The pastries themselves were expensive, but were filling. Overall, everything wasn't sweet enough and the flavors were very average. The guava roll had a tangy cream and there wasn't enough filling to pastry. The cacao roll also was tangy and had a waxy texture due to the nibs. I wished both were a little sweeter. The dulce de leche bun was also dry and very messy to eat. It did taste the best out of the three pastries though. My favorite from the trip was the beetroot juice, it was so refreshing.

You select what you want, pay, and then pick up your order. Their cookie selection is immense, and they sell them by the pound. I ordered two boxes at half a pound each. The cookies are delicious (think Whole Foods cookies, but better). For sweet bread, I only chose six pieces since they don't travel well on a plane, but wow... the quality was outstanding and the variety is incredible. Service is quick and cordial. The pastries and service were delicious. While they do not have indoor seating, it was very pleasant to sit outside on the sidewalk and people-watch. We tried three different pastries: a plantain pudding pastry, a fruity meringue pastry, and a very unique peanut butter and chapulines cruffin. All were excellent. My only piece of constructive feedback is regarding the payment process. We had to pay for the pastries separately from the coffee, which made the experience less smooth.
