If I could give zero stars for customer service I would. Islands location. No attempt to make their mistake right.

First of all I hate places that judge you for your appearance, Second of all why pay almost the same amount of money for this place as the gym that is in walking distance, third of all I do not care to pay 50+ plus dollars for what the lady behind the counter said it was their mediocre tanning lotions. The story behind this: I walked into this tanning place location in my way to the gym ( which includes tanning). I was looking for a hemp tanning lotion, since I find them to be the best tanning lotions I have encounter so far , next to the one I just found "bronzology" which smells fantastic by the way and does an excellent job. Well, I do not dress in design clothes to be sweaty, so I walk in here and the lady behind the counter immediately assumed what is in my budget or not. Well, a $120 lotion might be something I could consider buying if I didn't know I can get much cheaper and better quality products out there. Then she said "well you can buy our "mediocre" lotions ( she really said mediocre) because they might be more in your price range", without me saying anything about what I can or cannot afford. Either way her mediocre lotions were still 50+ dollars. In my mind I wonder why I am paying 50+ dollars for a mediocre product? Then I finally inquire about their tanning rates which I find ridiculous because their regular beds are the same price a month as the gym which is less than 50 feet away ,and you get a gym with the tanning bed. So in conclusion, if you like snooty, over priced, and mediocre tanning lotions I would totally recommend this place, and at the end they didn't even had what I was looking for. read more

I never thought I'd find myself moved to review a tanning salon but am compelled to just by the sheer excellence of the place so fair's fair! 2020 kept me away from the beach & surfing am sad to say and was looking for a way to just feel revived and a little more like my regular self. Get back some of the glow as it were. Not sure where to go I found this business was extremely well reviewed and from my experience, wholly deserving. Such a business gem in Savannah and the staff like Maddy and Jordan are very genuine, easy going, fun and hospitable people. They truly go the distance for clients and have never seen them less than upbeat and excited for their work and are truly passionate about product knowledge and sharing that knowledge with clients without being pushy. The business owners should know they're extremely fortunate for them as I'm a business owner and they have customer service nailed down. Very refreshing to know such talent isn't completely lost. The facility is quite pleasing visually and exceptionally sanitary. Beds are nice and while admittedly have seen crazier spaceship ones out there, I just don't require that and appreciate that while their beds are high end modern, they're also modest. All the same, I'd gander to say this is one of the strongest tanning salons out there and you'll be made to feel right at home. Thanks to them for everything they do. read more

This is my favorite PBT location I have been to yet! The girls are very sweet and helpful, and the location is always super clean and well kept. I love where this PBT is located in a very nice area and is definitely safe at all hours. I have only needed Palm Beach Tan on and off throughout the years, but this is always my favorite one to come back to. Melissa is the sweetest! read more

I was so thankful to find a Palm Beach Tan in Savannah. I love their mystic tan and it's the same machine at every location. This spot is on Wilmington in the development off highway 80 next to Jalapenos and Papa's BBQ. It did take a while to actually get taken care of but I think spring break (ugh, I wish adults got spring break) had something to do with all of the people signing new contracts. Yay for looking tan without having to lay in a bed! read more

They are a plethora of knowledge and will answer any question and provide great recommendations that actually help you create your perfect tan. Jordan and Grace are especially awesome! Ok I'll be honest it was a good tanning session I did get some color, but it ends there. Be careful what package you buy and whatever you do make sure you use it up right away because the system will "automatically" delete any tans you have left after 60 days. Back in April/May I bought a 6 tan package in the medium tan booth. I was having my destination wedding in Playa Del Carmen Mexico and I wanted to have some base before I went to hang out in the sun. I used 4 tans in the first 2 weeks then left for 2.5 weeks for my wedding and honeymoon. I came back and played catch up at work for a few weeks and then just got busy as life tends to. I finally left work early and figured minus well get a quick tan before the 4th of July. When I got to the counter the girl said I looked familiar and told her I had 2 tans left and was looking forward to using them. She said "sorry, they were automatically deleted, but you can buy another package or single tan if you like". So 1/3 of my $80+ package was "gone" after 60 days. There was nothing she could do but she would love to sell me another package. Oh by the way you are told about all the money you save if you buy a package, but the 60 day "automatic delete" is conveniently left out. Thanks but no thanks. Dear Palm Beach Tan thank you for honoring 2/3's of my package and I wish you lots of luck. You will never see me again though. Richard read more

