The meeting went well and the person that showed up at my house was nice and polite. The problem was that I felt as if I had to chase the person in order to get my bid. They stated that they had to go out of town and I would get the bid when they returned. So I received the bid 7 days after my appointment and 5 days after all the other bids. The price of the concrete was a fair price but I decided to go with another company because of the time frame I needed. Perhaps next project I can use this company.

Prior to posting my original 3-star review, I had already made multiple attempts to rectify this issue directly. For context, my baseline purchase was $4,000, and we had planned to spend an additional $5,000 (totaling $9,000) to add 15 Myrtle trees once the fencing was completed. Thankfully, we now know to take our business elsewhere. Before I posted the 3-star review, I was told by Austin that the manager, Bret, would be reaching out to me. That never happened--so I went ahead and posted the review. Only after that, on Monday, 5/20, did Bret finally text me and schedule a call for Tuesday, 5/21. He never called. I had to reach out at the end of the day and was met with the same excuse I had heard before: "We got so busy." That excuse was also given the last time I communicated to ask why no one had contacted me in the first place. In my text response, I clearly said I had given them every opportunity to make things right, but it was evident this wasn't going to happen. At that point, I requested a refund for the items that were ordered but not yet delivered. Bret finally agreed to issue the refund via text on 5/21--but as of today, 5/25, I have yet to receive it. In the meantime, I've sourced replacement roses from another nursery. I originally asked Moon Valley to retrieve the incorrectly colored roses that were planted despite my specific communication. I've received no response or direction on that matter, so I'll be relocating them to the wooded area behind my home. I want to reiterate that Austin and the planting crew did a good job with what they were tasked to do. Unfortunately, management's lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic follow-through has turned what could have been a positive, long-term relationship into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. As of today, still no refund. Side note - Austin you need to open your own business. You will ruin your credibility with this company. Original Review Here's why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5: Austin, the salesperson, is the reason I committed to this company. He selected the best plants for my yard, provided thoughtful advice, and offered excellent service--he absolutely deserves 5 stars. The planting team also did a great job with the three trees, 21 shrubs, 3 roses, and 1 potted Calamondin tree, so I would give them 4 stars for their execution. I'm deducting one star for the crew accidentally hitting the AT&T line during planting. While it caused inconvenience, I understand it had rained the days before and the orange marking was likely faint--so I can be fair about that. The biggest disappointment--and the reason this is a 3-star review--is with Moon Valley's inventory, planning, and poor communication. I was never notified that the full order wouldn't be delivered on May 13, and I only found out from the planters on-site. The roses that did arrive were the small size (I ordered big at $65 a piece and look big when I saw in store - see photo on what I got planted - is that big to you?) and wrong color (pink instead of white). What made this worse is that the rescheduled planting for the missing items was pushed out nearly a month, with no effort to prioritize us on schedule to rectify their inventory issue--despite it being due to their own poor planning. Great sales experience and solid planting work, but the lack of communication and accountability from the rest of the company really took away from what should have been a smooth process.

I contacted 5 different contractors - all who provided a bid for the exact same work! Some bids we got were outrageous.... but after reviewing all five contractors - we decided to go with Sisneros Fence! Roberto provided his bid timely.. made suggestions and most importantly COMMUNICATED with me in a timely manner! While he was not the least expensive, his pricing was VERY reasonable! We chose Sisneros Fence and could NOT BE HAPPIER! They did a PHENOMENAL JOB! We added privacy fence along the back of the property and part of the sides and then we put in decorative iron gates at the front. From start to finish the entire job went perfect and took only 2 days! Roberto even came back to re-inspect after his crew and to verify that we were happy with the job! SOOO happy Cristian responded to our review in the manner that he did -- perfectly shows who he and his company is, what they stand for, and what awaits you as a homeowner. 1) Admits that one of HIS EMPLOYEES DID make those promises to us. This is the only reason we decided to move forward with the job -- "nothing will scratch this product". Particularly our dogs and entry foot traffic. If we would've been told that there was ANY risk of scratches, we would've never moved forward and co toned looking for other treatments. We were deceived. 2) "Employee is no longer with us" Just because you fired someone one later, doesn't mean that the promises (lies), and work (mess) they did while representing your company magically go away. It was your employee, working under your name, take accountability, that's business. 3) "Sorry we couldn't keep your dog from scratching your floor" Again, dodging accountability and flipping the blame back to the homeowner. Outrageous statement to make after having admitted that his employee did make promises of "nothing will scratch this product", and us having specifically asked about - dogs, shoes, rocks, and dragging furniture. But what he will tell you now is, "you should've known". As if the homeowner is expected to be the expert. Extremely childish. 4) Despite whatever he may say now, IN WRITING, he agreed to pay back 50% of the job ($2500) over 10 months. And after 5 months, only $200 has been paid. He will dodge every call, every text, and when you do finally reach him, he will LIE and say "oh yes, I'll send it right now" , and then have you start the monthly chase cycle again. He made this agreement himself. Not a former employee. So what's the excuse now? Yet another example of Cristian and his company failing in their promises and commitments.

DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORK…read more Sure, they may sucker you in with their deceptive professionalism and competitive pricing and responsiveness. But once you have hired them for more than one job, you'll see their real deal. They are SHADY and lazy. They would STEAL one of my steel T-posts after I told them no when they asked for one multiple times while they were working on my yard (I had several lying around). Only reason why I found out was because I needed to borrow one of their tools after they were about finished and they pointed me to one of their trailers, and the dad thought I'd caught him so he handed me my T-post from his trailer. Let me explain the LAZY part. I'd told them specifically to grind the crepe myrtle roots and stumps really well after they cut them down, because I knew too well how invasive these can be. They said sure sure. Days later and now 4 months later, I'm still dealing with all the huge roots left from the crepe myrtles and bushes they left me with because they were too lazy to grind them well. I also think it's partly because they didn't want to dull their machine etc. Reason why I say that is because I'd asked them 3-4 times while they were working to GIVE ME THE MULCH from the stump grinding etc. They said OK OK. At the end, they gave me nothing. I asked them, where's my mulch...They were like, how much you want? Then reluctantly scooped up a wheelbarrow or two at like 7pm...then said they'd give me pure mulch from their jobs later on (didn't want to stay later). I said, why didn't you grind them and give me the mulch while you were working? Kevin said they didn't want to use their machine too much. So, there you go. They did two jobs for me, over $2000 each time. I spent pretty pennies on them and that's what I got. I debated for a long time whether I should write this because I wanted to let bygones be bygones and not ruin someone's business but I'm too upset. And the world needs to know the truth. You, their potential customers, should know. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE.
