Just wanted to show my appreciation again. I was looking for a Brahea Armata for my parkway. These are hard to find ! Was going to pick one up in OC, but the guy didn't want to sell me one as they are root sensitive. Sir, I am aware, & I just planted a bismarckia in my front yard which is now thriving ! Anyways, picked up a 15 gallon for $75. The service is always so professional here. No heavy lifting required. The workers tied up the fronds & plastic wrapped the pot so my car stays clean. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for rare harder to find palm trees for their landscaping projects. read more

I found this place by referral from a family member. Elsa is very knowledgeable about all the different palms in their nursery and pleasant to talk to. She walked me and my brother through the property and showed me all the palm trees I was looking for. Great prices and they also deliver for a fair fee. Will definitely be back for a few more palms for my property. Highly recommend for hard to find palms. Large selection of Foxtail palms in the IE. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with customer service. They were unhelpful, unprofessional, and showed little interest in resolving my issue. Communication was poor, and I felt ignored instead of being treated like a valued customer. I expected much better service. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. read more

We had a very positive first visit to Palm Plantation. We drove up from San Diego and met Mike, the owner, who was very friendly. Then we toured the grounds with Elsa, who was knowledgeable, kind, and patient, we couldn't have asked for a better person to help us. The grounds were spotless and well organized, and they even offered complimentary water and iced tea. The plant stock was extremely healthy. We went intending to buy only a cycad but ended up purchasing both a cycad and a Traveler's Palm. We would have bought more, but our SUV couldn't fit another plant! As for pricing, it was very reasonable considering the quality of the plants and the excellent service. We'll definitely be back to purchase more cycads. Will and Arwa read more

Very unprofessional service" on the day I purchased 3 palms. The employee mishandled one Palm dropping (Elsa- witnessed this incident ) while loading my newly purchased palms. The Palm mishandled, picture attached is dying' while the other two not mishandled are doing well. Called Elsa's husband to resolve this, he stated he would not guarantee as he didn't plant the palm. Rudely hung up on me. Follow up text to Elsa and no response to resolve this dying Palm issue. " No where on their website do you they state guaranteed only if they plant" Be careful totally unprofessional at this location. Great service, Elsa is fantastic and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend these guys if you looking for hard to find palms and exotics.

My boyfriend and I came here today (Saturday) after hearing that they had a very large selection of palms. We were not disappointed. Palms of all shapes colors and sizes. We searched on our own for while with colored flags marking out which ones we wanted. We then met up with the owner, mike who wrote down the names and prices. We suggest taking pictures of the palms to show him which ones because this place is huge and if you're getting a bunch of them you will have a hard time remembering exactly where they were. Mike knows the palm just by looking at it. After picking our thirteen palms, the employees hauled them over to our truck and loaded them up perfectly. We spent half the day here so be prepared to spend some time. Couldn't have asked for better service and the tropical vibes sent me back to Hawaii. read more

My new favorite place! If your are looking for palm trees, you've come to the right place. They have just about every variety of palm tree, with a range of sizes. I was tired of buying palm trees at Home Depot and having them struggle to survive in our hot summer climate. At Palm Plantation they grow all their palms from seeds in Riverside so they are acclimated to the harsh summers. Mike and Elsa are very helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Wonderful place to find unique palms not easily found at other locations. They have a healthy selection of palms to choose from. I'll admit it feels sketchy driving to a place to purchase palm trees in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but the small staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. Don't be turned away by the hours posted on yelp... They're actually open almost everyday, but calling ahead is a good idea... read more

Palm Plantation - Small Madagascar Palms - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Riverside, California

My husband and I had gone to several local nurseries searching for some palms to replace some in our yard that had broken limbs. We couldn't find any that we liked that weren't real expensive. Finally my husband searched the internet and found "Palm Plantation" and it had great reviews! It was worth the hour and a half drive! We were amazed at the variety and amount of palms they have there! We were warmly greeted by an employee and she escorted us throughout the plantation searching for what we wanted. The palms are beautiful and the prices were very reasonable! We ended up purchasing 3 and we would have bought more if we had the room. They even wrapped the palms very securely and loaded them into our vehicle. We highly recommend the "Palm Plantation" to everyone who loves palm trees! It's definitely a 5 Star business! read more

A high-quality, well-priced palm tree nursery that is conveniently located close to home without having to make the long, out of the way drive down to San Diego! The palms that Palm Plantation carries are in excellent health, beautiful and available in multiple sizes. The selection is wonderful too...Southern California needs a nursery that carries interesting palms...there are SO MANY varieties of palm trees from all over the world that thrive in Southern California and Palm Plantation has them. I went there to buy a couple of Royal Palms, but ended up purchasing four additional palms as I just couldn't resist! The prices are incredibly reasonable too!! I highly recommend this nursery!!! read more

If you are looking for a palm tree this is the place! Elsa who works there is amazing! She answered all of our questions and helped us pick the best trees for our house. The nursery is a best kept secret. They have so many different options to choose from. Do not go to Home Depot for a palm. Go here instead. The trees here is grown from seed and is use to our climate unlike the trees from Home Depot. The price of the trees are very fair as well. P.s they have many different sizes from baby to full 25 plus ft trees and many different exotic trees. read more

I was looking high and low for king palms, and found Palm Plantation on a forum in Palm Talk. When I contacted the nursery Elsa texted me answers to all my questions, and made excellent suggestions. I took her suggestion and bought 3 Cuban royal palms. When I came to pick them up she helped me picked the best from the lot. Her workers loaded them in my vehicle; I didn't lift a finger. This was great because I had a bad back. From the beginning contact until the purchase overall service was excellent. The best part is Elsa. She is a fount of knowledge. You can buy palms anywhere but if you want to buy the palms that are best and most suitable for your particular requirements you should talk to Elsa at the Palm Plantation in Riverside. read more

This wonderful place has everything you could be looking for with regards to rare and unusual palms and cycads. We had the pleasure to be greeted by Elsa who was just simply fantastic!! Recently made a trip to palm plantation. All the plants are extremely healthy and well cared for. Some of the specimen plants they have are one of a kind. The service is top notch and the crew will expertly load your vehicle, trailer, or truck. I believe they also offer delivery if needed. The staff is very knowledgeable. I would give them more than 5 stars if possible. Highly recommended and will definitely be back for more plants in the future. Thank you for my wonderful plants :) read more
