Karen White loves to berate patients and ask about payments out loud, embarrassing everyone, she tried to claim I never had insurance and would have to pay the full amount, I did have insurance, and I did not let that slide. When I was on the phone with my step dad figuring out what we're doing for payment (since no one told us we'd have to pay BEFORE), I told her as an adult, I will come to her with the information she needs when I have it. I was already stressed out and was crying because I needed this procedure. She then turned around and yelled at me "it's MY job to bother you!" while my step dad was on the phone, he heard everything. My family have been customers here for 20+ years. Karen really lived up to her name, because as someone who studied to be a nurse and has her EKG certification, as well as practice/ing in CNA, it's NOT OUR job as healthcare professionals to stress out a patient before a big procedure. Gross people, with no empathy or patience, for a practice that REQUIRES just that. They don't deserve YOUR money. Don't let them scam you, "your insurance doesn't cover that". Yet at the end of the day, instead of 3k, we paid 656. read more
