We bought a 2025 Double Wide Solitaire from Palm Harbor in August and it has been nothing but a BIG HEADACHE and DISASTER actually a Nightmare for us!! We bought one that was on the lot and we loved it!! We did not need ours for several months so Palm Harbor said we could leave ours on the lot as long as they could still use it as a show model. The next week we got a phone call from Palm Harbor and they had a customer that was needing the same trailer that we bought ASAP, so they asked if we would let them sell ours to the other customer and order us another one just like the one we had bought! We said that was fine as long as it was just like ours BIG MISTAKE!! They delivered and set the trailer up and it is ABSOLUTELY a BIG MESS!! This is just a few of the pictures and videos I have!! All of the trim looks like this all of the kitchen cabinets need replaced! The Warranty workers have been out 2 different times and it's still not fixed(it actually looks worse than what it started out at)! It's UNBELIEVABLE that this trailer left the Manufacturer looking like this!! Hopefully we will get this resolved soon because we are exhausted from worrying and trying to get this fixed to where it looks like a new trailer instead of a bad remodel! I've done my best not to post anything PUBLIC or POST a bad review, but this needs to be resolved! read more

This is by far the worst home we have ever spent money on. It is such poor quality. We had "tray" ceilings and they were made out of STYROFOA. The AC has never worked properly and in the beginning they wanted to cut a hole in the roof. Then we were told to take the side off the house. I've lived in my La Belle home for 1.5 years, and it's been a terrible experience--I deeply regret purchasing it. During the sales process, Crystal made us feel confident in her and the team's abilities, but after closing, they failed to deliver on their promises and ignored us when issues arose- at the end of the day they are just sales people trying to convince you to buy a home. They purposefully do this because at closing (when all paper work is being signed and down paypment given) they make you record yourself saying that anything said by any member in Palm Harbor does not hold true unless written in the papers (A LOT of what was said is not in the fine print and some things are even contradicted in the fine print) so please beware as at this pint you've invested so much time (and even money) that you're almost coerced into proceeding with the progress. We had foundation issues even after using their recommended contractors, as STRONGLY urged by Crystal and Cat. Despite their reassurances that they'd take responsibility if something went wrong by using their contractors, they refused to do so when the work was poorly executed. For example, we used Travis and the engineering drawings weren't followed, and even the permit inspector flagged this. When I brought it up to Palm Harbor, including Crystal, they denied everything and blamed us as they said they were "listening to the customer". They know it is their fault as the engineering drawings were not followed by their own choosing. I ultimately had to hire my own contractors to fix their work and pass inspection. (Oh, and thank goodness we did not use Sandra, their contractor--she quoted us double the price for half the cement that Travis did. Her work would have been incorrect as well but far worse and double the price, as her quote didn't even come close to meeting the engineering drawings. These are the people they refer to as their "most reliable experts".) Since moving in, numerous problems have surfaced: creaking floors that cause dishes to rattle (their "solution" was for me to organize my dishes more separate), sheetrock cracks, a leaking sink, poorly finished trimming, roof issues, pipe leaks, and more. While they occasionally send contractors, the work is often subpar, and some problems have worsened as a result. If you're considering a single-wide trailer, maybe you'll be okay. But for double or triple-wide homes, I strongly advise against buying from Palm Harbor. Their homes are still trailers and not stable houses as they try to make it seem, and the sales team will say anything to convince you to buy, only to disappear when issues arise. Crystal and Cat made numerous promises during the sales process, only to fail us in the end. Take note: many of the glowing reviews are from people who haven't actually lived in the homes--they're based solely on the sales experience. Don't be fooled by the smiles and reassurances during sales. Once you sign, you're on your own. read more

Absolute mistake purchasing one of thier "top of the line" homes. Not only is the brand new home horrendous, the sales team that sold it to us is an absolute joke. The home has bowed walls, windows literally falling apart, doors don't close. The sales rep sold us upgrades that don't exist. This has been the worst nightmare ever. The sales reps should be terminated. Make sure you have an attorney. You'll need one if you ever want repairs done. Scam artists and crooks. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. They are absolutely awful. My 78 year old Mom purchased a home from them after her house burned down and payed cash. The brand new mobile home had quite a bit of damage from the move to her lot. They had a horrible subcontractor try to fix some of the issues and it looks awful. This mobile home looks like no one even inspected it before it left the factory. There is missing paint everywhere. Damaged cabinets, missing parts, damaged roof and so on. They are not returning emails or phone calls. We are now looking into getting a lawyer and contacting the TV stations. My Mom payed cash for this piece of junk and it is supposed to be brand new. Worst company we have ever dealt with. Stay away and find another business for your mobile home purchase. read more

