My nephew was taken here today and the dr was super rude. He didn't take my concerns serious and kept repeating the same things. He was talking to us like we were stupid and didn't understand what he was saying. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KID HERE. He is super aggressive and seems money hungry. If you care for you child's wellbeing don't come here. He's suppose to be a pediatrician but has no bed side manner. read more

I had a newborn baby and his insurance carrier was giving me a hassle, the front desk girls were so helpful and understanding the helped me fix the issue with my insurance. The Dr I saw was great really took the time to examine my baby fully and answered all my questions. She gave me great pointers since I'm a new mom. read more

If you have the option to go to another provider please do you and your child a favor and do so. The lack of preparedness this clinic displays is unbelievable. I brought my daughter for her two month vaccines and after being there for an hour, undressed her, & made her overall uncomfortable, they notify me that they're out of stock of her vaccine. That should have been told to me from the beginning so I could have been given the option to reschedule. The fact that they wanted me to bring my INFANT multiple times without any regard of the pain it causes her is unbelievable, healthcare providers are supposed to care for their patients. read more

Not even when you tell the staff that you had to take your Granddaughter to the emergency room the day before do they allow you to bring her in for a follow up. I told the staff that she is on pain and all the staff wanted to do is schedule her for the following week for an appointment!! Why even bother with this place! I'll just take her back to the E.R. These women that answer the phones need to learn professional phone etiquette! Was put on a long hold. As soon as she answers she asks me for a number then between her and another female they start chitchatting. She comes back to me then try's to explain what I need to do. Clearly I don't understand her explanation maybe if she spoke professionally I would. I would not take any of my grandchildren there. Maybe the Doctor is fabulous but dear Lord work on your staff. I was so pleased with the quality of care at Palmdale Pediatric Center! I brought my daughter in for her first appointment at their office expecting to be there for an hour and a half or more just for a simple checkup, and we were in and out in under 45 minutes! They got us into the back before I'd even finished filling out her paperwork! Better than that, we absolutely LOVED their Physician's Assistant, Gretchen Falkerson! She was so sensitive in addressing the sometimes delicate concerns of a 12 year old girl and I was so grateful for her attentive bedside manner! The nurses and office staff were all very friendly and courteous and they were not crowded or overbooked like many of the Medi-Cal friendly pediatric offices I've visited. I highly recommend them and will be making appointments for my other 2 children to visit as well. read more

This place is upsetting, I like to give the benefit of the doubt and my first visit was rushed, I assumed they were busy. The doctor left the room so fast I had to get him back inside to be able to ask a question. Today, we went in, I asked questions in regards to these little things that started growing on my son's leg. he looked at them, and simply said they'll fall off when he turns 4. Honestly, that's not a sufficient answer for me, he never asked where or how he got them, not even how long he's had them. I do not recommend this place to anyone and I really feel they don't care about their patients. read more

Took our 15 month old here for a check up and it was a really positive experience. The staff was very friendly and getting checked in was easy due to all the paperwork being on an ipad. We didn't wait long after our appointment time to be taken back and seen. The nurses were all very nice and obviously knew their jobs. Dr. Khamis was great. Our daughter was happy and smiling at him during the whole exam. Speaking of, the exam was thorough and very professional. Dr. Khamis was great about answering all our dumb parent questions with patients and a smile. I would easily give them 5 stars if the actual building they were in was a bit nicer. It's not dirty or anything just a bit outdated. Over all a very good experience. We are making Palmdale pediatric center our full time pediatrician. read more

Dr. Shariff if I spelled that right idk I didn't bother to check the spelling. Well to me he seems quite fair, answers questions ... was thorough on check ups. I did like his service but the wait time honestly can be a pain!!! Wait time is never really known in this office. You can be seen within 30 minutes to 2 hours! For a appointment ... for walk ins every more crazier time. The office is quite small. So I would prefer only the parent and child going but I understand some have to bring all 9 of their kids! It gets real crowded. If time were better I would mind the small room but overall it's not the best. Does accept medical. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone! They could careless what you have going on they just want you in and out of there. I took my son in on a Friday because he was throwing up, and the nurse practitioner who saw him (k. Pasilaban) diagnosed him with an ear infection and prescribed an antibiotics that my son is allergic to that I didn't give to him because I wasn't convinced my son had an ear infection.The next day my son woke up with severe stomach pain and we rushed to the emergency room where they did a cat scan and it came back that he had appendicitis and no ear infection. I called them to let them know what happened and how they miss diagnosed my son and the girl on the phone could careless told me to be there early Friday if I wanted to be seen by the actual doctor. Didn't show any kind of remorse or concern! Hope this could help the next child from a medical emergency read more

