Everyone is very nice now they one who i assumed was the manager before doesn't seem to work there anymore. I love the spray and hydration treatment they have! I have done a body wrap as well and it's great because even thought it's a longer spa treatment they have Netflix for you to watch while you do it! I tried glo sun spa on a whim from a Groupon offer. I had previously been tanning at another salon in the baton rouge area and was unimpressed with their services. Glo sun spa was a breath of fresh air, they provide friendly service (employees listen to your needs and guide you in the right way, whether it be the best price package for your needs or guiding you towards the right product that they sell that fits your needs)and the beds are very well kept up with (they keep up with changing the bulbs so you end up with a very nice tan!) After my year was up, I went back to renew and still had the same outstanding service I received when I first started tanning here a year ago! Im not the type to write sappy reviews so I will list the cons but in no way do they even come close to out weighing the pro's: -expensive at the start (but you get what you paid for and more plus they do offer promotional packages and they have offers for new clients who want to try their services) -stereos didn't work for a month on half of the beds(I'm pretty sure this was fixed though) So, for tanning there over a year, it says something that 1. I can only come up with two downfalls and 2. they are both very small issues because thats just normal business and life. read more

I'm so confused about the other reviews from here. I am absolutely thrilled with the service I got here and will definitely be returning! I bought a Groupon for the sunless Autobronzer tanning for a month. When I came in the manager was extremely polite and helped me sign up and get in to their BRAND NEW Versaspa for an extra cost. I was in an out in no time and the tan looks AMAZING. I really enjoyed all the employees here. Everyone was very sweet! By the way, they are doing a lot of upgrading and renovations right now and it looks SO NICE. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 is because they are not done with upgrades yet and it is a little messy inside but they are going through an awesome transition it looks like! read more

An awesome groupon deal is what brought me in a week ago, but so much more is what is worth staying for! Even after walking in for a discounted price, the lady who I presume is a manager, took me on a tour of the place and explained everything I needed to know about anything there! I saw them on groupon and figured why not ?!? So glad I did because they are great ! They do your paperwork then give you a tour of the facility and explain all their services. They go over their promos after that which their current one for May 2016 is spend $75 and you get 30 days of the luxury services. I was excited about that and purchased a lotion and started my luxury services right away with a tanning bed. They're so polite and friendly as well as informative. They all know the services, lotions, serums, etc. I was very impressed. So happy I got the groupon ! read more

To keep things short this place is by far the best salon in town! The girls in the front are so sweet and very helpful! They were so busy and had cut off the line for spray tans but allowed me to get a spray tan if I was willing to wait due to the fact that I had graduation the next day! I'm so thankful!! Glo Sun Spa has become my new ~happy place~ in Baton Rouge!! It is incredibly clean, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I had never used a tanning bed or gotten a spray tan before visiting Glo, and the workers were extremely patient and explained how everything worked in detail. If you are unsure about where to tan, I highly recommend Glo! It is overall a wonderful experience. Plus, you can use you a guest pass when you are a new customer which gets you one year of basic level tanning for free plus other awesome services! read more

I purchased the Groupon for the Autobronzer and was told it is not working, parts are needed, and the girl didn't know when it would be working. Very disappointing to purchase a voucher I can't use till who kows when. I was told another spray tan machine is available, for the regular charge, no discount. read more

Had a membership there for a year. Everything was fine. It expired. Time went by. I stopped by to get a membership or tan. I paid $35 for 1 tan in their "best" bed and did not even get pink. They used to take care of their beds, but now It seems its being let go. read more

Never in my life have I come across a business that so blatantly takes its customers for granted. I have been using the Autobronzer at this spa for more than six months. I have a month to month to month contract for which I pay almost $50 a month. Well, the Autobronzer was broken for an entire week and instead of offering some type of discount or refund for the week that it was not working, I was offered an at home tanning solution that the manager informed me the owner would sell to me at wholesale. I was unable to use the service I had already paid for due to their problems and now they act like they are doing me a favor in offering me more crap tp buy that I would not have needed had their equipment been working. I am done with this spa . They have no idea how to keep their customers happy or show their custmers that they apprecuate their business. In short, I paid in advance for a service that was unavailabe for a week and the only thing I was offered by this owner was that I could buy more of his products at wholesale. read more

Absolutely dread coming here. They claim they got new more polite management but the manager is awful. She argues with customers in plain sight and has always had an attitude when I walk in. Having been to the other Glo Spas in TX I can say that this one is a dump compared to the others. The tanning beds here look decades old where as at the other locations they look like the newest model around. In BR they also charge you for goggles as if you are not paying enough for their sub par tanning. You would think like the TX salons they would have the courtesy to provide a pair of goggles. It is a shame that this sorry excuse for a tanning salon is under the Glo name. Does not do the real Glos any justice. read more

Absolutely worthless unless you purchase a plan that includes use of the luxury/premium beds. I purchased a group on for use of the basic beds for one year, and the beds just aren't working...I had the same membership 3 years ago and had no problems getting very tan going about 3x per week using the exact same lotion I am now. Now I am going every single day and see close to no results, no where near the results I had before their old basic beds were replaced and before the current management was here. Not sure if these new beds are garbage, they aren't maintaining the bulbs, or just flat out scamming people in an effort to make money off more expensive membership plans. Every time I am helped by the staff they harp on upgrading to the premium beds and now I see why. However, the price for a membership with access to premium beds is roughly $60 per month plus a $100 membership fee with a minimum of one year purchase. Could easily go elsewhere for $40 per month without locking myself into a ridiculous one year plan. Use to really love Glo because it was affordable and I got great results, but I can't say the same anymore. read more
