Her building is on Broadway, (roads are bumpy so be careful when driving with your treats), It's a little hidden behind some poles but they have a sign right when you walk in. She was very communicative and I was running late picking up one order and she waited a little longer for me before closing up! Her cakes are beautifully decorated and taste amazing!

We popped into Nashville Cafe downtown and it immediately felt like one of those hidden little gems…read moreyou're glad you stumbled into. The space itself is adorable--think industrial loft vibes with exposed brick, warm wood accents, and that cozy, slightly artsy feel you get from an old brick building repurposed just right. It's the kind of place that feels calm and intimate, especially tucked into a quieter downtown pocket that gives off small-city charm in the best way. I ordered a loose-leaf green tea (I won't even attempt to pronounce the name), brewed French-press style, and it was so good--earthy, smooth, and surprisingly reminiscent of crispy rice mixed with green tea. Warm, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared. My husband went with an Americano, which was solid and well-balanced. They do offer food and small bites, but what really stood out was how community-forward the space feels. There's local artwork displayed throughout the café, all available for purchase, along with curated retail items like tallow products, cool tees, and other thoughtful little finds you don't usually see in a coffee shop. Between the cozy industrial atmosphere, quality drinks, and strong support of local artists and makers, Nashville Cafe feels less like a quick coffee stop and more like a place you actually want to linger. A really sweet spot downtown--quiet, creative, and full of character.

If you're not one who likes to talk on the phone, they do have a facebook page you can message as well. The baker was friendly and responsive at least. I am extremely let down by this cake and feel embarrassed to even show it off in photos. The cake itself is extremely, extremely dry. Loved this place, was recommended it by a Lubbock local and it didn't disappoint…read more We arrived around 10:30am on a Thursday and it was perfect timing as they filled up by the time we left. They have a few tables inside and outside, we sat inside. There was one individual working for orders and they were a delight. Very friendly and patient as we weren't sure what to get. Coffee was tasty, and we went with the southwestern omelet, French toast, 1 blueberry pancake and breakfast plate with ham. Highly recommended to order the hash browns well done (1 plate and 1 did not) and wished I had done the well done ones. Next time. The food was great and everything came out hot. As they are a make to order kitchen, patience is key for greatness. We also ordered a few of the fried pies to go....so the verdict is still out on those. I doubt they won't be delicious based on the meal. Great place to checkout if in the area.

I've seen this restaurant nestled behind Breakfast House and wondered about it for years. It was a…read morefriendly place with decent good, but it won't be a place I'll be going to regularly. For anyone wondering what I was wondering: - you do not order at the counter and then sit down. You choose a table and have a waitress. Ours was attentive and friendly. - don't go here if you just want something light. Most items are heavy. There is a fruit parfait option, but it was 12 dollars. - if you're debating getting the biscuits or the blueberry pancake, absolutely get the pancake. It was HUGE and delicious. - Don't bother paying extra and getting meat. Neither the ham nor bacon were very good. - sit inside if you can. The front patio is okay, but is surrounded by the pothole filled parking lot, backs of buildings, and an employment service business. - I was hoping to grab a slice of apple bread or an apple item, but the bakery cabinet was extremely limited and needed to be restocked.