We purchased our home in 2021 it was delivered in 2022. This home has been the worst experience for us first off the team that supposed to come and fix the things when it delivered was horrible they did everything half ass! Our windows aren't sealed right when it's cold out we can feel the air coming in through the windows and not only do we feel the air coming through windows we feel it through the outlets really bad. The AC cools off our living room so cold but the master bedroom hardly gets cool and same with the heater and when the factory sent the ppl out to check it they said nothing was wrong with it. Our floors are very uneven and the furniture doesn't sit leveled!! My cabinet doors and drawer don't shut right my husband had to try fixing them! Our back door leaks every time it rains which is a complete nightmare. My front door is so uneven. The paint is so patchy looking and has a bunch of nail spots the trim is all uneven! I can go on and on! This is our first palm harbor home and it was very expensive and it's not worth the price!! We had an Oakwood home and it was excellent and the ppl that work for Oakwood were the best and fixed the house the way it was supposed to be done!! If I could do it all over I wouldn't have gone with palm harbor!! Biggest mistake EVER!!! Be careful buying one of their homes!! read more

If you are in a hurry, tight on money, or basically have any problems in your personal life don't add these guys to your list. It's one problem after another, another day until we can move in, and they will tell you whatever you want to hear to get the sell. After the sale your sales person is always out of the office, you get handed off to another sales person, the GM disappears, and you can't get a straight answer from one person. Palm Harbor Homes are great homes but the sales, customer service, and management will make your experience a nightmare. If you can get them to respond to you via text you will get generic prefabricated return messages, they don't want there to be a record of what they say. Oh you'll also notice that SUPER GM that was so awesome up front will not answer you, it's because he blocked your number. If you have any way to record your interactions via voice or video, do it! Because they will lie to you, make promises, and then deliver a home sub par that you can't live in for weeks, but hey that's not their problem! read more

