The medal is supposed to be based on a different value each week, so it's easy to reward the not so stand out players for showing patience, teamwork, etc. Coaching is done by the parent volunteers, so that's always a toss up. B) They collect "Gym Improvement Fees" and yet have made zero improvements since I've been here. There is probably still a hole in the matt below the squat rack to this date. C) They intentionally make it IMPOSSIBLE to leave your membership. I provided proof that I had moved more than 50 miles away from a gym. They made me turn in a copy of a lease. Yet, they STILL wanted to charge me for the next month, PLUS cancellation fee. An extra $80 to leave a gym I don't even have access to. Not to mention, their sly "bi-weekly" language charged me 3 times in December. Gyms like this one are the reason FTC laws had to be put in place for fair and easy options to leave gyms. Please protect your mental sanity and avoid this gym!

She has questionable coaching skills but uses the platform of "coach" to hide her maltreatment of girls which includes public demeaning, uncontrollable shouting, negative criticism, and she plays favorites with play time. We paid $3000 for our child to be on this team and it has been a complete disasterous experience for our entire family. I would strongly recommend avoiding this volleyball club to protect your child from serious emotional abuse by the current coach (TCVA 15-Black team). We reported the coach's unprofessional and bullying behavior to the director, who has done absolutely nothing. The purported mission posted on their website is a major misleading statement; they really seem to only be interested in your hard earned money. My advice: strongly consider your invest in this terrible organization (TCVA) as this will absolutely be the last time we deal with TCVA.

I figured it be more for kids but seemed more adults than children. My daughter and I tried the workout machines after waiting to use them. While working out we had this creepy old man just stare the whole time. He was sitting at the tables right in front of work out machines. Not sure if he was medicated or what but made my 13 year old uncomfortable. We moved to the other side where the weights are for a few minutes but I can still tell it was bothering her so we left. Only went ONE day and never came back. It took me days trying to locate where to cancel membership online only to finally call days before months over for them to tell me I have to go in person to do it. Finally got the chance to go after being busy at work and it's the end of the month and they tell me it takes 30 days to cancel mind you I didn't even have a full month of membership to cancel. I sign the paperwork and turn in my membership keycards. Mind you didn't realize I could still use them for another month until when Racheal from the local YMCA reaches out with wanting more information on why my child felt uncomfortable. Explained the situation of what happened. She informed me someone was going to reach out to me and nothing. I "should" have access for this month to go but why would I return to a place my child felt uncomfortable!!
