I am a regular customer and eat at the Wichita and Derby Kansas Panda stores between 30 and 40 times a month. I have lost over 50lbs eating at Panda Express! Sure, there are issues now and then, but generally speaking, I love the food. 2 issues stand out CONSISTENTLY that need to be addressed: 1. Dirty tables! I know they get busy, but I regularly sit at a dirty table because there is nothing clean and just today, nobody came out to clean tables- even with no one ordering at the counter. When you see multiple tables turn over a couple of times without being cleaned, this is unacceptable. (This issue is mostly with the East Kellogg store) 2. Overcooked Teriyaki Chicken! Seems about a third of the time, this chicken is overcooked. When it's right, it's juicy and tender. When it's charred BLACK, dry and tough, I'm amazed that they actually still serve this. At that point, it should be thrown away! read more

They have a bad ROACH problem!! My husband and I got our food and was filling our drinks when a small roach came crawling out of the large lids. We skipped those and sat down our food had just been cooked so I thought it was safe. As we sat eating out crawled another larger roach from the tv, down the wall and table. We asked this guy walking around if he was the manager, said yes. So we told him about the roaches and he didnt even act like it was a big deal. He said "ok thank you" and walked away. It will be the last time we eat there. Sad because I like the food. But I can NOT do roaches!! It wasnt even late at night. Obviously a large population of them to come out during the day in more than one location and the managers response said a lot as well. read more

I just left this establishment very disappointed. I went through the drive thru and ordered 2 orders of cream cheese rangoon's. They told me it would be a wait. I said no problem. I have no issue waiting for fresh food! So I waited with a smile on face. The manager, Susie, handed me my food through the window and told me to have a good day. I parked to eat my food. I ate one looked funny but I'm hungry. Broke open the second one and IT WAS STILL FROZEN. Even after I waited for fresh food to be cooked I was still served frozen food by the manager. She told me her name was Susie when I went inside to get my money back. She was not wearing a name tag so I'm not sure on the spelling. I feel sick to my stomach. read more

Every time I go into this location the food looks old and dried out or there just isn't any even made. They require customers to wear masks but the majority of the employees in the place serving and cooking are not wearing masks. Stood there for 5 minutes, the only ones in the restaurant, one girl, was waiting on drive thru, 4 other employees standing behind the counter chit chatting about whatever. Ended up leaving without food and spent my money somewhere else. read more

A newer Panda Express in an area with some re-development happening. Looks like the area will be pretty convenient once the roadwork is complete. Food quality and service is A-OK. My expectations were met and I'd come back without hesitation. If you like Panda Express, you'll like this one too. read more

Out of teriyaki sauce two out three of my last visits. One time they even tried to sell me chicken teriyaki without teriyaki sauce! They asked me at the register if I wanted more soy sauce. Lol. I quit trying to go there. read more

Never had a bad eat at this place. Can't believe anyone would find this place pricey, it's very reasonable considering the large portion you get. Love the black pepper chicken, but my favorite is the plain teriyaki chicken. You get a big portion and the teriyaki sauce is hot and tasty. I've eaten at them all, but this is the best of the ones in Wichita. Convenient to get in/out onto Kellog. Recommend highly. read more

The service blew my mind. Austin was absolutely incredible. Extremely welcoming right when we walked in all the way till when we were leaving. I was blown away to see such high standards in a fast food place. The food was also spot on. Grade: A+ read more

Excellent, excellent fast Chinese food. Being brand new they do have long lines and sometimes the staff can get a little frazzled but still completely worth the wait. I'm so glad Wichita finally has the famous Orange Chicken! And definitely try the Kobari beef. read more

As far as fast food goes, this is the best. The menu does seem to be a bit hit and miss though, some the items are really good while others seem to be pretty terrible. It is also a bit pricey, but not too ridiculous. Considering the food is delivered at the same speed you would get at a burger joint, but with the quality of the food is at least triple that of a normal fast food restaurant, I would say it's well worth the money and is a great place to eat. read more

Very good food!!! Nice people! We are not from Kansas, we got there close to closing time but they were very kind and polite, specially the manager Kevin, he has a tender heart for people and kids!!! We've been blessed for being here tonight!!! read more

been a fan of panda for a long time now. i always get fried rice, orange chicken, and grilled teriyaki chicken. 10/10

I was promptly and courteous greeted upon arriving. The food was fresh and the location clean.

