As a recently retired RN, I decided it was time to invest in taking better care of myself and the payoff has been extraordinary. Cat set me up w/ a wellness tracking log that included step counts, journaling/mediation, 30 min cardio, sleep quality, fiber/protein etc. Since I live in California, we met regularly via Zoom for check in sessions, assistance w/ strength training, and motivational counseling. I am proud to say, I feel stronger and healthier than I have in 10 years, lost 20 plus pounds over the last 6 months...AND...have continued the path towards wellness by now having her techniques seamlessly incorporate into my everyday routine. BRIKHOUSE offers classes i can do every day ( but of course im not THAT dedicated), before work with other seniors. There are various levels offered from chair mobility, to the strength traing class i attend. Never thought i would be weight lifting, swinging a kettlebell, or pushing a steel sled at this point of my life. Machines in 2 buildings, a womens strength class as well as the mixed one, plus you have the option of joining ZUMBA or Yoga classes. I totally recommend checking this gym out.

The gym looked like it had been skipped over more than once, which isn't exactly what you want when you're paying premium gym prices. The staff were dismissive, rude, and didn't seem interested in helping anyone. On top of that, the place felt completely disorganized. For $40-$70 a month, I'd expect a cleaner facility, better equipment, and customer service that doesn't make you feel like you're inconveniencing them. There are far better gyms in the area for the money.
