Well, we went in and we stood in line for about 10 minutes. There were seven workers there, but only three were actually working. The person who was working the buffet never even looked at us because he was making online orders. We didn't get a "Sorry" or "I will be right with you" either. Didn't eat in today but work ordered out. It was decent but the take out box caused the shrimp and chicken to not be as crispy because of the condensation. They were still tasty. I finally got a couple bites with heat from the orange chicken. The egg roll was better this time. A little disappointed in the chow mein..it was a little dry, maybe a lot dry. I went threw the drive threw and it was pretty fast! Was not expecting that so bonus! The chicken was delicious vary moist and sweet but not over bearing. And the veg in the fried rice was vary fresh with a good crunch in the green onion! However the wontons were vary bitter and were awfully greasy, prob won't get those again. If you are looking for friendly workers and good food you must try Panda Express in Decatur, AL. My wife and I were traveling and got to our hotel late. Panda was still open (it was 8:30). I ordered my food (most of which was not available). These workers gladly suggested I wait 7 minutes and they would cook all my food fresh! Not often do you find employees at a fast food restaurant willing to do that! I was extremely impressed. My wife and I received hot, fresh, delicious food from awesome employees only minutes before close with no complaints. I felt welcomed and not like an inconvenience. I ordered from this place last night through door dash and when I did I was missing two items and I ate little was exhausted put it up. I got up and wanted to eat some left overs, heated it up and started eating the fried rice and started to choke and finally coughed up what I was choking on. It was a small green thorny substance. As I dug through my food I found two more. I tried contacting them but no one answers and played like heck to try an email them. I am waiting to hear back if not I will consult a lawyer as this was unsafe in my food. I have pictures and the green thorny substances I will attach photo. The employees at this location are some of the rudest people I've ever encountered. Last night placed a carry out order via phone around 7:45p. When the employee the boy on the phone informed me that they were closing at 8p for NYE I told him we would order somewhere else (I understand that they were closing for the holiday. That's cool.). The kid told me that if I would "get up there" that I could order. The whole ordering process was like pulling teeth. My husband went to pick up the order, and was greeted with the same level of rudeness. He arrived home only to discover that they didn't include the 3 egg rolls we ordered, and our food was cold (we live less than five minutes from the restaurant). This Panda Express location is about 2 weeks old at the time of writing this review. The restaurant was fairly busy and we had to stand in line for 15 minutes before placing our order. After that, the service was quick and pleasant. There are three basic choices you have on plate size: one entree and one side, two entrees and one side, or three entrees and one side. If you're stuck between two side dishes, you can order it half one side and half the other side. I chose the two entree and one side dish "Plate". My entrees were the orange chicken and beef with broccoli. My side was half fried rice and half lo mein. Both entrees were good, not necessarily worth writing home about but good for the price. The lo mein was good; it had structure and the noodles weren't overdone or slimy. The fried rice lacked all flavor and was a complete disappointment. (Ha, maybe they should try using MSG!) I had the chicken egg roll as well and it was satisfying; the sauce it came with just didn't appeal to me (a form of sweet and sour sauce). Overall I'd say it was a pleasant experience and is a good place to go if you're tired of the whole burgers-and-fried routine. read more

Just went to panda Express in Decatur went through drive through and the girl offered for us to try the special and then said can you hang on a minute and then repeated it again we gave her our order got to the window and a different girl said what did you order my husband said you tell me and she said I dont know I didn't take your order and he said who did and she said oh that was the girl cleaning and that's when we said we wanted a refund because if she is cleaning and fixing our food we dont want it. We went on August 24th at 9 p.m. and then August 26th at 6 p.m. both times there was hardly no food , and what food they did have looked dried and I wouldn't want to eat it .they didn't want to make any chowmein there were no egg rolls no rangoon's. Management needs to step up, maybe look at cameras from their night crew a couple of hours before closing.
