Panda is in my top 3 fast food spots. But the brisket is not worth getting and also the up charge for 1.95 just save your money. It's a microwave tasting brisket! I asked if they had a sauce that goes with it and the lady looked at me like I asked for all the money in the drawer. This IS Mall Chinese. Fast American Mall Chinese at its finest. The OG of Fast American Chinese. And as long as you know exactly what Panda Express is - this place is perfect! This store is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. And for a Panda Express, they are on top of getting meals prepared fresh and out the door in 10 minutes. Anyone who knows PE understands they make fresh food constantly. Sometimes there's a small wait. 5 minutes to make something. My kids LOVE this stuff (and the little one "hates" Chinese food) We have regular items that I pick up. Depending if the entire family is eating or just 1-2 people, our orders vary. My kids like the kids meals w noodle/rice and Orange chicken. It comes w a drink & sliced fruit. It's a deal for $7.00 . I'd it's just myself and a kid. I get them the kids meal and get myself the build a plate w 2 entrees. It's $10. And is a lot of food. I usually get the super greens with pepper chicken and string beans chicken. Or will get the $9 bowl that comes w 1 entree and a side. I choose noodles and teriyaki chicken. My husband gets a the On family nights- I get the family meal. It's 2 large sides and 3 entrees. We get veggies and noodles. And then I order entree servings of orange chicken, honey chicken. and the beef entree. It's $35.00. Then I add an order a big plate. And get veggies, and 3 chicken entrees- chicken and mushrooms, spicy chicken, and black pepper chicken. And finally one kids bowl with white rice & grilled chicken. An order of cheese ragoons and chicken egg roll finish out the order. It feeds our family or 5 for at least THREE meals. Dinner. Then lunch the next day. And the kids dinner again the next day. With more than enough shared with our dogs. It's a lot of food, but for $60 I can't get take out Chinese for dinner for 5 anywhere else close to that. And everyone is so happy. My kids are absolutely thrilled. Some might think PE is not authentic- it's not. It's perfect for what it is. Fast Americanized Mall style Chinese. And for that- it is amazing and done well. Have eaten at the Lebanon Church Rd location several times recently and the food is very good. Sesame chicken, Lo mein with broccoli very satisfying. Loved the spring rolls...egg roll was ok. Would like to see them offer steamed dumplings on the menu. Service is very good. read more

Just not sure about this place. The parking lot is busy and they seem to have a steady stream of patrons ... appears clean inside as well. We got our food to go - nephew really wanted orange chicken... so he got the large plate and I got an egg roll. He like his food - I tasted the chicken and though meeeh. After COVID, dining room is finally open for dine-in seating. Been a looong time. Staff is still masked but otherwise seems back to normal. Food was freshest and tastiest its ever been on this visit. I ordered seared steak and shrimp and orange chicken with steamed rice and a large fountain drink. Total under 13 dollars. Reasonable for tasty goodness with some veggies thrown in. Heck, I've plopped down 11 bucks at burger and taco drive thru for some combos so this is sooo welcomed. A staff member even stopped by tables to ask how food was. Nice touch. CAUTION: The food you will receive does not match the big signs on the way in. When I complained to Calif Hq, they did not have the courtesy to reply. A privite owned business (man and wife) worth billions can not answer or give me a chit for a free lunch. I took photos of the food which I sent to Calif. No response. Never again. More. Ok...lots of issues at this location. 1. Lady that took my card for payment walked around with my card while I was waiting at the drive through for a few minutes. Does anybody like that? Just hold my card that has all my money and walk around out of view for a few minutes, that's great. 2. The wait. Nothing express here. Waited to order with no one in the drive through. After waiting for my card to be returned, waited 15 minutes outside (asked to pull around and wait more) with nobody behind me in line, that wasn't a good sign. Finally leaving now. I normally like this place to be honest, but if your are trying to do vegetarian or vegan this place is disappointing to be honest. No main dishes are available, no tofu or other protein substitutes. It's good for a quick meal if you're tired of burgers and tacos. My only criticisms are, I hate the way they rush you through your order by their attempt to guide it. And secondly, why do I feel always feel like I'm bothering them when I ask for sauces...the looks of frustration I get when I do is just crazy to me. I don't always have plum sauce on hand, sorry! I first went to Panda Express one night for dinner. I wanted something quick and semi-healthy. It was a little after 8pm on a weekday. After ordering, I drove to the window to pay where I was told that the SuperGreens I ordered would be a five-minute wait. Cool, no problem. The woman came back to ask me if I was okay with Chow Mein instead as a side because they stopped the kitchen at 8pm. I clarified with her that they indeed closed at 9pm which she confirmed. Wait, what??? I have lots of questions. You stop cooking an hour before you close? So if I pull up at 8:50, I'm getting food that's almost an hour old? I have more questions none of which will probably be answered, because this was my last time going to Panda Express. My first time going to Panda Express! I was heading back from some morning appts and decided to grab some fast food for lunch before heading back to work. I was driving down fast food row in West Mifflin and really not overly excited about anything in particular, there were the usuals: McDonalds, Taco Bell and some others, when I saw a sign for Panda Express. I was happy to eat an alternative from the taco, burger or fry options I thought I was going to eat. The location was big, clean and nicely designed. The food was presented like a larger, nicer version of the Asian places at mall food courts and Chipotle. I would go back as a nice change from the usual fast food burger grab. read more

