Beware! Scammers!! I took my vehicle in for an alignment. I was quoted roughly a 100$ for a 4 wheel alignment. Shortly after I gave them my keys, I was told I needed a camber kits to complete the alignment and out the door it was now going to cost me 350$$!! This did not seem right..and so when I rejected their estimate --I was still charged 20$ for them to "check." Which by the way was never told to me or on any written estimate that they would still charge me something. (Shady) So I ended up taking my vehicle else where to which I was pleasantly surprised when I was quoted only 80$ for a 4 wheel alignment. And when I was told my vehicle was ready; to my amazement the guy told me he could only charge me 45$ - because I only need the front aligned!!! The rear was fine!! UNBELIEVABLE THAT FIRESTONE PALMDALE WAS GOING TO RIP ME OFF FOR UNNECESSARY REPAIRS!!!! read more

We had to stop here on our way to Bishop from La bc our car was shaking after getting an alignment at a different Firestone in LA. From the moment DJ answered the phone I felt comfortable going there. He and the rest of the guys were friendly and honest and professional. Things that shouldn't be rare today but are. While we were there we learned this is a 3rd generation run business and it made sense that they took pride in their place. Dropped off vehicle at Walker & Sons because of coolant leak, next thing I am being told I need two back tires because metal is coming through - my friend is using the old tires they are still good. Was also told the brakes and rotors shot. Following week I got on the freeway, the "Check Engine Light" went on and car started to vibrate. I took the car to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Newhall. Results: Brake fluid was dirty and had not been changed when Walker & Sons did supposed brake and rotor job. Reason for "Check Engine Light" Thermostat was not functioning properly, wrong one for a Volvo. Reason for vibration: Tires improperly balanced. Walker & Sons and their Rep D.J. can claim whatever they want. Bottom line I paid for services done incorrectly, incompletely, unnecessary PLUS I had to pay twice because I had to pay Newhall Firestone to redo the botched job. Also, I had taken vehicle into Walker & Sons a few times before this to have them check front right tire that seemed to leak air. They never could find a leak. Newhall Firestone found the leak and fixed it. If you are into incompetence, lack of integrity, have money to burn then Walker & Sons is for you. If you need documentation on this I have it. My third time taking my car there the first two times were good the third time was not good. I brought it in at 2pm didn't get it back till 5:30 I put new tires on my car, and did the alignment. Afterwards the steering wheel was shaking at 65 miles an hour and no valve caps. So had to return the next day to find out they didn't do my alignment and couldn't fix my shaking steering wheel. I told them it wasn't shaking till i put the new wheels on. Also paid for a full inspection on my AC system since it wasn't working. He charge per pounds to refill it. I told him I had already refilled last year and there's something wrong to have to refill it again. He then told me to come back a week later to see if its leaking which I thought was weird. But still charge per pound. Will not go there again read more

Bad service. They try to scam you, be careful or other wise you're going to be paying for parts that you don't need.

I took my car here for a four wheel alignment after installing new tires. My wife drives the  car 0.8 miles to and 0.8 miles back from work 5 days out of the week. I happen to use the car the third day after the alignment and notice the car pulling to the right.  My wife didn't notice because she hasn't been a mechanic for 12 years like I have, and because in the mile she drives to work, she doesn't let go of wheel. Once I pointed it out, she noticed that it was pulling to the right and we needed to get it checked right away. We're so busy throughout the week we had to wait until next weekend, I went back and spoke to DJ. I asked him if he could recheck my alignment because it was slightly pulling to the right. He told me it's not their responsibility if the alignment goes out of adjustment. He tried to sell me the lifetime wheel alignment package after I already paid 69 bucks! I told him, so you're not going to recheck it. He told me no because maybe you went over a pothole or something? Really?! I just got the adjustment a week ago, I would understand if it was maybe a month or two that went by, but what are the chances in just one week of driving that the alignment would be so bad. So I just walked out!.. I do not recommend this place for anybody! They don't care about their customers and their safety! Very poor customer service. I went to a different place across the street and got it done cheaper, they even told me the alignment was way off. Smh! read more
