7/7/2024 My sister had a very rude encounter with this male…read moreemployee, my sister went in to purchase a frame and a few other things she had a 30% off coupon for frames. The employee ROLLED HIS EYES because my sister asked to do a separate transaction so she could apply her coupon. I went ahead and paid for others things in the self checkout. For whatever reason the coupon was not working, which the coupon had a barcode and was not expired, the employee ROLLED HIS EYES and said the best I can do is 10%! My sister politely ask to speak to his manager, the young lady came and said oh yeah this not sale item we can apply the 30% perfect that's all sister needed. The lady walked away, the employee then CRINKLED my sister receipt and handed it to her. I don't know if the person was having a bad day or just hates there job, regardless there was no reason to be disrespectful. He shouldn't be working in customer service.

My watch was still on San Diego time, LOL, so I forgot how late it was and got there about 15…read moreminutes before they closed. Fortunately I'm familiar enough with their merchandise that I was able to run for the section I wanted, found at least some of what I went after, threw it in my basket, lucked out on some sales and finding a 50% off coupon from Joann's on my phone, plus 40% to 50% off a couple of rubber stamping items, ink pads , peacock stamp, paper. I hurried back up to the counter and paid for my items so the girls could go home. I was surprised this location had no pictures and no reviews on Yelp. I was afraid maybe it was an old location that hadn't ever been reported as closed. After going inside it I wondered if instead it was a newer location because it had the look of a new store and had a great selection. Because I was running so late I didn't have a chance to ask any Clerks. The store is not very visible from the street and I passed right by the shopping area it was in the first time. After stopping in Braums Ice Cream for a small sundae I doubled back to this location expecting there to be no Michaels here. Fortunately for me I found it. I think this will be a fairly close location to the area I stay in while in town so I will probably be back when I have a better idea what yarn I need to go with the fleece I just bought at Hobby Lobby.
