Outside is a Sinclair gas station with reasonable prices for the area of the state you are in. Inside you'd expect to see a typical gas station convenience store - but you'd be wrong. What you have is aisle after aisle of a complete grocery store. So many great food options and a huge frozen section. Even some clothing and apparel items. Lots of cool stickers, decals, and home decorations also. Over the years they have done an amazing job of remodeling sections of their store, expanding, and adding features. It seems like we always recognize a couple of changes on each visit. Love seeing a place pour money back into their business and help better serve their community and tourists as well. They have clean restrooms and even a cool seating area where you can eat and drink what you've purchased in the store. Some of our favorites are the pre-packed plastic cups of fruit and other snacks which are perfect for long hours on the road. They have a huge cooler section full of drinks and fountain drinks if that's your preference. Friendly cashiers and plenty of employees to answer any questions you might have. Just a great place for a stop on a long or short trip through Nevada.

All I can think is they treat tourists and folks who don't live in Alamo as outsiders and deliberately give slow service. My boyfriend finally asked about out order after watching everyone else get their food (and some ordered the same thing we did). He was just told "it is coming" We will NEVER eat there again and I warn travelers to plan your meals so that you don't end up sitting for an hour waiting for a meal.

My car broke down in Ash Springs on June 15, 2026, around 12 p.m., at the Green Valley Grocery. I…read moream a disabled senior citizen with a service dog. It was over 100 degrees when my truck starter went out. I called my insurance company, a company that consistently advertises that they take care of veterans, and after two days of no help getting towed home, I figured it out myself. My truck was towed home on June 16, 2026, around 2 p.m. In the meantime, due to the extended amount of time I dealt with the insurance company, my dog and I got to know the employees on every shift at the store. Several of the workers helped me look for a local mechanic, but none were in town. Every one of the workers checked on me and the health of my dog due to the extreme heat. One workers spouse helped me try to troubleshoot my starter issue. While I had a horrible two-day insurance ordeal, I was blessed to interact with people who extended the most kindness to a stranger in distress that I have ever met. So, thank you to Store Manager Tiffany, PAPA, Sherry, and one other man whose name I failed to capture. I will continue to use the Green Velley Grocery as that is where I fuel up on my many trips up and down HWY 93. I will never forget your kindness.
