Food is good, service is great, friendly old town country atmosphere, a great place to meet up with friends or family.

Great little diner with delicious home cooked meals. Easy to find and worth the drive or stop if traveling 24 to Quincy.

Excellent food, great prices and friendly staff. Every time we eat there we get our food very fast and they handle big groups very well.

Fried chicken is pretty good & you always get plenty to eat.. Breaded Tenderloin was good. Grilled tenderloin was kind of dry.

For some reason the reviews were not great but we decided to give The Abbey a try and we are glad we did! We were seated immediately . We explained to our server Sally they my wife is Gluten free and she was super helpful. They offer a nice menu with a wide variety of food options. We started with their drink specials..a frozen vodka drink and a Redemption bourbon double. Prices were super cheap in our opinion. My wife had the baby back ribs with mixed vegetables and they fell off the bone. Sauce was amazing. I had their Surf and Turf special . Steak was cooked just right and the shrimp stuffed with crab meat were very good. Portions were huge and unfortunately we could not take anything home since we were staying at a hotel. This is a family owned and operated that feels like home. Decor is really cool and definitely a place to stop in whether just for drinks, appetizers, burgers or steaks.

The service was great and our waitress made really good suggestions since we weren't familiar with the menu and I needed gluten friendly modifications. We both ordered cocktails which were served up quickly while we waited for dinner. Everything came out just as ordered and was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to come back when in the area again.
