What's amazing is how quickly they see you and get you along your way. It's probably faster than going to a drive thru at a restaurant. Unfortunately I broke my wrist but thankfully I came to the right place for care.

The visit today was the polar opposite. Dr. Lee was short tempered, appeared to be rushed and was highly disrespectful to my mother in law. It is known by all that she is hard of hearing. During the visit she asked a question to which she did not hear Dr. lee's reply the 1st time; about her shoulder pain most likely being arthritis . She posed the question again to which he responded, and I quote, "I just told you it's arthritis!". This followed him telling my husband "she drove before surgery, so she can drive again now!"when he asked about additional( medically identified by Dr.Lee) in home PT visit vs in office PT visits. My husband over looked the first curt response to him by dr. Lee and brushed it off as Dr.Lee having a bad day. However, the reply to his mom could not be excused. We are done with Dr. Lee & will find another provider.

Very slow service, nothing unusual with going to the Dr. The office was busy the day I went. Very professional, Dr Holmes has good bedside mannerism, let's the patient actually discuss the issue. He gave me good options for my issue. I will use Dr Holmes in the future if needed.

Right Elbow Tendentious: I had a horrible experience with…read morethis Dr. McFadden. The nursing staff at the facility is fantastic!! It was just this doctor. I was scheduled for surgery and was uncomfortable with some of the practices of the PA due to my lack of knowledge on the situation. All I know is that after the cortisone shots were administered my situation became worse. I did not want to be cut open until I found out why my situation had become worse after the shots. I was also concerned that when I spoke with Dr. McFadden for the first time about my elbow, he was unaware that I had an MRI done and was already discussing surgery. When he opened my MRI, at my request, he told me that he could see the problem, but it wasn't the worst he'd seen. Still surgery was the next step. The surgery was schedule for 2 days later. I had to cancel my first surgery appointment because I had to pay 20% upfront (that was told to me by the nursing staff) and it being the end of the month, I didn't have the money until the 1st of the following month. Also, 2 days was too quick of a turn around to have my wife take off of work to drive me to the facilities and home. On the day of the rescheduled surgery I fasted the night before, had the requested clothing on, and had my wife take vacation from work to drive me to surgery and remain with me for 2 days afterward as requested. I was fully ready to have the procedure done. Since I was the first surgery of the day, Dr. McFadden was not in yet and I had to wait for him to come in to speak with him. He came into the facility and was irate that I was not already prepped for surgery. The conversation did not go well and when I expressed my concerns of my diagnose and the medical practices of his team, I was meet with hostility and anger. I am the patient and have every right to feel comfortable before someone cuts my body open. However, when I told Dr. McFadden that I was feeling uncomfortable with the procedure until I have better answers on why my situation became worse after the shots, he told me I put him behind schedule and that I am wasting his time. He expressed his frustration that I didn't want to proceed that day with the surgery by stating "You've cancelled on me twice now" again the first cancellation was because I didn't have the money to pay upfront or enough time for my wife to take off of work. He then told me my elbow got worse because it just got worse and then said, "just don't do anything then". I asked why he didn't know I had an MRI done and he said, "I don't need and MRI to know you need this surgery" So why take the MRI??? I asked myself afterward.... He told me to reschedule for another day. When I was walking up to the desk to reschedule, he stopped me and said "you know what? Don't reschedule! Just find yourself another Doctor! To which I replied "OK" and peacefully walked out. I don't know this to be a fact, but this entire event made me feel as if Dr. McFadden and the entire USC-Ortho Center didn't care one bit about my health, but simply wanted to cash in on a seemingly unnecessary MRI and surgery. Also, they had no empathy for patients that may be feeling uncomfortable with surgery. I had legitimate questions but what if I were a someone who had never had surgery before and was terrified about being cut open?!?!? Would they be treated the same way?!?!? Every patient has the right to ask question and be comfortable with surgery. They don't have to blindly take the word of a doctor because they went to medical school. I have too many people that I know tell me that after surgery they were worse off because they just went with what the doctor said. I was in the Army for 6 years and know a thing or two about botched surgeries. This is completely unacceptable, and I will not rest until this man is properly reprimanded for these actions. No one should ever feel bullied into having surgery or chastised for questioning a doctor's diagnosis. EVER!!!!

Getting to the location they let us get in a little early and get stays done. We were taken to a room and only had to wait for a few minutes before the doctor came in. Dr.Da Silva came in and was very nice and was able to hear what happened and what we had already done. He knew what we thought the next step was and was in agreement with us as well. I had a brace and he was able to have someone fit it properly but it was a great brace he had said. We are working on getting the MRI done and having a follow-up appointment with him to see what the next steps are going forward. The ladies at the front were very nice and welcoming we never had to wait for more tehna like a few minutes which was very helpful. I have never loved going to the doctors before but the nurses were very caring and went slow and explained everything to me as we went.
