Mr. sharp is so convenient and did such a great job on 13 knives I brought to him plus a hedge clipper! Be careful though! They are sharp, and I cut myself (nothing fatal) almost immediately. I picked up some info and his prices were very reasonable. He recommended people get them done more often as they can damage them if doing it incorrectly (like I did). I know knife care well or so I thought, but still picked up a couple good tips as he is friendly and helpful. They are amazingly sharp now - it is worth it. He says most people don't get them sharpened often enough or they damage them trying it themselves and screwing up the process. We'll be back to Armand.

Armand is a self-described perfectionist, and would not let me leave until he demonstrated, and had me use, the mower on a patch of tough grass. Naturally the once dull blades now sliced through paper (he pulled some out) and leaves of grass, like the infamous Vorpal blade through the Jabberwock! Fantastic! I highly recommend this service.

He takes your knives, and texts you when they're done. My high-carbon Sabatier and Henckel knives are beautifully sharp, as is my lawnmower. We'll be calling him back every year, I think. If you've got a place for him to park his van, I encourage you to have a sharpening party in your neighborhood. Bobby's a super professional and friendly guy, and his wife is beyond sweet. They're a good team, and they do good work.

I decided to bring my kitchen knives in to John again, and see now that there is a significant difference in sharpness. Well worth the drive! When honing in between no longer does it, I will be bringing my knives back to John to sharpen. He does a quality job on a timely basis, and on top of that, John is a great guy!