This is the 3rd and the last time. We tried it when it 1st opened and it was pure chaos at that time and food was ok, 2nd time still just ok 3rd time still just ok. Much better out there. The big thing that makes me want to not come back is food it always on the cold or luke warm side. I dont even understand how that can happen and they still be open due to food safety regulations not to mention wgo know gow many people may have gotten sick. Its also not very clean.. concession area is a mess, restrooms are a mess and the glass on the door is disgusting. I decided to give Panda Express a try after driving past it multiple times. It's your typical Chinese food. The format reminds me exactly of what you would see in a mall food court. However, the food at Panda Express is definitely better quality than you would find in a mall. I decided to go with the big plate, where you get three entrees and one side. The portion sizes are big and the food is fresh. Fast service and friendly workers. The cream cheese rangoons were mediocre at best. I might be a little biased because I prefer crab rangoons, but the cream cheese ones were definitely bland and lacking in flavor. I would say that overall, I enjoyed my meal. The taste was what you would expect at a normal Chinese restaurant. Would I return? Yes. Would I go out of my way to return? Probably not. read more

Well so much for trying to help this place through the pandemic, won't be ordering again. Completely missing items, food was bland with no condiments such as soy sauce included. Called spoke with Erica and Manager Brittany whose response was "we cant see the food so we can't say what it's missing". 1. I ordered to entrees only received one 2. Kung Pao chicken in one plate had vegetables the other did not. Perhaps you start checking the orders before they are delivered. Good luck! read more

Customer service sucks here. Portions are small. The only reason Im giving them a 2 instead of a 1 is because the chow mein is a little better and the orange chicken isnt hard as a brick as often. The best part is the manager. I did not get her name on her name tag, but she had short hair almost bald and wears alot of makeup, when i was in there i asked if the the orange chicken was white meat to another worker and she walked by with a smerk on her face trying not to laugh, so kind right. I was so excited when this place opened in Century 3. Upon research, I seen they had bubble tea. Me and my daughter could NOT wait to go. We get there and it was just like a Chipotle set-up which was fine, so much looked so good it was hard to decide what to get so we got the three portion meal. The food was good, but there WAS NO BUBBLE TEA. It was just like a regular Americanized Asian food place. It was not too bad, but nothing special like we had hoped. We still have to travel really far into the city with terrible traffic and awful parking to get Asian food that is 4-5 stars. If you've had Panda Express when it was in your nearby mall, you'll notice that not much has changed with the food. For newbies, Panda Express is super fast Chinese food. All dishes are prepared in the back and displayed on a steam serving table for you to pick whatever you want. I found the food here to be enjoyable and very consistent with my past experiences with Panda Express. The service, however, could use some improvement. There were a lot of workers behind the counter and the ordering process was very unorganized. Despite this, I will probably be back for the orange chicken. read more

Not worth your time!! I was so excited for a Panda Express to finally come to Pittsburgh because I've always loved them when visiting other places... but now I'm just disappointed. This was my third time getting food from this location, the first two times weren't great. The food was okay but the service wasn't good. I thought I'd give them another try since they only opened a few months ago. I placed an online order and when I got there they told me that the chicken and string beans I wanted wasn't available. Okay, no problem, so I picked the broccoli beef. When I brought it back to my office for my lunch, I was disgusted! The broccoli was basically raw, barely even cooked. Some goes for the chow mien, the noodles were undercooked and the cabbage was essentially raw. There really is no excuse for such undercooked food! This Panda Express location opened this weekend. It took us until today, Sunday, to give it a try. Every one and their mother made the same choice. The drive thru line wrapped around the building. Unfortunately the way the property is designed you have to pretty much wait in the drive through line to reach the parking area which is in front of the building. AT&T had parking signs all over their parking lot stating only AT&T customers and employees could park there. We ended up parking in the extension lot of McDonald's parking lot. Once we were inside the line was all of the way back to the bathrooms. The line moved quickly and no one seemed to be upset about the wait. The kitchen was struggling hard to keep the rice filled. Our food was meh. The Beef and Broccoli tasted like it was all broccoli and no beef. There was beef but it didn't have any flavor. The teriyaki chicken was real chicken. They literally pull out a chicken breast that has a teriyaki glaze on it and slice it before putting it on your plate. They put teriyaki sauce over it. The peppered dish was not spicy but A LOT of pepper. The other beef dish was too spicy for me but the heat eater (my hubby) said that it was spicy but no flavor. Their veggies as a side is a great idea. They look fresh and taste fresh. The Honey Shrimp was a little crispy even though it was a little sticky. There is a $1.25 up charge for the shrimp but I thought it was worth it. The crab Rangoon was ok but not something I would order again. It was mostly cream cheese. The restaurant was clean and the employees were very kind even though they were swamped. The bathroom was clean as well. When we left the line was still all of the way to the back of the restaurant. People were definitely ready to eat here. I would go if someone wanted to but it wouldn't be my first choice for Chinese. read more
