I have had to check my order in the drive through and had to get it fixed, guess I should have known better than that getting a delivery correct. Ok so first they need to learn some customer service skills because none of the employees have any! I walk in no one lions up and says hi, one moment, be right with you, NOTHING! I stood there for atleast 5 mins until someone asked what I would like! Secondly my food was burnt, they gave me rice and I asked for half and half, and they barely put any meat on my plate! I should have checked it before I left, but I really shouldn't have to do that! Everywhere else over in that area gets my orders right! Panda is too far from my home to be getting my order wrong!! It's asian fast food (junk food). Once you reconcile that, it's not too bad. The staff at this location is pretty horrifically slow at times. I have started avoiding if there is any kind of line. Yet another terrible experience at this panda location. I take full responsibility on how stupid I am to keep coming back to this location after countless disappointments. But I'd really hope by now management would've gotten this location under control. Sadly that was not the case when me and my family decided to go last night. I really don't understand why it is so hard for these employees to be professional. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, because they're clearly overworked and understaffed. However I feel that just being nice to your customers isn't some thing that takes a whole lot. Coming from someone that has worked both in the food and customer service industry I can say that being nice to customers is definitely a choice. Management really needs to step up and properly train these employees. Also every single time I go there always out of more than half of the entrées. I have to say that every Panda I go to anymore (for the past few years) has been a pretty big disappointment- even for fast food. Every city and every state- all the same. The quality has gone way down overall- the food is overly greasy, salty, and always seems to be sitting out for a long time (not as fresh as it used to be). It tastes a lot like next-day leftovers. My other main gripe is the portion sizes- one scoop (or spoonful)?! Seriously?? it's not even a regular portion size for a hungry person who works all day and wants to spend their money on something that feels worth it and satisfying. This isn't it anymore- it was at one time but it's been awhile. I rarely eat at Panda anymore and every time I do I'm always -always- dissatisfied. It's reserved for emergencies now, rather than a meal that I look forward to. I don't blame the staff- they're usually friendly and professional. It's the company itself that I blame. Arrived at this Panda express last night at 9:31 pm. The sign states that it does not close until 10:30 pm. My daughter whom was in Banner Ironwood hospital had not eaten in almost three days due to illness and finally decided that she wanted Teriyaki Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp from Panda. As a happy mom that she was wanting to finally eat and someone who has worked in the restaurant business, We searched for a Panda that was not closing at 9 or 10pm because it is annoying when customers show up minutes before closing. Upon searching, we found this Panda that did not close until 1030 and we made the trip to get my daughters food. When we arrived, there was no Teriyaki Chicken and no Honey Walnut Shrimp. We asked how long it would take and were rudely advised by the manager "BERNA" that they would not be cooking any for the lobby. I advised her that we would be taking ours to go and she stated that they are trying to save on food costs and that they had already turned off and cleaned the grill. I advised her that they did not close until 1030 and she said that she understood that but once again stated that they are saving on food. I told her that I would let her know just how many orders of chicken that we wanted and she still told us No. She said she was not refusing us service just not going to make what we wanted to order. Needless to say, my daughter did not get her panda and did not eat until this afternoon because that's all she wanted. When I asked her for the phone number to the manager, she gave me a number that nobody answered, no way to leave a voicemail. I called and spoke with another manager "ANGEL" and he was very accommodating and helpful in resolving this issue that did not need to happen in the first place. Berna is very rude and does not have the instincts of a good manager. If it were not for the good management skills of Angel, we would write Panda off completely! Just got gift card for $10. From corporate office my food cost $16+ but the $10 was supposed to make me change my rating. I am sorry but you could of sent me what I spent. This Panda is terrible. It is 9:15 and for the second time in a row around this time they are out of a food item. They are out of white rice for the night and the other night they were out of orange chicken. I asked if this was a common occurrence and the girl working said yes, they are working on closing for the night which is 10pm. I don't know if she didn't like me asking that question because she decided to ask me for my ID with my payment. I can't remember ever getting ID'd for a drive through order. I had to pull around to wait for my beef and broccoli which she said was going to be another 3 minutes. When I pulled into a parking spot I could see into the store that the majority of the staff looked like they were busier working on closing up than still serving people food. So they bought me a meal to make up for the last visit being terrible. I went there hoping the people had been properly coached, sadly this is not the case. They were out of teriyaki chicken again. I've worked in restaurants all my life. When you are going to run out of something, you make more preemptively. They told me it would be a 10 minute wait to get teriyaki chicken. It blows my mind that these people do this all day everyday and still can't get it right. The service was sub-par. As soon as I had paid for my food, the cashier turned away from me immediately to do something else. I had to go to the counter three times to ask for items that should have been given or offered to me. Usually the food is decent for what it is, but this time I felt jipped a little. It can get a bit pricey, especially when I add my favorite crab rangoons (aka wontons). Overall, I'm usually pleased with Panda Express, but this first (and possibly last) visit to this location left a somewhat bitter taste. Usually go to the one on Hunt Hwy but I was in WM so decided to go to this one. What a mistake!!! I ordered 1 bowl - terryaki chicken with chow mein and black UNsweetened tea. I got sweet tea because black tea only comes in sweet. So...I went back for a refund. Sorry - no refund but I can have soda. I don't drink soda. How about water? They were all out of water. Tap water? no problem. So I paid $2.00 for tap water. THEN, I get home and find out that I got white rice - which I hate - instead of chow mein. so.. I went back to this location hoping that my experience wouldn't be as bad as the prior one. Boy was I wrong. Upon paying for my meal in the drive thru, I was told that they were waiting on my chicken, and to pull around and park in the front, which was exactly the same thing that happened on my last visit. I thought surely, there's no way I can have a repeat of last time. Wrong again! After waiting for 30 minutes, with nobody coming out to bring my food, I ventured inside for what was surely going to be a fun visit to find where the hell my food was and what was going on. It was once inside, that I see my food just sitting in it's container which I'm assuming it had been for the last 30 minutes. The worker gives me the food, and I had to repeat (as apparently this was no big deal to them, you know, having someone wait outside for a half hour for food) what had happened, and I got a little coupon for my next visit. I had also been messaging the owner of this location on my yelp app, to give him a play by play as to what was happening in real time. Wouldn't you know, he never responded to any of it. From my last experience, he DM'd me to say he'd send me some gift cards, which, wouldn't you know, never arrived! Stopped by the drive thru around 8:20 pm (9/9/2021). I ordered 2 "bigger plates" with fried rice and double black pepper chicken. The lady working the drive thru says "We don't have black pepper chicken right now". I asked if they were completely out or if it was just going to take some time to make some fresh chicken.... She responds with "Oh no, we're not making anymore tonight, it's way too late for that". Mind you, they don't close for another hour! I say "Oh.... Alright, I suppose you can just cancel my order then...". Before I can even finish my sentence, she interrupts and says "yep! See ya!" I left thinking if that's REALLY how they treat their customers?! Then, I hop on Yelp, read a few reviews, and realize.... Yes, yes it is. This isn't the first time I've been told they aren't going to make something.... It has been the last several times! Food is fine and service inside is fine too. But it is the worse drive thru I have ever been in. There was only 3 cars in front of me and it took over a half hour to get through it. Even when I got to the box to place by order no one even talked to me for 6-7 minutes. Most places acknowledge you and if they are too busy they tell you they will be with you soon. This location always messes up my order or doesn't have the item I want. It's constantly a 15-20 minute wait for most of the items. Most of the time when I get home and go to eat my food. I have the wrong order or I didn't get what I asked for! Poor service. Hopefully this changes! read more
