The interior of the bar has upscale booths across from the bar as well as a larger room that can fit larger groups of people. The bar is known for its wines, but to me, it also had some super delicious cocktails. I got a gin and tonic with UK/British ingredients: Kinsale gin and elderflower tonic. DELICIOUS. We also ordered the charcuterie plate, which was filled with delicious meats and dried fruit. The only area of improvement would be the consistency and speed at preparing the drinks. Since we were waiting for a table at Gallagher's, we only had about 30 minutes at the restaurant. However, either due to an inconsistent kitchen or too much care with the food, the drinks and food took quite a while to get out and delayed us from getting to our table by about 20 minutes. Still, I do think this is a good bar to stop by and would do it again!

The broth was a tad salty but I love salt so I was fine with it - Fish and Chips - just wow! The fish was cooked perfectly, nice and light. Piping hot when it was brought out to me. The breading was delicious, not over powering, and perfectly crispy. I tried so hard to finish it all but unfortunately was super full. Maybe I should've skipped the mussels and just gone all in on the fish and chips. The sauce with the fish was tangy and yummy. I think it was tarter sauce but I don't remember. The pea puree needed a little bit of salt. - Creme Brûlée - I was full but I can't turn down dessert. Luckily it was small and I was able to eat it all. It was tasty and the perfect ending to my meal.

During our entire stay, as my friends had joined about 10 minutes after I was seated and had already ordered drinks, the employee just kept throwing glances and staring at us the entire time. We were all ordering, so it wasn't like we were holding a table hostage. We did get good service from the waiter, although he didn't come around as often, even when we were out of drinks. Kudos to the whisky sommelier for giving us great suggestions. It's a quirky bar/restaurant, but I'm not sure it would be worth a return trip. The employee with the attitude was really unnerving.

We go to Reardens... Partially because no other bars were really crowded after dinner and partially because we were simply curious. Surprise surprise, our waiter was right. Reardens reminds me of my old college dives. Dirty, loud, and yes, full of men who all behave as if they belong in a rowdy fraternity. My ass was slapped at least 3 times while walking to and from the bar. Beer was spilled frequently in beat with the Top 40 music spun by the DJ. If this is what you're looking for, come get it. That scene lost its appeal for me years ago.

We started with the oysters, we are from New England USA so these oysters were much meatier than what we are used to, delicious but very filling! The fish tacos were very tasty and the portion size of the fish was very large compared to what we are used to. I would have just gotten the fish tacos if I knew how large they would be. We also got the chargrilled sirloin steak which was very well cooked and the chimichurri sauce was a nice addition. To top us off we did get the house chips with rosemary which were delicious as well. The roasted garlic mayo that accompanied them was very good.
