I scheduled a Morpheus8 treatment and waited months for my appointment. Upon arrival, RH Aesthetic drew approximately 100 mL of my blood as part of the planned procedure. Only after drawing my blood was I informed that I was not a candidate for treatment based on an assessment that, in my experience, was inaccurate. My concern is not that they declined to perform the procedure. Providers should always exercise clinical judgment when appropriate. My concern is that a thorough consultation and candidacy assessment should have occurred before any blood was drawn. At the time, I was anemic, making the situation even more concerning. Drawing blood and then determining a patient is ineligible for treatment reflects poor screening and questionable clinical workflow. Patients trust medical spas to make these determinations before initiating any part of a procedure. Since then, I have undergone multiple Morpheus8 treatments elsewhere without issue and was considered an appropriate candidate. While my views on Morpheus8 technology itself have evolved over time, that is separate from this review. The issue is the lack of proper assessment before proceeding with treatment preparation. This experience left me feeling that patient care and safety were secondary to process and appearance. For that reason, I cannot recommend RH Aesthetic and am leaving a one-star review. There are many qualified providers who take the time to properly evaluate patients before beginning treatment. I encourage prospective clients to do their research and choose a provider that prioritizes thorough consultation, patient safety, and professional clinical judgment.

I was so pleased to actually speak with her directly and not a receptionist so I booked an appointment for last week. I was still pretty skeptical about whether I would like the results because she agreed that I only needed 28 units. We booked a couple of days advance for my daughter and her friend, to celebrate her friend's 12th birthday. Went back and forth a few times over text message with them about making sure the girls could be together for the kids scalp treatment (it's for ages 8-14) and an on the go facial- each service 30 mins, one hour total for each girl. The girls were excited for the special occasion. The shop looks like it is still being set up and just opened recently. Kind of a pop up type vibe / ambiance. When we arrived we were greeted but the person didn't speak English and when I confirmed we were there for two facials and two kids scalp treatments per the appt, she looked at the girls and started saying things we couldn't understand. We used a translator on her phone to try to communicate, she was telling me the "babies" had too much hair and they couldn't wash "it" all out. My daughter has long thick curly hair and her friend has straight hair a few inches past her shoulders. No one had asked about length or texture or anything at the time of booking. We waited for another employee to come but she also couldn't communicate in English. I asked them via their translator about the facials we booked, thinking since they seemed to be saying they couldn't perform the scalp service since they could not wash the girls' hair out in thirty minutes. It was unclear if they didn't have time or wanted us to pay more money. This was their advertised service, we had planned on it... no disclaimers about long hair needing anything special in terms of cost or time, nothing about anything being put in that was difficult to wash out, I still have no idea what the issue was. I asked if they were trying to get me to pay more for a different service? They couldn't explain or answer anything well. They pointed at another package that cost twice what we had booked ($40 kids package, they wanted us to do the $80 package for both girls). The facials were additional obviously, but every time I asked about them they ignored me and continued saying they could not wash the kids hair. I was hoping we could just do facials and salvage the bday celebration. We couldn't have any conversation past that, even with the translator. I took time off work, and this was the last day before school starts that the girls were available to celebrate. None of that is Elodia's problem, they likely forgot that it was a special occasion but judging by the way they handled it, they probably wouldn't have cared. They need to make sure someone with the ability to communicate works there to help guests and they definitely need to update their pricing and information, if age is not the determining factor as they state, and length of hair is, they should tell people that up front instead of trying the bait and switch when customers arrive. We spent quite a while trying to communicate and when it was evident they could not and or would not be able to perform any of the four services we booked, and were just going to keep saying the same few words over and over (who knows if they would have also told me the girls faces were too big and would also cost extra for facials LOL)... we left. Anywhere who cared about customer service at all would have just performed the service they sold and let us know it took longer and might cost more next time. I would have tipped generously and appreciated them making the experience work, especially since it wasn't our fault they booked services they don't seem to have any clarity for. We were able to find another activity and the girls still had a great day but we will have to reschedule the spa experience and I would definitely urge against anyone going here until they figure things out. It's not a place I'd ever try again or recommend to anyone I like.