I had a great experience with this center. I purchased my home here. My sales person JT,was very accommodating with my wants, needs and pocketbook. He didn't at one time try to push me over the edge on what I didn't want to spend. He was very well mannered, very professional. I am a major tight wad, I don't drop my cash that easy, and when spending anything, I am tuff to deal with. I have heavy extensive sales, in a high volume fast paced environment, so at times I am naturally aggressive. This is my nature, I mean well. This sales person, JT. dealt with this all in stride. he was very honest, straight forward and to the point. A real straight shooter. The other times I had to call in to the center, to ask questions, I felt everyone in this center was well versed, very well educated in their product they were selling. I found them all to be very honest and straight shooters, especially, my sales person JT. I am a very straight forward to the point person. They , this center was very accommodating. I also found the sale manger, GM scott salter, very accommodating every step of the way. I am a great world class complainer, I know how to bring it on the complaints. I actually was a happy camper dealing with JT & this center. I really don't' have anything at this point to complain about. However, I will come back here and give you a review on how the rest of my process goes, the set up, delivery, the rest of the services go.. Maybe I will have something here to complain about then. Go check out this center, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I did compare Palm harbors with the other dealers down the street. I found PH is the better one. It's like anything we requested fell on deaf uncaring ears. We left voicemails that were never returned, emails that were never answered, and even text messages that went no where. In one scenario, the crew putting the house together called me at our gate (we were over an hour away.). They told me to give them our gate code, and when I stated that we had valuables and another family member living on the property and that we were not comfortable without someone there during their time on the property (I even reiterated our request we left with the sales team that we wanted a phone call one hour in advance ((or anytime between one hour to a day before in advance!!!)), which the sales team did not deliver on!), the company was so brazen as to say to me that he didn't need MY permission to be on OUR property and that he didn't need the wife standing around and telling him how to do his job!!! The best part about this was that the very same company above littered all over our property!! Trash and Coke cans everywhere! This was in January, we are STILL TILLING UP COKE CANS THAT WERE BURIED IN OUR FRONT YARD!! HORRIBLE!!! Mario and Luke were THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE PROCESS THAT COMMUNICATED WITH US AND MET OUR REQUESTS! They did the inside trim. I reached out to the sales team multiple times about issues with our pad- even having to document it via photos and email since they did not respond! We were originally given the option of a crushed concrete pad (which somehow disappeared in the process and went to dirt only!) we were not given any other options for the pad. We inquired about concrete runners as an option and would have gladly paid extra for them but received no information!!! Instead we have a dirt and clay pad that is washing out bit by bit every day with all of the heavy rain we have had!!! There wasn't even a tarp over our pad during the heaviest rains!!!! I will say that the couple who owned the company that did the dirt pad were very polite and informative though. It isn't their fault that we were given such depleted options (NONE.). We had scheduling issues- some companies came on the wrong days! In one case the company that came was not even given a key to get into the home!! A waste of time and our vacation days!! During our purchase, we stated that we were doing our utilities separately. When we told Palm Harbor this, the secretary wanted us to be completely finished with utilities before putting up our skirting. I had my fiancé explain that we had everything (the pipes and such) already ran out from under the house so the skirting could be put on. The secretary insisted that we must be finished with everything before we could get the keys to the home (WHAT?!?!). Relating to the utilities being separate, we were also not informed that the company normally builds a small deck at the front and back door. We are only getting two sets of "temporary steps". I asked the secretary why we were not given the option of the small deck areas- to which she stated the salesman thought we were "budget buyers". So... We are SO tight on the budget that we cannot allot for the- what? $1200 decks? Yes we want to save money in the process, but after all we have been through with Palm Harbor, I can rest easy knowing we DEFINITELY got a better peace of mind by separating our utilities! I honest to God am so thankful we did not trust them with the utilities based on the experience we've had overall. To add pain to misery, the company had such nonexistent care for us as customers that when they put the skirting on our home today, it was not even the color we had chosen. WE WERE EVEN BADGERED IN THE MIDST OF THE AWFUL EXPERIENCE TO GIVE THEM A FIVE STAR RATING ON GOOGLE, YELP, AND FACEBOOK!!!! Even with the warranty on the home for the next 12 YEARS, I am comfortable posting this awful review because my faith that they will do absolutely nothing to honor the warranty or help us is just that strong. We bought a home from palm harbor in August. The salesman was john on the spot while making the sale. Told us everything we wanted to hear. Promised it would be ready for delivery in 6 weeks and anything we found wrong with our home would be fixed within a month of moving in. After they got our money and signed the papers it all changed. It took 3 months to deliver the trailer and out of the list of problems the only thing that has been fixed is a few floor tiles have been replaced. We have leaks, the floor and counter tops are buckled and the list goes on. I have called and sent countless emails. They will not communicate. Its been 6 months since we moved in. Don't buy from palm harbor in Tomball!! Very unprofessional! read more

In we rolled, knowing nothing about mobile/modular homes, but eager to learn and be educated, as these types of homes seemed best suited for the country/rural location we selected. Sunday afternoon, no one else in the "showroom," yet we got no service, little education, and an indifferent young salesperson. "Just look around." Several of the homes were not open, although he told us they were. He came out to open them, only to find out he didn't have the keys. Next big issue, the A/C wasn't on in the open homes. HELLO! Houston, well into the 90's, summertime, no shade, and you expect me to even go into your display homes? You couldn't even breathe. All right. We just moved on. Although we did not make a purchase - it was because we were not looking for the specific product Palm Harbor sells. We are a church and were looking for a more basic stripped down portable building. Upon our visit to Palm Harbor we were greeted by JT and the crew with enthusiasm and helpfulness. Although it quickly looked as though the "home" format of Palm Harbor could not meet our need, JT spent the time and effort to "think out of the box" and make possible modification suggestions during our visit. He was hospitable, helpful and a creative thinker. The staff and management were friendly and made a point to greet us also. Both Monte and JT were timely in their followups after our visit and continued to offer help even when we made a decision to purchase a used portable school classroom format that better fit our needs. read more

STAY CLEAR of this place. Palm Harbor in Tomball, Texas is the bottom of the barrel. They use, abuse, break promises and rip people off. They don't care about people at all, just about making money. Now I know that this is true of most businesses, but Palm Harbor really doesn't care at all. They had no concern for a person's situation to the point of making promises that they knew they couldn't keep. Their homes are very well built, but don't let that fool you. What's put into the home in the factory and trimmed out by their independent contractor's is done so shabbily that my 5 year old son could do a better job on some of the things they did. They have lazy, uncaring, insensitive and incompetent employees, both in their office and manual labor. It is almost one year since I bought my home and I still have not gotten my Title because of their negligence. Everyday I find something else that was not done right. Please do yourself a favor and stay clear. read more
