It was nice to have a Surfside and Miller High Life after being out of the country for so long. We didn't eat anything but had a great time with the drinks, sports on TV and selecting our own music on TouchTunes. I love those in bars. We came in at a decent hour, way before closing, maybe around 10 but the bar dining room was already packed up for closing -- chairs were put up. We sat at the bar, danced around and stepped outside a bit so it was alright. But I feel like with more drinks, music and the people that were on the way it would've been a great BLAST. There was absolutely nothing special about this old fashioned. I think the most disappointing thing about this drink was they muddled the luxardo cherry into the drink. The only place so far that I found that actually had luxardo cherries WHY would you muddle it. Ugh. The inside was cool. It really could have been a place I would frequent because of its proximity to work. But bummed they just don't have my drink. No biggie there are other places

For me that was fine because I'm not into a large crowd. I met some people there. Being a visitor from Chicago I'm use to a variety of bars and entertainment. My drinks starting off were not good. That's when I found out I was getting a flavored vodka instead of a regular vodka. Things picked up and were great when the bartender fixed things. The music is great and there is also a second bar. The price for drinks are extremely reasonable. I recommend if you are visiting Springfield you make this place your next stop. The crowd did pick up about 1a.