I usually love my experiences here but yesterday 4/18/21 i did not!!!! who ever the pale girl with different colored hair and tattoos was working was a pain to everyone. she made me switch rooms 3 times bot sure why she also made a man leave who has been going here forever a long time because he didn't have his id which i guess is a new policy, weird she made him leave because she knows he has a membership there but okay. also while i was waiting for a room another woman was waiting for her room, someone finished tanning and walked out of room 5 if i can remember correctly, and then she told the other woman 5 was open and she could go ahead in. unbelievable especially in this pandemic that she did not clean the bed i was shocked. i wish i had got her name, i really love palm beach tan and don't want to have to find a new tanning salon, the workers like jordan and the other girl tan girl with dark hair (wish i knew her name shes my favorite) are the reason i still go here :) they have always been extremely helpful and always clean rooms before i go in anyways i've never seen this other girl before yesterday and hopefully i won't have to again!!!! read more

Very nice tanning salon. I got a special for my 1st month. Otherwise its expensive for the high end beds. I will see how the 1st month goes. So far its really great. If your looking for a place on the island to tan or even from downtown this is a great place. read more

The VersaPro heated sunless tanning system is absolutely amazing!! The previous booth options (e.g. Mystic or VersaSpa) were definitely sub par to the far more accurate and even delivery of the gun spray. I never thought I'd make the switch! Though the VersaPro isn't quite as contoured as the gun sprayer, it's pretty darn close; plus, it's about 80$ less or more a month, offers pre and post tan options, and, my favorite amenity, it's HEATED!! I really appreciate that they provide all the needed pre- tan accessories needed-hair bonnet, lip balm, nose filters, protective eye wear, and barrier cream. One thing I must mention about this location is that sometimes the customer service at this place isn't exactly the most accommodating I've ever received. And id certainly read the fine print of any monthly plan to which you may subscribe. If you decide you want to cancel your subscription and don't do it IN PERSON, even if you don't go in they'll charge you month after month without even telling you that your account is ridiculously in the red. This location told me I couldn't return if I canceled my membership. The manager Mellissa, talked over me because she wasn't concerned about answering my questions, she insisted that if I froze my account it would be to my advantage. I was then charged to in-freeze it. When I returned a year later an associate had to sign me up and then I was charged for a package instead of the freeze fee because it was "my fault" that I did not read the small print of their loop holes. Terrible customer service when you blame those who are paying consumers. read more

Poorly run! I was in visiting from out of town and wanted to inquire about the pricing for a 1 time visit. There were 2 people in front of me and I waited about 15-20 minutes before I finally made it to the counter. Once there, the lady refused to tell me the prices before I filled out an information sheet. I complied and then she still made me wait for another 10-15 minutes while she cleaned beds, took personal calls, attended to several other people that came in after me. Finally, she got around to me and then rather than allowing me to speak, proceeded to give me a tour of the place, starting with their lowest bed (which had not been cleaned). I mentioned that I wanted the best bed and that I was willing to pay the $30 (which I consider a whole lot for 1 tanning session), but I still had to wait for the guy to finish that was in there. Again I waited, then she said I had to wait for her to clean it, but again for the next 15-20 minutes she proceeded to clean the other rooms and attend to other customers that came in after me. I'd say that I was probably in there well over an hour and that they attended to approximately 12-15 people that came in after me first. Horrible customer service! - as for the $30 bed, it was pretty cool looking and had all these cool gadgets, but I don't think I got that much color from it; it wasn't worth $30. Hi it's me Stacie G, so I went to Palm beach Tan. I did buy an unlimited package, and have used one of my up grades to the big bad huge space ship looking tanning bed, AND LOVED IT! It really boosted my color up soooo much!! Plus it's an Open tanning bed, weird looking but awesome.. The staff is friendly, from what I see so far... Drew is the one that helped me, and he was sweet, and funny, good personality.... There is a blonde sweet sweet girl there too, but I didn't catch her name.. But she was also very sweet and helpful... The only thing so far as a tip.... If u are working up to a tan, like I was.. Meaning I started at 8 mins in a 12 min bed.. Which was fine with me. Because u do not want to burn.. That would defeat the whole purpose if you burned.. U know? Use your heads tanners.. If u burn, u will have to sit out a day.. Which will slow your tanning process rather then speed it up... Sorry for rambling lol. Anyway, back to my point... You have to tell them you want to boost your time up.. I'm ready to stay at 12 mins here on out, because I have an awesome base tan.... The last couple times I was put in for only 10 mins when I could have been doing the full 12 mins... So that's really the only thing... Oh the place is also clean. And thank god they play music and great music at that! Over all it's a great place with a great atmosphere! I'm still new here, so if anything changes, I'll keep u posted... Oh and will I come back!!! MOST DEFINITELY!!!! So if u want Fast color, I would suggest Palm Beach Tan... This particular Palm Beach tan, likes to charge your credit card monthly without telling you. So if you decide to tan at this particular store make sure you monitor your statements and keep tabs on it. They will not reimburse you. They are not a pleasure to deal with. read more
