot protection, but not these guys. Very friendly service and will show you what they're doing to let you know you're getting what you paid for. read more

Excellent service!! The definition of great quality customer care. I had a deadline to pickup my son from school and needed help with my clogged toilet because of my 3 year old putting his toys in where they shouldn't be lol ‍ They rushed over and handled everything so fast I couldn't believe it! They knew I was under a timeline since I had to go pickup my son from school and still accommodated with short notice. Do yourself a favor and give them a try :) read more

With professionalism, on time , friendly, reliable , fair priced service. I'm glad no one else seems to have gone through what I had to with the owner of this company, Robert Carpio. My sewer was backing up into my bathroom & toilets. I contacted 2 plumbers who were unable to clear the line. They didn't charge me anything. The 2nd plumber recommended someone named Robert & gave me his number. When his guy showed up, he pulled out his tablet, scrolled down & told me to sign the contract. I did & asked for a copy of it. I was told he'd send it. He didn't. When the crew arrived they did the usual things trying to clear the line. The camera showed my line from the house was clear, but it would then go black. They hydro jetted & sewage backed up into my front yard. They did not clean up the mess. I again asked for a copy of the contract, same result. I cleaned up the mess. They dug a hole next to the sidewalk more than 10 feet deep. They covered the hole with my blue recycle bin without even asking if it was okay. I then told them that I was going to get a second opinion. Within 20 minutes his guy was at my door demanding that I pay the full amount of the contract I had signed. I said no. Half an hour later Robert Carpio showed up & demanded I pay the full amount even though they hadn't been able to do the job. He threatened to put a lien on my house. I still hadn't received a copy of the contract. To make this long story short, the next plumber took one look at what they'd done and said the situation was extremely dangerous since anyone walking by could fall in that hole. He covered it with plywood. Carpio finally settled for the smaller amount I offered since they had done some work. I'm 80 years old, and did not deserve to be threatened. It took some time before I finally received a copy of the contract. The work has been completed by an excellent contractor, and my blood pressure is back to normal. This is not Papa's Plumbing in La Canada. read more

Want to thank Robert for fixing the main sewer line. Got quotes from other plumbers but they didn't give as clear of a timeline for how long the work would take, and what was involved. Got it fixed and I'm happy with the work and how Robert conducts business! read more

I purchased a 1927 House in West LA that had original plumbing (90+ years old) so it obviously needed work. Panda Rooter did an incredible job both with the plumbing underneath the house and with the city sewer connection. The city sewer connection was a major job that required city permits, excavation, and many trips out to the house. Tony was the technician who oversaw the project and honestly he couldn't have been more of a professional and a great guy. I'm extremely happy with the process and end result. Panda Rooter is my go-to plumber now. Give them a call, talk to Angie (also a lovely person), and know you're in good hands. read more

Great company with very competitive prices. I had a hydrojet completed today for a large blockage. Tony came out, diagnosed the problem, completed the hydrojet, and checked all of my cleanouts with the cable cam, to discover that another one of my pipes is completely fractured. Which another plumber missed entirely during an inspection just a few months ago. He then went over all of my options and pricing. He was very thorough and professional. Panda Rooter is 100% my go-to plumbing company now. read more

Impeccable service and really amazing people. I live in an older apartment building. The drain to my shower doesn't have a proper cap so I use a basic rubber one. My engagement ring fell in the shower and the cap wasn't on properly so the ring fell into the shower drain. Spoke with Dory on the phone and she was so sweet and understanding. I wanted someone to come ASAP and she worked with me to make that happen. The plumber who came was Tony. He came with another man but I didn't catch his name. Tony was very respectful of my home and made sure to keep things clean. He vacuumed up all this gunk and tried to see the ring using a camera. He made several attempts. After over half an hour I knew that we weren't going to find the ring and Tony said it wasn't looking too good. But Tony kept trying and I really appreciated his effort. We ended up not finding the ring unfortunately. But Tony was so sweet and didn't charge for his service. I didn't deserve that so I just want to tell the world how amazing Tony is (and Dory too). I really appreciate their generosity, kindness and good will. Thank you so much for trying Tony. I truly appreciate you (sorry you had to see me ugly cry). You are truly a wonderful human and I wish you all the happiness and success and will recommend always Update: Dory called me after Tony left and told me that they want to try again to look for my ring. Tony came back later in the day and tried his best. Still no ring but I can't appreciate his effort more. Truly a good soul. I would definitely trust these people to do the right and fair thing and do a thorough job. I wanted to pay Tony for trying so hard but he wouldn't even take it after coming to my house twice and working so long. I just can't thank him enough. Use this company people! They are gems! read more

Finally got time to write up this review. A month ago, I found that main water pipe of my house was leaking. We planed to have a vacation soon and wanted to fix it before that. I called several plumbing companies for an on-the-site estimation. Miguel from Papa's Plumbing & Rooter came to my house first on the same day and gave me two options with quotes. After reviewed all the options I got, I decided to replace the main water pipe and choose Papa's Plumbing & Rooter who offered a very reasonable price (the second lowest quoted in the list) and the timing fitted our vacation plan very well. read more

I had 3 different companies give me a quote for a full house repipe but none were as thorough and knowledgeable than Robert and his team. There were a lot of issues from the previous owner and how he has work done and I didn't want to continue the trend. The other 2 companies didn't even bring up any of the issues and were going to continue applying bandaids to the existing bad work performed but Robert explained all the issues, and walked me through what must be done to ensure there won't be any need for service calls in the future.
