Inside the store you will find a variety of clothing, shoes, sandals, sunglasses, bags and my favorite....carver decks for all the long boarders out there. Private surf lessons are available, along with paddle board tours and lessons. Overall this a great place to check out whether you are a beginner or expert and looking for a good place to rent while on vacation. Next time, I would also supplement with surfboard rental for $10/hour or $30 per day to practice in between lessons. Season ends labor day so if you're interested in lessons after this, would recommend calling. Recommend coming during the week as the beaches are less busy. The surf lesson hut is right at the edge of the beach and the parking lot near the hotel's water park area. Check in and signing waivers are at the surf shack. Open cubbies (not secure) to leave towels, sandals, small ice cooler etc behind the shack. Outdoor open shower for general use to rinse off afterwards located behind the shack on the way to the beach also. Parking: Booking instructions say that there is a white 2-story parking structure across the street (unknown cost) as I did free street parking.

This year I was flying the first kite I'd bought from Klig's, and it took a nosedive over a neighboring house and landed in a tree. When I retrieved it, one of the plastic pieces had popped out of place. I took it to the store yesterday and asked if anyone could help with repair. I thought it was worth a shot. I left the kite in their care and expected to hear from someone today. Actually, I was called just 2-3 hours after I'd left the kite and was told that it was fixed. When I got back to the store, I was told there was no charge for the repair.That is excellent customer service!

I was so happy to find a surfboard finally in a store! Paid with cash, and went on my merry way. My aunt and parents also looked in this store. Fair warning they do have lots of political stuff in here, so avoid if it's not your cup of tea. it is a big store though with lots of selection of garden stuff, and kites of course. For me, just happy to find a surfboard with my name on it, as i hang them up in my room in the camper we bring on vacation with us!