Well never have I heard of a Panda Express being completely out of food two hours before closing, but this location was completely "sold out" of Orange Chicken, & Chow Mein. Very disappointed. read more

Meh. It's chinese fast food, I don't understand why people crave Panda Express. Eating there a couple times tasted like I had just hit a chinese buffet for one trip. Nothing was really all that memorable or exciting or cheap, even. Meeeeeeeeeh. read more

Its not the best of all Chinese restaurants, but it is the best chain Panda Express location I've been to. The ones in CA are awful; but this one was well seasoned, well prepared, and reasonably portioned for the price (I mean tons of food if that helps). Military discount is a bonus. Drive thru takes a bit long, but eating inside is nice and very casual. Its well kept and clean. Wish I could transplant this one in my town. read more

Very hit or miss. Especially chow mein noodles. I've often been given crab Rangoon instead of spring rolls however the lady who works the drive thru makes up for the long wait time and dry noodles. She's so pleasant and so nice and always remembers my niece likes two sets of chopsticks. read more

Not excellent, but decent Chinese for fast food. A bit pricy per person but a decent value of you share a dinner plate. Spring rolls are passable, Rangoon is good. read more

Service was acceptable but not extra friendly by any stretch, food quality is what gets only one star. Because this is a cafeteria style serving line the foods not used frequently will sit until they are eaten which results in rubbery textures and cold food. NO THANKS, this place has had far too many chances to correct this continuing issue. read more

Nathalie was quick to get exactly what I ordered. I didn't have any wait time and the order was accurate. I got exactly what I ordered and the food was hot and delicious as always. Panda Express has become a routine in our office on a weekly basis. read more

It was one of my favorite (fast food) places to eat when I lived in San Diego. Nobody in Wichitard has orange chicken. I am so happy to have it again. read more

Cashier uninterested in customer. Purchased mushroom chicken with fried rice. Both need seasoning, rice still has a crunch. It will be a long time, if ever I return. Restaurant did appear to be clean. read more

We got there about 11:45. This was our 2nd time. our first experience was pretty good but I felt like the portions were small. They were low on everything. I was placing an order. They took the guy behind me before me. We are a family of 4. We each had a bowl. The tab came to over $30.00. The bowls were more than halfway filled with rice with very little protein or vegetables on top. One bowl the chicken was cold. I don't think so! We are never going back! read more

I first tried panda express in California. I loved the food, it was back when they started out and the food was really fresh and not so much commercialized or "fast". I tried the food at this new Panda Express and it is really really bad. I tried the orange chicken which was cold and bland. My husband had the honey walnut shrimp which was delicious but there were only about 6 shrimp in the meal. If you are wanting to try some fast food that tastes nothing like original chinese cuisine go here, but I suggest going to a local chinese restraunt for real delicious food that will fill you up for the same price! read more

This is a really crappy place. We went there during lunch time it was it's usual business. We stood in line for about 10 minutes while someone was giving their order but kept changing it. When we finally got up to give our order there were no fresh noodles or rice. Then when we asked for them to make more they said no can we take your order. So we walked out to find somewhere better, like burger king. read more

this is a clean panda express and the Beijing beef wuz DELISH!:-) it was busy so everything was hot n fresh..

It'd been about a year since I have been here, & I probably won't be returning anytime soon. Portions were small. Food wasn't very fresh & it was pretty bland. Not worth the price. Save your money & go elsewhere. read more

The rice was as hard as a rock, I'm not sure how they think that is acceptable to serve. Last time going to this location

I had a bowl of noodles and Kung Pao Chicken. Very greasy and It gave me food poisoning which took a couple of days to recover. I will never eat at a Panda Express again. read more

Completely disappointed. The Deli in Dillons has better food. I guess the hype is working but this is bad food.

I want to acknowledge Christmas eve night at this Panda Express, and hope you somehow recognize the great crew at this particular store with some sort of award of any kind to again acknowledge their personal sacrifice that night, that went above and beyond their duty. The only restaurant open that night was Burger King (which I cannot stand). It was 6:45 pm Christmas eve, and although the exterior lights to Panda Express were shut off, I did see your crew inside serving two people at the buffet line. Thought I would sneek in and see if they would wait on me too even though the sign on the door stated they were going to close at 7pm that night so the employees could spend Christmas with their family. Sure! Come on in, I was greeted by them. Well, car after car after car of people came in also to eat AFTER me within the next 15 to 20 minutes. I counted 18 people just while I was there and as I was leaving. Your wonderful employees took time out of their schedule, and worked later than they should have to accommodate hungry Christmas patrons. And all with a smile and kindness while they were feeding us. You have an outstanding crew there at that location. I am a regular and eat there often, not only because of the great food, but also because of the kindness of the employees there. You should be proud that you have such wonderful employees at that location that work hard to create an outstanding image for the Panda Express Restaurant chain. Please acknowledge them for their hard work! Thank you. read more

i had steamed vegetables yesterday and brought them home to eat....i ate them tonight and found a small curly wire in them...had i ingested this wire i could have been in big trouble...i called them to tell them about it and their answer was IF i had my receipt i could stop in this week and get a free 2 entree and a drink...i did not call to get free anything...i wont ever eat anything from there again...but they should have shown concern and said they would check and make sure no one else had a wire in their food...i would hate to hear of someone having surgery or because of ingesting wire.... read more
