The store itself has everything in one central location, ranging from Cds, DVDs to Games, TVs, Computers, Laptops, Cameras, Mobile Phones etc. It is also conveniently located on the first floor in the Well and I go there everytime I get a chance even if it's just to waste some time browsing through Cds and Dvds.

I recently purchased a new TV from JB Hifi from this store. The person that served my offered my a…read moresmall discount off my purchase (even though I did not ask for it which was cool). Unfortunately I could not fit the TV into my car so I had to organise for a home delivery. The warehouse person that I spoke to said that I could get delivery of my TV as early as Tuesday after my purchase on Saturday which I thought was quite good. The transport company that was engaged on behalf JB contacted me on Monday to arrange for a delivery date of Wednesday between 8 and 10am. On Wednesday I waited until 10:20am. Realising that my delivery was not coming I contacted JB and was given the contact details for Toll Fast. I then contacted them and asked for an ETA. I was told at this point that the computer system was down but they would follow up for me again. After waiting 20 minutes I called back to Toll Fast and it was explained to me at that point that my delivery had been scheduled between 9am and midday (as opposed to 8am and 10am). This would have been fine, except I had taken work off to wait for the delivery. I then contacted JB Hifi at 11:20 to pass on feedback on my customer experience where I was told that the Store Manager was busy and that they would call me back. 20 mins later after still no phone call I called the store again and was put immediately through to the store manager (in my opinion she had probably forgotten). She then promised that she would be in contact with the Transport company to get an update. After hearing nothing back by 12:05 I contacted the transport company for an update. The person on the end of the phone explained that she had just been on the phone with jb hifi and suggested that I call them. When I asked if she could just tell me the information rather than me call someone else she said no and hung up on me. After speaking with the Store Manager at JB Hifi after then it was explained to me that my delivery had been put on priority but they still could not provide me with an update. It was then clarified to me that the manager at this store was a floor manager not a store manager. I then asked for compensation in respect to my inconvenience and I was told that my request was unreasonable and the best that they could do was to "sort me out" the next time I was in store. What does this equate to from losing a days work is not clear to me. It is now 12:54pm I have no idea where my TV is and I am understandably irritated after waiting more than half a day waiting for something that might come. Such a lack of customer empathy here, I seriously wouldn't bother.

Hot Bargains is the best spot for all those little accessory items that you need for throwaway events (fancy dress, kids birthdays, Christmas presents, girlfriend's birthday etc). They more than deliver on their hot bargain promise and you won't believe how much crap they've got piled up in there. This is the reason we need a free trade agreement with China. Sure, they'll benefit by getting access to the very fuckin' elements and minerals the miners pull out of the fuckin' ground here, but you, as a proud Australian, will have access to all of the mass produced plastic shit you can ever imagine. Wow. Our politicians are really on to a winner there. Seriously, do not bother with another shop if you wanna go fancy dress. I got a full Mexican gangster outfit (complete with cap gun) for about $8. You can't fuck with those prices... Honcho.

They had a pretty good range of some of the bigger names, and there weren't really many cheapies there, but that's ok, I was shopping for quality. One of the guys saw me browsing and came over to assist me in my quest. Really nice guy, very helpful, not annoying at all. I asked him if he could do better than the number on the price tag, and yes, he could do quite a bit better. Long story short, no, I didn't get my vaccuum here, but that's because I found the same thing elsewhere a little bit cheaper. But I had a good experience as a potential customer, so I can see myself buying things there in the future.

I bought three office pants and 2 pairs of shoes and it only cost me a little over $20. Many of the clothes only cost $5 each and some were $3. Winning! Aside from clothes, they sell furniture and household goods. I even saw a printer for sale. This will definitely be my go-to for thrift stores in the future. :)

They do specify that these products are not affiliated with the original designers whatsoever but still make for very interesting pieces and designs. You could easily spend a couple of hours here deciding on what suits and there are pieces to suit a number of different budgets.
