The woman that did my testing was the same. It was like she was mad about something. The woman that checked me out asked me to wait a second then proceeded to ask my name and tell me that I could go. Never even looking up. Rude!! That's not the only negative experience here. In another waiting area for testing I was almost hit by the swinging door and three younger employees laughed out loud. I was disgusted and couldn't believe the unprofessional behavior. One older employee asked if I was ok and could she help me. Again I say. Rude and unprofessional!

I have been dealing with shoulder pain and broken down, and went to see Dr. David Hankins to see if…read moreI really had done something that needed some medical treatment. After the MRI was done and it was read, the next step was not surgery yet, thankfully. Instead, it was to do a cortisone shot to see if that helps. So I was not aware that was going to happen at that appointment. We talked long term goals and what was happening, and what I could and should do, and what I should not do. Once that was all laid out, it came time to do the shot. The nurse came in wih a tray and the stuff and left. The doctor came back and had me sit on the table. Well, my phobia kicked in, and I was in a panic. Thankful the doctor was able to step out and get a nurse, and she was able to help. Let's say there were tears, but we did it, and my shoulder feels so much better. Now I am getting close to the windows were is fading and I can already feel it again. So, next time, I think there is something different that we are going to do. If that does not work, then something that is back on the table is surgery. Dr. Hankins is super nice and cares about each patient and wants the best for them, and there are activities that they want to do and participate in.

rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this urgent care was deeply concerning and needs to be…read moreaddressed. The level of unprofessionalism I encountered from both nurses and doctors was unacceptable. Their demeanor was not only rude but dismissive, especially toward patients with a history of mental health struggles or past medical issues such as substance use. Healthcare providers are supposed to offer compassion and care without judgment, yet here I felt the opposite--treated as "less than" simply because of my medical history. Every patient deserves dignity, respect, and proper medical attention, regardless of their past. To be spoken to in a condescending tone and made to feel like a burden instead of a human being seeking help is not just unprofessional, it is dangerous. If you or a loved one need urgent care, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. No one should have to leave a medical facility feeling worse than when they walked in--emotionally or physically. This clinic urgently needs to re-examine its staff training, ethics, and standards of patient care. * GO TO PRISMA!! LEXINGTON HOSPITALS/URGENT CARES ARE GARBAGE NOW *