If I could take stars away I would! Why you may ask? HORRIBLE SERVICE! If you are sick you are better off going to the ER or Urgent Center - they will see you faster! Not Kidding! My husband took my daughter with foot pain for a follow up and a referral. We took our daughter to the ER they did Xray and confirmed a small fracture on her heel. Took her to Khamis and they referred her to a Dermatologist instead of a orthopedic! I found out when I got to the dr! Took a day off from work and when I got there the lady at the front desk told me that they couldn't see her. I called the DR Khamis and the lady that answered the phone told me that is what the Dr. had wrote down so I told her well then you guys switched the charts because my daughter does not have any skin problem she is 7. She responded well may be she had acne. my response was "she is 7 years old, she does not have acne on her face". The lady was not listening! told me well acne doesn't have to be on her face it could be on her body... at that point I knew that there was no hope. so I just told her to submit the referral for the correct dr. called the medical group explained what happened. Stayed on the phone waiting for the Dr's office to submit the referral (2.5 hours on the phone waiting for them to submit the referral) I waited a week for the referral and today(3/2/20) just received the referral and Guess what!? it is still WRONG!!! it is fucking still wrong! They referred her to an orthopedic for OLDER PEOPLE! THEY DO NOT TREAT KIDS!! I AM NOT KIDDING, I WISH I WAS!! Another 2 hours on the phone waiting for them to send the referral. Hoping that Next week my daughter can be seen. Yes another fucking week. Please do not take your most precious treasures to this doctor, I have seen reviews where the kids are being prescribed penicillin when they are allergic. I am both surprised and glad that no one has died because of the poor ethical messes that this office has. How can the government pay this office when they are obviously not following the correct procedures. I do not know if the dr is aware or if he is just sham just like the "nurses" running the office. I am beyond dissatisfied with this doctor and the staff. Save yourself the heartache, headache and time and find another doctor. read more

Ok so I call this office today to find out when the Dr's first available appt. A female I spoke with named "Lucy" said she had no way of knowing that. That she would need an Ins. ID# first to tell me when was the 1st avail appt. After informing her that I spoke with the insurance co. And they were the one who provided me with the docs ofc number and said this was the clinic my kid is assigned to. I also explained to this female that I didn't have that ID# at the time. However based on the Dr's avalibilty would determine if I even needed to go forward with an appt. Since my daughter has been ill for about a week now and getting worse, and if she couldn't be seen the day of or tomorrow I would go to urgent care. Still this Lucy female insists that she was unaware of the Dr's avalibilty. I requested speaking with an ofc manager or supervisor whom she said was, "Joann" and un available. I find it hard to believe that the person answering the phone of a medical clinic is unaware of docs availability. I will definitely be calling the network back to switch dr whom my daughter has been assigned to since 2014. I'm giving this place a one star because there's nothing less than a 1 that I can give. The receptionist is the face of a business. And I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I have had the same pediatrician for all 4 of my children for the past ten years and even though it was usually a long wait the service was worth it. With that being said I recently moved to the Palmdale area and chose Palmdale Pediatric Center as the new pediatrician. Off the bat the staff there is very lazy, half the time no one is at the front desk (this comes from several visits to this office), they take forever to give you a follow up appointment, and if you are a walk in be prepared to spend half the work day there. The rooms are very messy and the worse part of all is the doctor is dirty as well. Not once has he washed his hands or worn gloves when examining my children. That is extremely gross. I do admit he is great at diagnosing and is what I consider to be an expert pediatrician but I have never encountered a doctor who wipes his nose, puts the tissue in his pocket, then asks a child to open wide. Disgusting. I draw the line here and will be looking for a new pediatrician. read more

I honestly love this place . When I call to make appointments they are very quick and the appointments are not like months later. They know my kids names when I arrive. I have been coming here for 3 years. And when my second child was born the doctor himself had went to the hospital to do a check up on my daughter. I've taken my two boys here for over a year never did I have a problem but one day I visited it when I was worried sick about my kids .I got super upset my two kids are were sick took them in as a walk in I was waiting for an hour finally when it was almost my turn the nurse said Bez it was to late they were going to lunch time I'm guessing the dr had told her that he can only seen one on my kids .....I was so dissapointed ....because I thought to myself I thought the dr really cared about my children's well being but I was so wrong !!!!when the nurse told me that it shocked I told her why ....and she said that's what the dr had told her I couldnt believe I had to choose between my kids ...I was in chocked ....because they were both super I'll with fever and cough...finally when I went in and asked him why he couldn't see both ...(in my mind I thought he only takes like 2min the most to see them anyway we would only take the most at least 5 min ).... He started explaining that he had so many walk in and that he had so many patients .....and because of this I decided I will never take my kids there anymore the dr doesn't care about their well being ...his always very rushed and even if you have an appointment you will be seen 2 hours later and the nurses a few are nice and some of them are so unprofessional and rude I would not recommend this dr to anyone .... read more
