What I'm not okay with is restaurants sending out food that they seemingly wouldn't serve to someone dining in because the customer isn't there to complain. I paid $8 for a large wonton soup that tasted like water. The wontons are supposed to contain chicken, pork, and shrimp, but all three of mine were literally just wonton noodles with no filling. If it had been one, I could understand it being a mistake--but all three? That felt intentional. The chicken egg roll was fine, but nothing special. I was really hoping to find a new Chinese spot, and based on the reviews I thought this would be a good one. Unfortunately, this experience made it seem like the quality and care just aren't the same when you order delivery instead of coming in person.

The food was all lukewarm, nothing was hot among what I tried. The lo mein was a bit bland as were several other dishes. Service was friendly and prompt at clearing away dishes as well as refilling glasses. Decor was interesting with large statues by the door and inside the enterance. Decent variety of options. Asian foods, soups, a few American foods (mozzarella sticks and garlic bread), salad area, small amount of sushi, and dessert selection. Chocolate mousse had mold on it so I won't be back. No one got sick as far as I'm aware and they enjoyed their food (though they don't go to many buffets).

The steak was better but…read moredeserves a better quality cut than the round steak that was served. 3/5 Double cooked pork: Flavor was good but the signature piece of the dish, the pork was overly processed and lacked the sliced pork belly look and texture one comes to expect when ordering the dish. The traditional vegetable used should be primarily cabbage but there were way too many veggie additions that added nothing and served only as filler. Lastly, it would have been better with black bean sauce. 3/5 Thai Basil Chicken: good flavor, tender chicken, once again the veggie medley was a hodgepodge stew and the broccoli was mushy with no bite. 4/5 Crab Rangoon. Solid app with generous portion of sweet and sour sauce I would have rated Sakura Asian Bistro a 3 if it weren't for the terribly inedible teriyaki chicken. No cook should serve a dish that bad and still be able to call themselves a cook.

Finally made it back here to try this out. The building is small and unimpressive outside, but inside there is plenty of room. Decor is minimalist and classy. Service was very good, and fast. As soon as I ordered I heard my food hit the wok. The menu is limited; I couldn't order my standard Mongolian beef (though I bet you could talk them into making it.) I got the chicken and beef teriyaki dinner combo. The entree was pretty good: good meat, lots of fresh veggies, in a standard teriyaki sauce. The fried rice was... fried rice. No veggies or anything. Still, a nice side. The egg roll was mediocre and small. Cash only. Pop is in bottles, but there is real silverware. All in all a decent lunch. Nothing special compared to a big city, but just fine when it's the only Chinese place in town, and the competition is Subway or pizza.
