The club has plans to expand to at least four teams and is holding tryouts for players born between '97 and '01 throughout May '12. He and we, his parents, have nothing but positive to say about the experience. We were a struggling team suffering from inconstant coaching for years. In one season, Demingo took us from mid-table to winning our division. Now we are playing up and enjoying the challenge of it. As far as fees, compare them to any other pay club in the San Antonio -- and Austin, for that matter -- club and you'll be surprised that RCFC is the least expensive of the lot, which came as a complete surprise. A real value. The kids learn quickly and grow as people along the way. We've had mixed experience with other clubs along the way -- literally being taught to cheat to win or being yelled at in an utterly non-helpful manner -- but again, it's all been positive since our switch to RCFC.

We spent two years with this club and it was nothing but frustration. The owner repeatedly asks for money from the parents, despite them having already paid a full years' dues, only to pocket almost every penny. Hence the reason he was constantly needing more money from the parents. How he is still in business is a mystery. This club is a farce.

It's a very kid friendly spot there are shallow, rocky areas that make it feel a lot safer for kids so you don't have to worry as much about them falling in. We didn't end up catching anything, but there are definitely fish in the pond so it's still a great place for some casual fishing. There's also a playground and a basketball court, which makes it a nice little community park to spend some time outdoors.

I caution anyone considering enrolling their child in the Cheer program that it will not live up to…read morethe hype. We enrolled our 7-year old with the expectation that she would be taught the principles of cheer (I.e., conditioning, composure, technique, etc). The coaches lack enthusiasm and have limited skills interacting with children. Program administrators do little to hold coaches accountable in an effort to meet parents expectations. Their communication efforts are scant, confusing, last minute, and overall frustrating to parents who want the best experience for their children. The program is sold on the idea that children will get to cheer in 10 games for the winter season. The cheer season should have started in preparation for the basketball season, but it started after. The group we enrolled in is the "North" group and yet twice now the practices are being held at Brooks City Base, over 25 miles from home. Considering the practices are during the week, after work and school, it is not feasible and a closer, alternative site should have been provided. Today, we received an email from the coach stating there would be no cheer at a game this Saturday as she has another appointment. It begs the question that the organization doesn't have a back up plan to cover the coach's absence so as not to negatively impact the children's opportunity to perform. I am resigned to the fact that the $150 fee we paid is the cost of a lesson learned for us not to engage in business with them again

This softball complex is terrible for multiple reasons. Trash everywhere, you have to pay to get in…read moreAFTER you've already paid league/tournament fees, holes in the fields, uneven ground. I've played 2 tournaments here in the past month and I cannot believe how disgusting this place is. I ran poles to warm up and there are large piles of trash in both corners of the field. TRASH on the actual FIELD. It's like even the groundskeepers/maintenance workers take no pride in their work. Garbage all in the parking lots, beer cans, gatorade bottles, candy bar wrappings, beer cases (boxes); it's a dump. Then you have to pay cash to come in, whether you're a player or not, and you have to keep up with this little ticket so you can get in and out. There's even a sign on the front that says, "League night players, $2" Really? You pay league night fees then have to pay more to just get in? Then the fields themselves are just terrible. I'd be interested to see their accident report at the end of the year because I'm certain many players have twisted an ankle stepping in whole, or been hit in the face with the ball due to a bad hop off a hill in the field. I will say the bathrooms are typical and they had plenty of soap and toilet paper. Not exceptionally clean, but not as disgusting as one might expect.
