We do love the food though, it's always hot and I've never seen any empty spots on the lines. The sushi is really good and made anytime it's empty. We love this place though. The place is always clean and I personally love the decor. It's our number two spot for buffets. I'd recommend coming here, the prices aren't bad either.

They also have sushi and a noodle station where they will fry up your order. They have kids pizza too on buffet. If you ask for a military discount with ID they do provide one. Plenty of hand sanitizer on site to use . Cons: service very slow; took forever to get a refill of soda. Popular items can be empty a while. Cost a bit high and there is a charge for using a credit card. Very skimpy on napkins and some dishes are messy. Desserts can be better/more options. (Maybe add a chocolate fountain and strawberries?)

Despite a manager being behind the counter, he provided the guests in line with no service - instead he sat on his cell phone while everyone's food became cold (or colder than the food there normally is) staff behind the counter just sat there and blankly looked at the 8 or so people waiting to pay and take their food. It was a completely disorganized and disappointing experience that is completely management's problem. I eventually got out of line, told the manager that he can cancel my order. There is a great Japanese restaurant across the street - go there instead. This place is a disaster.

We informed our server, he apologized. there was no offer to remake or fix anything. after having maybe 2-3 bites of everything, we paid and left and went somewhere else to eat. I finally made it back here after three years. I wanted to see if there are any changes since my…read morelast visit. First, the restaurant section is now in a different dining area from the previous place. (The old location is where the hotel serves its buffet breakfasts) While I like the wall art, ambiance is not as charming as in the previous dining area. Second, the only lunch special now is a chicken-fried steak platter for $14.95. Today I ordered the minced garlic honey chicken since my very friendly server recommended it. It came out promptly. It's mostly fried chicken breast pieces smothered in sweet sauce. I also ordered water and it came with a slice of lemon. I love that! The meal definitely smelled of garlic, but what I mostly tasted was the overpowering sweet honey. Portions were big, but the meal was screaming for some vegetable side dish. I got white rice in a bowl, but no soup like the first time. I did get to serve myself to soft-serve ice cream afterward, but it was just ok. There is a private room off the main dining room for large parties. I left feeling stuffed. Excellent service, good food. I'll come back again and may even try the lunch special with chicken.

Well, all good things come to an end... But, don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad, it's just not…read moreas good as it was.... First of all, the hotel was bought out by Clarion, so it is now "Clarion Inn Sierra Vista". I thought the outside looked cleaned up a bit, but the inside was a bit rough. The food was totally different from what we experienced in 2024. First, I orded the exact same dish, the Sweet and Sour Pork. The pork wasn't "clean" as I described it last time. You know how sometimes the worst and cheapest cuts of meat are used? It's got all sorts of discoloring on it, the pieces are odd shaped like giblets or something? That's what I got. Previously, the pieces were like chopped... and lightly breaded. The sauce wasn't super sweet, and had a good even sweet vs sour to it. That was last time,... 2024. Now, the messy looking meat, heavy breading, super sugary sauce. And the rice.... the rice before had what I believe to be black sesame seeds sprinkled on top... and the flavor of the rice with those in it, was over the top delicious. Those little tiny black specs just turned bland white rice to a top notch dish. Well, again, that was then, this is now... just a bowl of bland white rice. So, to summarize. The s&s pork was... eh... the rice was... blah. I mean, I LOVED this restaurant before. Now it's just.... eh... Too bad. Oh, and just to note, the reason we hadn't been here in 2 years, we live out of town. This restaurant was literally part of our reasons for coming here on our "day trip" vacation. Disappointing.

I received the noodles, the meal was hot and deliciously seasoned and garnished. This visit I received Singapore style noodles, cold, overcooked, very dry, unseasoned, and instead of garnishing with peanuts it was garnished with cilantro. I tried adding soy sauce just to get the clumps of dry noodles to separate. The noodles broke apart when I took a forkful. The proper noodles at my last visit were long flat and could be twirled like spaghetti. They were cooked properly and seasoned well , nice soupy noodles. Yesterday's noodles were the wrong ones for Thai noodles and so dry That I had to sprinkle soy sauce on them to get them to be edible. NOTE TO DAVID, MANAGER, FIND OUT WHO THE CHEF WAS YESTERDAY AT 5 O'CLOCK, AND HAVE HIM TRAIN WITH THE CHEF WHO PREPARED MY FIRST MEAL OF THAI NOODLES. My meal yesterday was unacceptable. The wasn't busy and we put our order in as soon as we sat down. My husband ordered soup, fried rice and a couple appetizers. The soup came out when my Thai noodle dish came out, but the rest order never came out. Finally, we went up to the register and asked them to take it off the bill , we paid and left. During our time there, the waitress only came to take the order and deliver it. Never came back to see how everything was. Training of kitchen staff and wait staff need to be addressed. They are serving inconsistent meals with inconsistent service. If you could advise me of the name of the first chef, I will be sure to return when he is working. His cooking of both our mea was so delicious. It made me want to come back yesterday. Unfortunately I did not receive the same meal at all. After my husband paid the waitress she disappeared into the kitchen before he could ask for a to go box. So he had to grab a large beverage cup with a cover as she didn't come out of the kitchen while he was standing there waiting. As I said, I would really love to return when the chef who prepared my first Thai noodle meal is back in the kitchen. Let me know his name so when I I can be sure he's working. Compare the two dishes in my photos.
