We bought a home from Palm Harbor this past November. The purchasing process itself went smoothly, and Mark was great during the sale. Unfortunately, once the deal was finalized, the level of service dropped off considerably. Anything that needed attention after closing seemed to be pushed aside or ignored. Hello first I'd like to say how we bought a trailer with palm harbor almost 3 months ago we're moved in and settled but within these months we have not gotten our keys to Our home they have not fulfilled there end of the deal by finishing out trims in the trailer they're liars do not buy from this place they push you and nag you every day to get there sales they were so responsive to us on the get go saying yes let's get this and that done so we can close out and as soon as we were good to go they didn't reply to us they never sent any people out to come help us with our keys and trim nothing palm harbor is a joke and they know who they are Sam and Jose do not buy from this place. read more

Worked with rep a year ago and were quoted a price for a home with an added cost of having a metal roof added. We were not ready to proceed at that time and appreciated the non- pushy sales approach. Now, we're ready and the quote increased by 25K WITH them throwing in the metal roof we wanted for "FREE." The math is simply not "mathing" even with their excuse of the "rising cost of materials." read more

Just moved into my "brand new home". The floor is a mess we have paint splatter all over along with glue and scratches from the appliances being brought in. The floor tile was placed by someone who obviously didn't care about the quality of the work. The tile is lifting all over the home. The tile in the kitchen and bathrooms looks like it was a rushed job. I have contacted their corporate office and called them as well with no success! I have photos to back up my review. We waited almost 5 months for this home. We are extremely disappointed and discussed with Palm Harbor. Go somewhere else don't wait your time. Me and my wife purchased a Doublewide manufactured home in Elmendorf Texas. We were looking for something but didn't know what exactly we were doing. We knew what we wanted and we're a little intimidated. But when we walked in into this Palm Harbor store we were greeted by Hunter Sauls. I thought this guy was just going to try to SELL me something. So I explain to him what I wanted and what features I was looking for. We were looking for a drywall four bedroom two bath big enough for our family. There are other mobile homes that do offer the same rooms and bathrooms but we specifically wanted the drywall finished. And we wanted to add some of the bells and whistle's like tile countertops paint color in rooms doorhandlesSkirting made from stone. So we explain this to him and he built us a Home exactly how we wanted it. Of course to meet our expectations and set our expectations to something that he could do we had to negotiate on some of the features but overall we won. We had to learn to trust Hunter. We had to learn about what buying was about. And Hunter taught us the facts and truth and got us the very best deal. We thought it was a very long process and we thought that we were going to be unhappy or unsatisfied but Hunter and Palm Harbor and Elmendorf made sure that we got everything we wanted and we understood everything that we were doing so all in all this was a very good experience buying from Palm Harbor the product that we ended up getting was 100% everything we expected. With some reasonable expectations and negotiations. But that doesn't take away from the home I have. These homes are no longer built like the 1960s mobile home. These are manufactured homes they use HUD code building code and there are standard sit. And the house is very nice it looks just like a house on the inside and the outside. I went here with a no bullshit attitude but was very respectful. I walked in and asked the first salesman that approached me if they had a 28' by 44' home on the lot that I could look at. Another guy comes out and say of course we do. Show him the ones we have. My salesman says I'll be right with you and goes to the managers office and 15 minutes later tells me to go see the manager. Long story short, they didn't have it and the manager started very aggressively trying to push what he had on the lot after the 3rd time I said I wanted to see inventory. Not a fucking computer screen. He was extremely persistent and had no problem expressing his frustration with me wanting to see actual ON LOT INVENTORY not a computer screen. I asked for a business card twice in his office to no avail. After showing me the home he actually had on site, which was very doable, I said I'll let you know. He pushes for a down payment and just couldn't wrap his head around the idea that I had other places to look. He said come get a card as I walked of and I replied, I've asked you twice already. I know where are and who you are. I'll be in touch. He shrugged his shoulders, threw his hands up and walked in the office. That took the home he showed me off my list.
