Wow. Just got off the phone with the owner after getting off the phone with the manager and I cannot warn people strongly enough to stay away from this place! I understand the purpose of business is to make money but to be successful at that you have to have customer service and this place only has a facade of that. They greet you with a smile and as long as you are in and out, they're your best friend but if there's an issue, that changes instantly. I paid for a membership for summer to go in once a month to spray tan. I went about 5 times and every single time had issues. The latest tan that I received had the best results and I've posted pictures of that. I've been spray tanning for over 10 years now so I know how to apply the barrier cream but every time there was unevenness, splotches, lines, etc. The actual quality of the tan isn't the worst part of my experience. A)It wasn't explained to me when I signed up that the dark option was an additional charge. The medium option is orange (2 employees told me this) so that only leaves you with light unless you pay more. Who pays for a spray tan to get light?? B)The sticky feet protectors (that you pay extra for) leave gummy residue on your feet. I had to run outside after my dog one day after a tan and my grass had been freshly mowed and my feet were covered in dirt and grass. It was disgusting. Can you imagine having to wash the bottom of your feet while not getting water on your hands or top of your feet so your tan won't mess up? It was not a pleasant experience! The next time I went in and told the girl at the front desk of my experience, the girl showed no sympathy but said, "I've never heard of that happening to anyone else. So do you want them again or not?" One of the pictures shows some of the residue on my toe but that time it wasn't much. Imagine that times 20. D)I went in to tan on April 28 and at that time canceled my membership. They asked me why and I said I wasn't satisfied with the finished product. The cutoff date to cancel and not be charged for May was April 25 so I was charged one more month which was fine. But then I was charged again in June. I called and told the person this and was asked to wait while she went and cleaned a bed because she had "a million beds to clean and people were waiting on her". I hung up. E)The manager called a few days later. I explained that I'd been charged after canceling. She said there was no record of me canceling and that I had to come in to cancel. I told her I HAD gone in and canceled. That call was going nowhere so I ended it. F)The OWNER called and immediately was sarcastic like she didn't believe me that I went in to cancel. She asked how did I think I'd canceled when I went in on May 31 to tan? As if me going in on May 31 was somehow connected to my June billing but that makes zero sense. I'd gone in too late to cancel for May meaning I paid for May meaning I was owed a tan in May (which was the May 31 tan). It was June's charge that was the issue. She refused to credit the month saying I hadn't canceled. I told her of the entire conversation I had with the girl behind the desk when I went in to cancel. I said, "We're talking about $15 here!" She said, "Exactly. It's only $15." Like I'm supposed to let it go and give her the $15. Who does that?? I am just floored at the (what I feel is) incompetent and unprofessional behavior from the top down. Save yourself the headache and save yourself from a splotchy spray tan. I spent $65.00 for 1 self tanning session. The salesperson knew me from years ago. She upsold me over and over and over, never explaining how much all these extras was going to cost. When she told me it was $65.00 I paid it, because I was going to Florida and I didn't want to be white. The place I usually go to is $25, but their bed was broken. I paid extra so that I could shower 6 hrs after applicatiom, but I decided to sleep with it on, because I didn't want to wash it off until the next morning when I was leaving. When I showered 85% of the color WASHED OFF. I noticed by the time the plane landed I had a little color. By the end of that day the tan was GONE, I was as white as I was the night when I entered the both. $65.00 wasted!! I completed a survey, but never heard from anyone in management or the owner. When I received a bad review when I managed a store, I got in touch with the person to make it right, but not this salon. I do not recommend anyone using this self tanning salon. read more

The tanning is ok until you get ready to cancel your membership. I have been charged for the past 6 months on a membership that they refuse to cancel. I relocated to another state over the summer and was told if I wanted to continue to tan I could go to the PBT nearest me or could cancel there if I decided I did not want to use that salon. That is not true. I cannot cancel my membership as they are individually owned. I have called, left messages, and even emailed the corporate office with no response! Save your money and go somewhere you do not need to get into a direct debit contract with. The customer service and management of this establishment is horrid. If I could give zero stars I would! read more

This place....oh this place. Every interaction I've had with the owner and few select staff members has been decent. But the majority of the staff are just downright unfriendly, unaccommodating, and show no customer service skills what so ever. If you plan on EVER canceling your membership here....don't even bother signing up. They ask you why you wish to cancel, and even after you verbalize a clear reason, they ask you why again and are just rude about the whole interaction. They also like to continue to charge you.....so watch your account. DON'T DO IT! read more

While living in Prairieville, I was absolutely impressed with their bulbs and their prices. I was GLAD to be a patron of their business. When it came time to close my account, I had the WORST experience ever. 18 month later, they were STILL charging my account. NOT COOL! Love it! The girls are always super friendly and very helpful! After a week with the gold package my tan was starting to build! Totally could tell that I was not wasting my money :) I have been recommending to everyone I know! There are also ALWAYS deals on the website so make sure you check before you go in.. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean and they have top notch equipment. I use the MYSTIC sunless tanning and they supply robes, hair nets, nose plugs, barrier cream and a block for lips or other areas. I always look forward to walking in their door and leaving with a smile. I transferred my account from another tanning salon and am paying 30% less for incredible service, even/nonstreaking sunless tanning. It is very obvious that the owners take great pride in their business and I am happy to support them. read more
