Prices were average but on the higher side of things. I ordered the Beef Lo Mein. The noodles and sauce were delicious but there was only about 3-5 pieces of meat. It was a bonus that the food was not oily like most places I have tried Shrimp Mei Fun was okay at best. The noodles were bland and there was sauce on the bottom. Not sure why it didn't absorb any of the sauce? Sweet and sour chicken was plenty of chicken and crispy. The sauce was on the side which was a plus so the food wasn't soggy. I ordered fried rice and got the smallest portion ever of fried rice. I'm used to having a huge portion of rice and not a small container worth Overall, food was decent but the portions were a negative.

The sushi had no real seafood in it, but there were seafood in individual selections. The shrimp was probably the best I've ever had for as far as I can remember so I was impressed. They said it was because the online service didn't notify them through phone, only through fax. Which means they should probably impliment a better system for online orders. I waited an additional 30 mins after I arrived to get my food. Bad experience overall. They do have a buffet, but this was strictly a take out order experience. The food tasted like standard Chinese food, good. But would not recommend their chicken wings listed under their appetizers.

Since it is the Christmas season, I feel compelled to give this place it's due…read more I've eaten at dozens of Chinese restaurants from coast to coast, and price vs quality, this place contends with the best of them. From their website, http://www.chinatownjefferson.com/ my wife and I ordered Beef Chow Mei Fun, Chicken Broccoli, and Sesame Chicken. The dishes were all good quality ingredients and the sauce was not too heavy. In addition, our mere 22$ order included free wantons and an egg roll. The egg roll was absolutely fantastic and is something I look forward to now purchasing again. The wantons are also some of the better ones i've had, they are very thin and oversized with a wonderful pastry flake. Thinner wantons like these though need to be eaten asap because they get soggy quickly. There really isn't anything negative I have to say about the place, the Sesame Chicken had less traditional flavor twist on it, almost like an Orange Chicken hybrid :p But it was still delicious. I definitely would recommend trying this place out.

When we walked in, a waitress and hostess where sitting at a table and cutting the tips off of a crate of fresh green beans (I took that as a good sign that the vegetables where fresh). I started with an egg role, a crab Rangoon and a cup of hot and sour soup and a cream cheese stuffed mushroom. The egg roll was good, with a crispy outside and flavorful inside. The crab Rangoon was very good. The mushroom was ok, but a little watery for my taste. I am a huge fan of hot and sour soup, but most restaurants leave me a little flat. The hot and sour soup here would rate with some of my favorites! My daughter also loved it and got two bowls. I then moved to the main courses. The fried rice was ok, but not great. My daughter liked the noodle. We both had a number of the chicken dishes and they were great. I had some port, seafood and vegetable dishes and everything was prepared well and tasty. We both went back for seconds. I finished off with some bandana pudding, which was obviously made from scratch. They had a number of items for desert including ice-cream. I would definitely go back the next time we are up in the dells area.
