An absolutely horrible experience. After ordering food we waited in line for what seemed like forever because there was no cashier in sight. Despite a manager being behind the counter, he provided the guests in line with no service - instead he sat on his cell phone while everyone's food became cold (or colder than the food there normally is) staff behind the counter just sat there and blankly looked at the 8 or so people waiting to pay and take their food. It was a completely disorganized and disappointing experience that is completely management's problem. I eventually got out of line, told the manager that he can cancel my order. There is a great Japanese restaurant across the street - go there instead. This place is a disaster. read more

It's a Panda Express and this location is always busy. They often run out of items and the line backs up waiting. When I went through the drive through I ordered the orange chicken bowl with fried rice; they were out of both. The chicken was only a 5 minute wait whereas the rice was 15 minutes so I opted for the lo-mein and had a brief wait in the parking lot. The restaurant is often messy but I think staff can be overwhelmed because people make huge messes here and don't tidy up. read more

First of all it only took 5 mins to get a worker to help me order my food and another 5 mins for me to pay for the food I ordered. Every worker there was running around if you seen a headless chicken cleaning not helping 3 families in line ! That's ridiculous!!! My food was cold from the worker opening the food and not reading what is on the box at first smh ... It's really BAD ! Then she had no gloves on like wtf you just came from cleaning the floor and come in kitchen and look at boxes in line that you haven't checked out at first and then had the nerve to open them and suddenly walk away to go ask your manager a question. Like most fast food restaurants in Nogales, this particular Panda Express location has to have some of the worse customer service ever, and I am NOT exaggerating. I think my order has been correct maybe once in the 50 times I have gone here. One might ask, why do you keep going here? Well it's small town and there's only one location available to us and even if there were several, I doubt any of them would have descent customer service. I stop by Panda a lot to pick up lunch for my coworkers. I can't tell you how many times my order has been incorrect. On top of that, the service is AWFUL. If you order any more than 3 meals, they will screw it up, guaranteed. I have ordered entrees with all fried rice as the side and they will put all chow mein instead, vise versa, etc, etc. They have literally just put random stuff on the plates I order that are not even close to what I ordered. While the receipt reads exactly what I ordered, they rarely serve it correctly. Who has time to check 3-8 plates of food in the busy drive-thru when there's a line of cars waiting behind you? I have ordered lunch, gotten to work and more than half the order is wrong. It has happened so many times that I am not even surprised by it anymore. And I lost count how many times I have had my order taken and when I get to the window after already having waited 10-15 mins, they ask me to pull to the front of the store and wait on my order as it's not ready. There goes another 15 minutes waiting for FAST FOOD. Today I made the mistake of placing my order through the mobile website thinking it would save me time. NOT! I got there 15 minutes after the time they said it would be ready (cause let's face it, they're never on time) when I got there, the girl running the register said "we don't have white rice." So I was like, okay well I only ordered white rice for 2 of the 8 meals. Long story short, none of the order was ready and they didn't start it until I got there. This place is a joke and if it wasn't for my coworkers wanting lunch from here, I would never go to this particular Panda not only because they can't get an order right for the life of anyone or work at a fast pace, but also because their customer service is horrible and several of their employees are extremely rude. Sad to say but it will always be this way as it's one of few "fast" food options in a small town and people will deal with the bad customer service because it's all that's available around here. This was my first time at this location and its safe to say I will never go back. They can't change the line inside or the drive thru line. However, when I ordered, the woman proceeded to fill my takeout container, wipe the counter with a dirty rag and close my takeout container with the same hand. Gross. Then they managed to include my fried rice on someone else's ticket. and then spent a bunch of time making up for it. How they could not refund him his money, I don't know. They gave him a bunch of free food and then turned around and did nothing for me despite time wasted and me being inconvenienced. I almost walked before getting my order because really- his time and money was worth four egg rolls and a small container of something else but mine wasn't even worth an apology for the mistake. I would have had to re-order too because the only person who noticed the mistake was me when they put my food on their tray. When I got home, my fried rice was under cooked and slightly crunchy. I won't be going back. I wasn't expecting five star quality and service but maybe decently cooked food and some service? Plus, considering how much styrofoam and plastic this place uses for in restaurant meals, I won't bother coming back based on that. Have we never heard of reuseable dishes and utensils?! read more

I have tried Panda a number of times when desperate and disappointment is all I have ever gotten. The 2 stars are because their cream cheese wontons are crab free so I can enjoy without fear of death. You are not serving chow mein so PLEASE stop calling it that. You are serving Lo Mein. If you dont know the difference please go check out a more real chinese food restaurant. Next, kill all the hot peppers cuz some of us want to use our tastebuds (and stomach lining) later. Broccoli is not a chinese vegetable! Instead of beef and blecholi why not go a more chinese route and offer beef and snow pea pods. And how about some mushrooms, water chestnuts, and/or mung bean sprouts in some of the dishes cuz these are chinese. read more

Business closes at 9. Drive thru until 10. So if you need to use the bathroom to wash your hands, go to McDonald's. Most of the food needs to be cooked, so you need to wait 20 minutes for your drive thru order. read more

My wife does not like these places. That said she treated me to a celebratory dinner there. The surprise is is that this location is super clean, the food is prepared at the right quantity to keep from having standing food for long, and the freshness is well maintained. Oddly enough, the service at this place was friendly and professional. They filled our order quickly without rushing us and offered sauces, etc. at the end. Corporate office would love them. If you are in Nogales, this is a must to go to. And my wife liked the place. Maybe we can go back soon!! read more

Wow, has this place gone downhill. Normally stop there 3 times a month. My last visit of several days ago - ordered our usual 2 entree of noodles, orange chicken and angus beef. Noodles were hard and absolutely inedible. The angus beef, which we both love, was so spiced up we couldn't eat it either. Wish we had not taken our order as a take-out, because I would have brought them right back to the counter. Oh, and the chicken egg roll was more than well done. I ate the two combo plate: beef and broccoli and orang chicken. I ended up with food poison for a week. I had other friends get food poison from this establishment. The Santa Cruz Health Department needs to look into this restaurant's food preparation. read more
