San Miguel has a wide variety of pan. I came here on a recommendation of a friend, looking for a specific pastry, the "Niño envuelto." They actually had a version of it, but not the specific one I wanted. Don't forget to grab some tamales on your way out too!!

My husband and I love San Miguel's! The owner, victor, has always been wonderful to work with. We love their cream cheese jalapeño pastries. We have also enjoyed serving them at Ninth Street Soccer and Coffee for futbol matches.

I always get the Tres Leches cake every time. When they have tamales those are a must have as well.

I tried a variety…read moreof chocolate-based desserts, and every single one was incredibly creative, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. You can tell a lot of thought and craftsmanship go into each dessert--these weren't just sweets, they felt like edible works of art. The chocolate flavors were rich without being overwhelming, and each item had its own unique twist that made the experience fun and memorable. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully balanced, which made it hard to pick a favorite. If you enjoy inventive desserts done well, Edward Dessert Kitchen is definitely worth the stop. I'd absolutely go back to try more of their creations.

Wish I would have visited more often. Staff were friendly. Sad they are closing the doors for good soon. Such a cute place! We got there in the evening so they were out of a lot things (very limited options for desserts) but they still have drink options. I got the hummingbird and mango oat milk matcha. My sister got the brookie (brownie cookie). Everything was really good. The place was packed and stayed consistently busy! They close 6/29/25.

First, I love the pastries you can buy to-go. This review though is for their cooking class. Be…read moreaware that you will be seated with a group of 6 and you'll have to work with them to decide who does what tasks, since not everyone will get to try making everything. I attended solo but luckily really liked the group I was assigned to. We wanted everyone to work on things they enjoy and allowed everyone to try some parts of the important tasks (making pasta and pastry dough). Your enjoyment might really depend on what your group is like. You can buy wine and beer to drink while you take the class, and those were reasonably priced I thought! $9 for a glass of wine and I think $8 for beer. The class was chaotic since we were making three courses and things needed to be done at different times, but the chaos felt like how it really is in a kitchen making multi course menus, so that didn't bother me! The assistants were great and helped us stay on track and helped if we were struggling with anything. I can't say I learned much from the class (which is why I only gave 4 stars), but I sure had a lot of fun!

The chocolate almond croissant is next level--flaky, buttery, and packed with rich, decadent flavor. And don't even get me started on the breakfast sandwiches--they're gourmet-level masterpieces. Every bite is perfection. The vibe & service here is warm and inviting, with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries filling the air. Whether you're grabbing a coffee, treating yourself to a pastry, or diving into one of their soups or salads, this place nails it every time. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Cooks Bellecour is an absolute gem!
