I feel bad for having tong to give her a bad review, but I need to for any future clients. The equipment that was used to spray the tan on was bad. She explained that there was a part that needed replaced ordered but she hadn't received it yet, so it kept malfunctioning. She shouldn't have used it at all. The tan was considerably darker than what we had discussed on the phone and it was basically horrendous. There were streaks, uneven tones and areas that had crevices (heels, elbows, knuckles, nails etc.) were not covered with any lotion to prevent coloring in those areas. I didn't ask about this at the time because I was new at it and it wasn't until I talked with an experienced friend that I found out about all the things she didn't do and should have. At the time, I didn't realize just how bad it was until I got home and got into some good light. The room she sprays you in doesn't have sufficient lighting, so I didn't see the disaster until I got home. I hate giving bad reviews, but I don't want someone else to go through this emotional trauma, plus I really liked Kathy.

I have been coming here at least 7 years now and wouldn't want to tan anywhere else. They are reasonably priced for annual memberships with both stand up booths and beds to lay in. Also they have the best deals on lotion, unlike most places who mark up their lotions and make them way overpriced. It isn't often that you have to wait very long to tan, but if you do there is lots of stuff to look around at that they sell in their shop!

I had an amazing experience at Scents of Serenity. I was feeling a bit burned out so decided to…read moretake a spa day. I booked myself an infrared sauna session, a flower essence bath soak, a coconut sugar scrub, and a 30 min serenity massage with reflexology add-on. I went all out and I left feeling absolutely relaxed. If I had to do it again, I would not bother with the bath soak, I've had the same caliber of baths at home. My favorite part was the sugar scrub with Lucy, she was amazing. I started with the sauna. I was led to the room and given clear instructions. I loved starting here because it set the tone for a meditative experience. There was a timer in the sauna and a remote to switch the lighting if I wanted. This was really nice. I then was led to the bath soak room. This was my own doing, but I chose to come from a hot sauna into a HOT bath. I tried cooling down the water, but it did not work. I spent most of the time outside of the bath. The room was absolutely beautiful and inspired me. I loved the bathtub shape and the pillows provided. The bathtub tray with tea was lovely. It was also nice that they provided body scrub and lotion. The few flowers in the bath were cute. After that, I was a bit lost. Thankfully there was a sheet in there to explain that I could wait in the lobby for my next session. The wait took a bit. Someone kindly offered me some snacks which I enjoyed. I loved that they were vegan and gluten-free. After spending most of the afternoon in a DIY spa session, Lucy was an amazing next spa treatment. She guided me through what to expect. Her voice was very soothing. The sugar scrub was relaxing and left me feeling absolutely smooth. She recommended doing it once a season. Next I was introduced to Justin who was my massage therapist for the last treatment. He was just as kind. For those who are passionate about deep tissue massage, he's perfect for this! He was mindful of my requests on pressure and really helped me relax. I had an amazing afternoon at Scents of Serenity spa. The sugar scrub table and massage table both have heating elements which make it perfect for winter time or a soothing and relaxing time! I would recommend this spa and am excited to come back for more.

Found this business on Yelp in august cause im new to the area. Schedule appt for Sept3 for 10am…read more I reached out a hour early to find out that she only accept cash or cashapp which im not use to. I had to wait outside for for 15mins (sweaty) she let me know that she'd be 40 mins late cause he mom died 3years ago. (i have no idea why she told me that). she let me know that she wouldnt give me a refund on the mandatory 50$ deposit although she was the one running late. Super weird experience with a business owner. Cherry on top was that she said since im already waiting there i might as well wait another 20mins for her to get there. pretty bad.
