Not sure what the difference is between lunch and dinner special besides the price increase. My husband and I shared a dish, we upgraded to the fried rice. There's not a stick of vegetable or even the faintest taste of meat in the fried rice. It's literally their white rice thrown in a wok. There was very little chicken in the dish, and despite it being "spicy "it has literally no spice I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness. If you're going to have fake flowers all over, at least dust them! It's a little concerning to sit eating a meal, looking at an inch thick dust on all of the plants. I'm hoping all the extra elbow grease goes into the kitchen

My cousins got Pad Thai, red curry chicken, and Pad sa ew. There was only one server but we were the only table. Everything came out in a timely manner. Every dish, except the wings, was too sweet. I didn't get to taste the pad se ew ( which is normally my go to at a Thai restaurant) because I ordered a lot for myself. The beef salad (yum neau) was tender but nothing phenomenal. I could probably cook it better. The pad Thai had a lot of sauce. The curry,my cousin got, was not the red curry she expected. I don't really like curry so I only tasted the sauce, I didn't like it but like I said I do not like curry. The pad se ew looked good and my cousins boyfriend said it was good. Normally I have a lot more to say about the dishes when I leave a review but I wasn't not impressed nor disgusted. I don't think I would go back.

I should have followed my instincts on this place. (Instinct: Fusion restaurants rarely get…read moreanything perfectly right - a jack of all trades is a master of none - as the saying goes). In this case, the Hot Stone Bibimbap with Crispy Tofu ($23) was inauthentic in so many ways. Way too many carrots and broccoli - none of which was pickled banchan style. The rice was overcooked white rice that didn't have any oil element in it to actually crisp up in the dolsot hot stone pot, and the crispy tofu was overfried. Basically a fake-it-till-you-make-it attempt at a bibimbap that happens to have a legit stone pot. But if the ingredients are a joke, it doesn't matter. I would never order this again. Don't be tempted if you are familiar with how this dish is supposed to be prepared.

Locals praise this restaurant as a fine dining establishment of Tiffin. Well.... I hope this isn't…read morethe only one as they are SOL if this is it. The space is amazing. Great building, decor and vibe. What killed the vibe was the patrons at the bar with the 4 year old going WWE on his drunk uncle like it was a backyard BBQ and the seating. Flimsy wooden stool like chairs or a straight high back booth. The most comfy spot in the room was the piano bench in the middle of the room. Apparently the restaurant was expecting a HUGE crowd for the eclipse. There wasn't one to Tiffin. Their limited menu and $35 dinner buffet went to waste. The buffet had been sitting out for hours. Dried out potatoes, pasta, ribeye slices that were now overcooked and chewy. We opted for the menu but momentarily were flustered that the limited menu also said cash only. Smh. Since the crowd wasn't a factor, the cash only was waived. Thankfully. (Then discovered they raised the prices on the limited menu for the event) Wasn't concerning but annoying since the event fell flat. I ordered the scallops and my husband the burger. Burger was fine, cooked to temp. Good pickles, great house made ketchup and duper fresh French fries. So good we ordered a second serving. My scallops were a joke. Three tiny 1" scallops under a coating of lobster cream sauce, and frozen chopped spinach all in a bed of overcooked white rice with some wild rice mixed in. Let's start top down. The lobster cream sauce was gritty and starting to separate. The chopped spinach was oddly bright green, unseasoned and should not have been on the plate. The scallops were fine but small. I could not eat the rest. It was awful. I ate the scallops and let her take the rest of the plate and order a side fries to supplement. I wish I had ordered the mushroom flatbread instead. Burger was good. I had a normal glass of white wine. Nothing notable. My husband ordered an old fashioned. It was good. He ordered a second and it was totally different than the first. To finish, we ordered a crème brûlée. It came out, not on a plate but just put on the table in the cup with two spoons laid on the table. Smh. Idk what was going on. They brought out a side of fries on a plate and even the side of mayo, earlier. It was just odd. The space is beautiful. The service is spotty. Food is a hard miss or home run, therefore good luck if you try it.

The nigiri fish to rice ratio is way off, too much rice while the fish cuts are inconsistent and ridiculously thin. The rolls, two of which were deep fried, were mid at best. Across the board, the rice was super under-seasoned and a bit undercooked. The clear soup is bland, just plain chicken stock with barely any actual flavor. Their Kani salad is very sesame oil-forward and not mixed together, so it was a bit unpleasant. If you're looking for sushi, just make the drive to Norwalk to Suki. This was not it.
