Music not super loud. Great! I wish Panda Express was a public company as I would buy its stock. Eight bucks for a bowl and it is mostly rice. The cost of the chicken is about 10 cents. Total food coat about 20 cents. I try and get value by drinking lots of the delicious tea. read more

First trip ever to any Panda Express Friday 610pm Ten minutes in drive thru behind two cars, just waiting to order. Maybe half a dozen people inside dining. When it was my turn to order I just wanted fried rice and grilled chicken teriyaki. That's it. They then told me they have no fried rice and chicken teriyaki will be about a 20 minute wait. No thanks. Empire express is just across the way. In and out in less than ten minutes and it's cooked to order. read more

The staff were cheerful and friendly, and appeared to enjoy and take pride in their work. It is so rare to walk into a chain restaurant and immediately feel like everyone is so glad you came. The restaurant was immaculately clean, including the employees (I was a line cook once upon a time) & it takes work and pride to for kitchen staff to look that sharp after working for a few hours. It was a very pleasant experience. The food was good, you can find better but probably not for under $10. But the staff is amazing and makes a ordinary meal into a really great meal! NEVER COME TO THIS PANDA. The staff is extremely rude and TERRIBLE. They always try closing early for no reason and do not abide by the hours they have placed on the door. Their food is mediocre at best and extremely overpriced. Their sizing is way off but mainly they need to fire all of their staff and start over completely. read more

This place never has anything ready and always makes you wait minimum 25 minutes after they tell you it will only be 5 minutes. They're worker willy is also very rude and disrespectful. read more

Customer service was good and the restaurant was very clean. But the food was very disappointing. I have been eager to try a Panda Express because of all The wonderful reviews. The orange chicken was very disappointing not very warm and tasted like it been sitting for a while and the chow mein had no flavor and was extremely dry. I don't know if I will try another location or not after this. read more

I had the sweetfire orange chicken with fried rice. It was ok. Not horrible, not the best ever. It's only $6.10 for the bowl, so reasonable for what you get. My son got the honey walnut shrimp with chow mein. He said the noodles had no taste but the shrimp was good. You do pay $1.25 more. He also had a chicken egg roll and said it was good. The young lady that helped us was super friendly. She made sure we knew we could have a sample of anything before we got it, that part is awesome! I don't see Panda Express surviving in Columbus. We visited when the business was new, and everything was great. However, things have gone downhill since then. We have tried several times, and every time, the service is horrible. As others have stated, you wait in the drive thru line forever. There is always a wait. I'm sure they have to wait to cook the food you order, because their business has dropped significantly. The most recent experience the walnut shrimp had no walnuts. I asked for fresh (not burned) rangoons. They were dark brown and cold. The last visit was 20 minutes in the drive thru and the meal was less than adequate. Why oh why do we come back - we keep hoping they will get a clue!! read more

The food is good when they make it. I've been told three times now that they were out of certain items, and they won't be making any more (AT 7pm!!). One time is acceptable, but not three. I've never been told McDonald's won't be serving any more burgers because there 2 hours from closing. read more

Service is slow. They need to hire more help. 1 person trying to work the counter and drive-thru with 2 cooking isn't enough especially when it's noon on a Saturday. This is the third time that I have walked into this restaurant with 4 to 5 items not even made. The food under the heat lamps were dry as a bone. I asked the lady I said you don't have much here she said no. And said what would you like, I said well this is my third time here and you still have nothing ready from the last two times I was here in the past so I guess I won't be coming back and she said well you have a good night thanks for stopping. I don't foresee this restaurant surviving in Columbus very long there's a lot of other places for Chinese food or take out food. Empire Express right across the street from panda Palace service fresh made food to order and to go at a much cheaper price. I would not recommend panda Palace in Columbus Nebraska. I have eaten at other panda Palace is throughout the United States and it is much better. This is one restaurant in Columbus you will never see me at again and I recommend to anyone else not to stop at this establishment. I received some of the worst customer service I've yet to experience. Sam did not greet me at the drive through window and after taking my order asked if I would pull ahead as my order (orange chicken) wouldn't be ready for 2 minutes and she'd bring it right out to me. After 9 minutes of sitting in the car with my daughter, I went back into the restaurant and Sam was dishing up my food at the buffet. She didn't greet me. She didn't smile. I commented that it been nine minutes. She instantly argued with me and said that it's only been 3 1/2 minutes because they had a timer. First off, I know the amount of time because I was counting the minutes on the clock. Nobody likes to sit and wait for their food at a fast food restaurant. Second, she didn't apologize for the wait but instantly went on the offense and became argumentative. I left there feeling like I've been called a liar and feeling like they were manipulating the amount of time it took them to serve food. I've done customer service and I expect better than that. read more
