Sharon is probably one of the best detail oriented groomers in Pocatello. We have went to the groom…read moreroom for 3 years and she has always done a excellent job with my husbands service dog " Jackson" who is a Full Standard Poodle" she usually doesn't accept large breeds, but if she takes a liking to you!!! ..

I've honestly never been treated with such disrespect. After the first groom with my new dog with…read moreSharon my breeder suggested I request she cut the face on my yorkie/Maltese more round as she considered that first cut resembling more of a "Schnauzer" cut. So when I went in the second time I simply requested a more round face. Sharon immediately got defensive and retorted she's "not a miracle worker" when I explained it was coming from the breeder she criticized "oooh I wouldn't call her a breeder" ???? (So the person who bred two dogs to make mine is not a breeder???) then I thought I'd read her my breeder's message in case I wasn't being clear, as she was clearly upset and I was confused as to why my request for a round face was so upsetting to her. Mid message reading, Sharon shoves my dog at me across her counter and shouts "here's your dog! You're insulting! Schnauzer Cut!? Schnauzer Cut!?" She then proceeded to grab her "Show Dog Catalog" and thumbs through it aggressively, upon finding a photo of a Schnauzer she points to it and declares "THIS IS A SCHNAUZER CUT" as if that was the main issue...All I wanted was for my sweet little 4lb baby girl to have a cute little round face. I had no idea requesting such was going to turn into a temper tantrum. I simply said, "ok Sharon, have a good day." And walked out. I will never go back. But I do think Sharon can cut a mean Schnauzer cut (:

I am heartbroken and furious. My 13-month-old golden retriever, Maple, was attacked during her…read morefirst overnight stay at Pocatello Pet Lodge on July 18-19, 2025. She came home with at least 13 puncture wounds across her back, ribs, and neck. No staff member informed me of the injuries, and no one even noticed they had occurred. Before this, Maple loved daycare here. But in April 2025, the facility was bought by Best Friends Pet Care, and the quality of care has drastically declined. When I dropped Maple off for her overnight stay, the staff was rude, disorganized, and admitted they didn't even have a kennel ("house") ready for her. Despite purchasing their highest-tier package and bringing her crate, they kept her in a temporary chain-link kennel the entire time. Additionally, I did not receive the 'bedtime photo' I paid for until after her stay was over. The photo, attached, shows she did not sleep in her crate, as they promised and claimed. When I discovered her wounds at home, I immediately called. The manager and staff were unaware Maple had been attacked. Based on her numerous injuries and her timid personality, this was not a single bite--it was a prolonged, unsupervised attack, possibly by multiple dogs. Staff later admitted they are severely understaffed and required by corporate policy to book at 110% capacity. Although they refunded her stay and offered to cover the vet bill, they claimed they could not identify which dog(s) harmed her. This means the aggressive dog(s) has not been banned or separated and may still be attending daycare and boarding. I will never take my dog back, and I strongly recommend you do not either. Maple survived only because of her size--if this had happened to a smaller dog, I believe it would have been fatal.
