I don't usually write reviews but I feel the need to compliment Janie and the employees at pamper dry cleaners.. my daughter was asked to be a bridesmaid in her friends wedding in florida... the gown was a wrinkled mess at our home in NY. The dress had to be ready to be worn when it got to florida. Janie made sure it fit into the carry on perfectly... all wrapped in plastic and tissue to prevent wrinkling!!! Picked up my pants and the stain in them was still there. Went to my car and looked at the "cleaned" item and it was still stained. After going back inside to mention this, the lady was very rude and short with me. She didn't acknowledge that she gave me an item that was "cleaned" and still stained and didn't bother checking it or mentioning to me that the stain didn't come out. Very rude and not really sure what the attitude was about. Told me to come back in a few days, but didn't explain that she was going to try and take the stain out once more at no charge. After asking for a receipt for what I paid for, she gave me an attitude and said, "I gave it to you", referring to the new pick up date receipt. read more

Great service. My son needed to get his suit pants hemmed in a rush. The tailor did a great job and had them ready.

This busines is totally incompetent. I live in Plainview and for 6 months I have received my clothes with the same stains I sent them in with. They have destroyed practically all the buttons on my shirt collars and cuffs. Each time I call the owner he tells me he will look into it and make sure it doesn't happen again and every Wednesday and Saturday when they deliver my clothes the buttons are still shattered or missing completely. I finally stopped using them as they obviously don't care about their customers and they charge ridiculously high prices to destroy your clothes and don't even clean them. This place is the absolute worst. As you can see in the attached picture, my $200 blazer is destroyed after getting it dry cleaned from here. I put it on this morning and realized after taking it out from their packaging, but I'm sure if I go back and tell them they will deny it was them. A pair of pants I picked up as well has the tag hanging by a thread. DO NOT go here, they will destroy your clothes. Surprised they get any business at all. read more

I was charged $50 for a regular wash & fold service. I had a pretty normal sized load of laundry, came back to pick it up & they pulled a number out of the air, I would not recommend using this business. There are far cheaper alternatives that provide the same service in the area. read more

Never an issue, clothing cleaned well 100% of the time, courteous service, and reliable tailoring

My boyfriend got me a limited edition jacket for Christmas... only 1989 were made (Star Wars Princess Leia thing haha)....the jacket had a manufacter's defect and could not be worn because it was sewed incorrectly. Columbia (maker of jacket) apparently could not do anything about this nor could they issue me a new jacket as it was one of a kind. It was VERY expensive. So after taking it to a couple of seamstresses FINALLY a woman here was able to confidently cut it apart right in front of my boyfriends mother and assured her she could fix it. Very disappointed ! I prepaid for my dry cleaning. When I picked it up I was told I had to pay again I had my receipt to show that I had already paid but they still argued with me saying they had to check their cameras ! The owner called later explaining to me his computer system. All I know is that I paid cash Who knows what they did Don't prepay especially cash! Do not go to this cleaners unless you want your clothes to be ruined and to be yelled at by the manager, Robert, when you bring them back to complain! I was literally scolded by this man when I asked him to repress a sweater that they charged me $13 (!) to clean. In front of other customers, he told me not to come back if Im not satisfied with their service. I have been a loyal customer for 15yrs! I will never step foot into this cleaner again. Idk why I have to give a star to this place...Deceitful business practice. Was charged $57 even though I was given a receipt stating the dry cleaning would be 5.75. Manager told me that I should "read better". Will be disputing the charge with credit card company. Real holiday spirit. First and only time customer as I will never be using their services again. NEVER USE THEM!!! Worst service in the world. I gave them a brand new pair of jeans for alteration and they lost it. Asked me to wait more than a week and refused to give me a refund since I don't have the receipt. Why would I keep a receipt for a pair of jeans that I gave to the tailor??? WORST PLACE. I have been going there for years and I finally had to tell them that I was very disappointed on the service they have been providing. They lost a shirt two months ago, knocked off numerous buttons on my dress shirts collar and not sawing them back in the correct place. (could not put a tie on because the buttons were not put on in the right place and was tight around my neck), brought pants in to be repaired the tailor did half the job. Simply terrible!. Finally yesterday, I had enough and told this to one of the workers. His response,"this does not happen to anyone else". If you don't like it don't come back. He knows I have been coming there for years and he was not apologetic, He could care less. If I was the owner, I would fire him for speaking to a customer like that especially I spend around 50.00 a week in cleaning. This is a disgrace and not away to run a business. They are not the only cleaner in town and I hope people find this review helpful when looking for a reliable cleaner. Every time I come into this cleaners I am greeted with a smile by robert & mariam who always treat every garment as if it was their own.