When my daughter and I walked in, we noticed a beach scene painted on the walls. We sat on the couch while the receptionist finished a transaction with another customer. After a few minutes, we were called back and shown the changing room. We were able to change and safely store our clothes and purses in lockers that only we had the key to. We were given clean robes and slippers, then directed to the relaxation room to wait for our couples "Perfect Time Out for 2" spa package in a private suite. The package includes either a 30-minute aromatherapy sauna or a 30-minute hydrotherapy bath, followed by a 60-minute combination massage. The combination massage uses both light and medium pressure and is meant to ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote lasting relaxation. We only sat in the relaxation room for a few moments before our massage therapists told us that our private suite was ready. When we walked in, the room was dark and lit with battery-operated candles. It smelled wonderful, and soothing music was playing. There was also a television mounted in the corner, which I didn't feel was necessary in such a relaxing environment. We began with the hydrotherapy bath. The bath normally includes almond oil, but because one of us has a mild almond allergy, they substituted bath salts and other wonderfully scented oils instead. The tub had jets that we could turn on, and it was very relaxing. After 30 minutes, our massage therapists let us know it was time to move to the tables for our 60-minute massages. We got down to our birthday suits and slipped underneath the sheets. Penny was my massage therapist, and my daughter had Remni. Penny did massage my entire body, but it felt more like she was rubbing my skin rather than working the muscles underneath. Honestly, I have had better 30-minute massages at the mall and during pedicures. However, I did appreciate the stretches and the relaxing oil rubdown.... sort of. I really wanted my muscles to be rubbed, but we never got there. My daughter, on the other hand, said her massage was amazing. Ugh--that's what I wanted! I'm glad she enjoyed herself. She said she would definitely go back. I would consider returning too, but I would want a different massage therapist next time. Throughout our visit, we were offered complimentary beverages. After our massages, we sat in the relaxation room, where I enjoyed a glass of red wine. Once I finished, we returned to the changing room. There was also a shower available if we wanted to rinse off before getting dressed. My daughter and I changed and headed to the front to take care of the bill. I was able to use a gift card given to me by someone I used to know, so thanks, buddy! Overall, the private suite and hydrotherapy bath were relaxing, the atmosphere was soothing, and my daughter absolutely loved her massage. My experience was a little more mixed, but I would still be open to returning and trying someone else. I felt like the massage part of the package was a very important part, and it unfortunately fell short, so I did let the front desk know. And please, don't forget to tip!

I was caught off guard when Dr. Boparai walked in. I assumed I was seeing Dr. Champlin, but that was MY FAULT for not checking. Dr. Boparai said Dr. Champlin retired earlier this year. However, I decided to get them because they were having a special for $399 (which is 50% off). Lesson learned. I get them done & immediately knew they were uneven. I was so sad, but I was like it's fine maybe it will get better let them settle... Then I get an infection. They were amazing about that- in making sure I got abx that same day. Dr. Boparai wanted to see what was going on, so I go in the next day. She stated, this has never happened before... I was trying to show her where my lips where uneven, but it was near the site of infection. She said finish the abx, wait the two weeks, & we will go from there. So, I wait & scheduled my appt thinking I was getting more filler that day. However, there was some miscommunication & that appt became a consultation. She was saying with the discount & how much product she was using she's basically covering the cost... which I thought was REALLY unprofessional. She's not wrong, but this is your business & that shouldn't be any of your patient's concern. She ran the promotion, NOT ME. At this point, Dr. Boparai said she will reach out to the rep & let me know. She was able to get a syringe. Cool. I just wanted to get it over with because it has caused so much anxiety. I come to the appt & show her where I want it. As she's preparing the needle etc, she's like you should write me a Yelp review since I'm getting in such a small area. I literally thought in my head... You mean for doing your job, which should have been done correctly the first time! So, here I am writing that Yelp review she asked for MULTIPLE TIMES Now she's injecting my bottom R lip & doesn't want to get too close to the borders (which is correct), but ends up putting it all in the corner of my mouth. AT THAT MOMENT I KNEW ohh SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE'S DOING! I told her to stop because it was going in the WRONG AREA. Now it was overfilled & more uneven then when we started. She's like "you're unhappy." I said yah "I used to have beautiful lips" (she said I still did). At that point I'm just done. Dr. Boparai (herself) offered a possible option to have a more experienced injector fix it. She's like I'd rather fix it now. So I'm showing her AGAIN... when it FINALLY CLICKED when she looked from my pov. In my head I'm like so you just were injecting without even fully knowing what I was talking about? LOL. We tried one more time... I'm like can you add some here & FINALLY it became more even Thank God. So as I'm leaving I still wasn't sure if I was going to have to pay because she never gave me a definitive answer. Luckily, she didn't charge me, which I very appreciative of. *Side note: stuff from reps are free* I never looked up Dr. Boparai's credentials because I was expecting Dr. Champlin & at that point it didn't matter the damage was already done. BUT Now, I'm curious. Once I see that she was a PCP everything made sense! THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION, BUT I WOULD HAVE NEVER LET HER TOUCH MY FACE knowing she's a PCP. Yes, I know you can be trained & still do well, but that comes with time & practice & I felt like I was her first ever patient. Almost done, trust it's been annoying typing up, But I had to give the full story. I'm still unhappy & it was bothering me ALL DAY-everyday. I'm like no, just call. Mind you, Dr. Boparai HERSELF brought up the idea of having someone else come fix my lips, so I assumed that was still an option. I had already made up my mind I wouldn't let her touch me anymore, I just wanted someone who knew what they were doing TO MAKE MY LIPS EVEN. I called last Thursday & was advised to send pics & they will reach out to the reps & call me back. There was NO COMMUNICATION. At this point I felt like they were ghosting me. My friend was like do you want to call from my phone I started laughing because I'm like no I'm not in a toxic relationship. I shouldn't have to do that... This is supposed to be a professional business. They finally text me back on Wednesday (yesterday) almost a week later. She said she can remove them, but will not give me any additional filler. Okay that's fine I just want them back to normal. She tells me it will be $250 & went on to explain AGAIN how I got it for 50 % off plus the additional syringe. Again, not my fault they decided to do a promotion. Nope I'm done. I will pay to get them removed from a reputable lip injector. Like Dr. Boparai emphasized we both took financial losses.
