They provide medals every week which are handed out by the coach after the game. The medal is supposed to be based on a different value each week, so it's easy to reward the not so stand out players for showing patience, teamwork, etc. Coaching is done by the parent volunteers, so that's always a toss up. There is no where for anyone to go unless you are playing on the courts. A tiny walkway around the perimeter forces anyone who is walking, to pretty much walk through someone's game. Safety hazard for everyone. There is not even a hallway for players to wait or eat. No where. Nothing. Concession stand sells strictly junk. And is practically on the court. You could probably yell in an order while playing a game from the court. On top of that, the volleyball courts are designed where one side of the court goes right up to the wall. What??? The other side has a set of tiny bleachers for people who are sitting ducks for a wayward volleyball to come and smack them right in the face. This makes no sense. At all. What in the world. Makes for a pretty miserable experience, especially on a hot Texas day. Air conditioning could not keep up. Players were heated and tired. Parking is not able to handle large tournaments. Stay away if possible.

It's not huge but bigger than most in the area. It's also regularly cleaned, which says something about the owner and/or management. It has all the equipment I use and need, to include a stairclimber, which is only in about 50% of other AFs in the NE SA area. That said, its free of excessive equipment straps, boxes, and clutter that frequently collect dust and fill up every corner in others AFs. As a traveller for work, I visit many others AFs across the country and this location is consistent with the size, quality equipment and facilities I expect. No complaints and much praise.

Avoid this crooked business at all cost…read more A) The gym itself is micro, and constantly out of order. Nobody racks anything here, and the management is too terrible to do it themselves. B) They collect "Gym Improvement Fees" and yet have made zero improvements since I've been here. There is probably still a hole in the matt below the squat rack to this date. C) They intentionally make it IMPOSSIBLE to leave your membership. I provided proof that I had moved more than 50 miles away from a gym. They made me turn in a copy of a lease. Yet, they STILL wanted to charge me for the next month, PLUS cancellation fee. An extra $80 to leave a gym I don't even have access to. Not to mention, their sly "bi-weekly" language charged me 3 times in December. Gyms like this one are the reason FTC laws had to be put in place for fair and easy options to leave gyms. Please protect your mental sanity and avoid this gym!

She has questionable coaching skills but uses the platform of "coach" to hide her maltreatment of girls which includes public demeaning, uncontrollable shouting, negative criticism, and she plays favorites with play time. We paid $3000 for our child to be on this team and it has been a complete disasterous experience for our entire family. I would strongly recommend avoiding this volleyball club to protect your child from serious emotional abuse by the current coach (TCVA 15-Black team). We reported the coach's unprofessional and bullying behavior to the director, who has done absolutely nothing. The purported mission posted on their website is a major misleading statement; they really seem to only be interested in your hard earned money. My advice: strongly consider your invest in this terrible organization (TCVA) as this will absolutely be the last time we deal with TCVA.
