My son requested Panda for dinner and I saw that the local high school had a fundraiser going on so we stopped by. Win/win. Ordered in the drive thru and made it home with hot fresh food. Everything looked great. Taste? That's another story. We got 3 orders of orange chicken. Each order was savory and salty and tasted like chicken soaked with soy sauce, not sweet tangy orange chicken. The rice was greasy and bland. I tried to call the location 5x. No answer. This is my 15 year old-eats like a horse- son's meal after he ate all he could. Come here and there's two entrees to choose from. The girl said there was enough of one and started to scrape the beef off to see if she could make a spoonful. My kids and my husbands sides are sitting getting cold while we wait for them to cook 3 different entrees. Not sure what they were all doing in the back room but they seemed put out and rude when we asked for our order which happened to be the ones they were out of. Today I came to visit the store and I had to use the rest room. I heard one of the workers say don't let him pressure you into giving him more food. The manager said nothing but he just stared at me the entire time I was in the store . Instead of reacting, I say nothing and use the restroom. Then she preceded to make we wait instead of letting someone else take my order. The I ordered my food and left. Is to much to ask some to put a little extra in there because they put the least amount possible in there and the prices go up. No I'm not wrong. I hope that young lady has a better day and God bless her. Glad I don't suffer from low self esteem but I know it will be ok. Ordered a Bigger Plate with 3 sides. 1 side was missing, and 1 side was the beef & broccoli that came with literally one piece of beef. Also, ordered the Honey Sesame Chicken Bowl with fried rice. We love Panda Express but this location appears to have some cost saving measures, which include portion sizes. We just paid nearly $50 for our family to eat and are going to have to give the kids snacks when we get home. They also were out of small cups, so they forced us to pay for a medium,but charged for a large. $.40 I don't really care about, but it sure was the topping on this sundae of bad service. Worst panda in the business. Literally constantly running out of food. I get it's a post Covid world but honestly guys, this is your business. If I could have given it no stars I would do it. Stopped to pick up food after a 12 hour shift at my patients house. I ordered 2 bowls of Honey Walnut Shrimp with Lo mein. Guess what I had when I got home? 1 bowl of sweet and sour chicken with Chow Mein and a large dinner with Sweet and Sour Chicken with Chow Mein. No shrimp which is what I paid for. I don't know why I tried again with any different expectations. Every time I order here it takes 30 min or more to get an order. I would just say COVID has a hard time getting employees, but there's just no common sense. This time I ordered online to make it faster only to discover I have to get it through the drive through where there's a terribly long line. I show up on time to pick up only to discover I have to wait on the ridiculously long line of 30+ min and they have your car trapped so you can't just cancel. My first experience here (lunchtime hours) was great, visited again today (for dinner) based off that and I am very disappointed. Everything went okay in the drive-thru, but i got home and opened my take out box (1/2 chow mein, 1/2 white rice, string bean chicken, broccoli beef) to find: overcooked rice, burnt tasting chow mein, and absolutely no string bean chicken. Update to my previous post. After being contacted by management I decided to give them another try. What a difference. The drive through staff was very friendly and helpful. The food order was correct and quite tasty. The only issue I have is that the drive through menu is not complete - presenting only a portion of the options. Hard to decide unless you already know what you want. read more
