I won a free service from this location and so I decided to check it out. I was greeted by a beautiful young lady who took me through the facility and went over in detail what they had to offer. I had no idea Planet Beach had so many services. Because of the great special they were running, I decided to sign up for the month. I have visited almost everyday for a couple of weeks now and I've had a pleasant experience every single time. Remember the beautiful young lady who greeted me on my first day? Well her name is Monte, and as it turns out she is the manager and now after visiting with her almost daily, I now consider her to be a friend. I see where this location has only bad reviews, but I can assure you that was under different management. Everyone one of the ladies working here are a pleasure getting to know and to chat with. After finishing my Hot Works core class today, I was treated to sweet treats and mimosas. You can't beat that with a stick! If you are thinking about pampering yourself at a time where our world seems to have lost its collective mind, Plant Beach in Prairieville would be a great place to check out. This location in Prairieville is the most vile health spa that should have been closed down by the health department a long time ago! The building is dilapidated, and I'm sure full of black mold.The entire place wreaks of cheep $ store air freshener and filth! They sanitize absolutely NOTHING! The floors are always dirty, and the bathroom is disgusting. Believe me....I was a member here at one time, and was appalled by not only the uncleanliness, but the absolute disregard to my health and others. The customer service is horrible. I have already posted a review you cannot see for some reason. Their rating is from 2014 customers not current ones. My 3 services for $30.00 ended up costing me 121.00 . what I was offered and what I paid was two different things. The 30.00 is profit for using their machines. But not for actual service. Terrible customer service from Manager and a very unhonest person. I was also offered a $49.00 a month service for tanning of $5.00 each on spray bombs. When I agreed he requested I call on Monday since is was New Years eve after 3:30. I called and he has now refused this offer he gave me and said it was never to be like that. They will try to scam you by offering you a free month of services, DONT FALL FOR IT!! What they have been doing to me is illegal and unethical to say the least! The last time I was in there back in JUNE I think it was, MONTHS ago, I told McKayla or whatever her name was that it was my LAST time going there and to please cancel my membership because I couldn't afford it any longer to which she said no problem. Then, the day after Hurricane Ida took almost EVERYTHING from my family, they started charging my card- 3 $5 charges and a $45 charge and then a $75 charge I believe it was. They put my family in a life-threatening situation. We evacuated to a hotel because my son was on a nebulizer and we had no power and next thing you know, not only can I not pay for our hotel room, my account is almost $200 in the negative because of NSF fees charged to my account by their unauthorized charges. I didn't have enough gas to get us home and couldn't have taken my son back to a place without power anyway so we sat outside for an entire day hundreds of miles from home trying to get this resolved all because for some delusional and crazy reason, they felt entitled to my money the day after a category 4 hurricane hit Louisiana. THATS where their priorities were and are yall, trying to rob honest people!!! Fast forward a few more times, they do this to my account to the point that the bank demands I get a new debit card which froze funds in my account for 9 days while I waited for a new card to arrive in the mail. Next thing you know, last month they somehow were able to get my money from me AGAIN which was the FORTH time I was charged NSF fees because of this shady place. I called to dispute the charge as usual and ask how they were able to continue defrauding me of my money on a closed out card to which I was informed that they actually went through the lengthy process of contacting Visa directly for assistance with the matter. Fast forward AGAIN, I get an email from them from a noreply emailthanking me for my $75 purchase. I call the bank, there's nothing I can do until the fraudulent charge is actually posted. Well, I had Christmas coming out of my account at the same time so, as I went to pay my light bill just now, as opposed to being able to do so, guess what? I'm $54.83 in the negative again. My "free" trial membership which somehow cost me $37 the day I signed up for it, has ended up costing me HUNDREDS for attempting to cancel with this place. I've been up there on multiple occasions when I have access to a vehicle and no kids with me to get this resolved and speak with Payton, the oh-so-friendly manager, and he's never there. Two different girls have both indicated that they would pass on the messages to Payton and have him call me. No call. Just illegal charges out of the blue all the time, this one the day before Christmas. I honestly wonder what kind of humans these people even are and how do they sleep at night? We lost everything in a hurricane. I have to work my ass off for every dime I get at this point, and they just keep trying to take it from me and my toddlers at whim! I hope to God karma repays these people in the absolute worst and biggest ways possible!!! I now have to go and get an entirely new bank account because of this situation. PLEASE DONT FALL FOR THEIR TRAP! Their services are WAY overpriced anyway and half the girls there don't even know what they're doing. One girl let me do a stand up tan and a lay down bed back to back in the same session which I guess can be super dangerous. They'll try to get you to buy all their crap in the lobby which you can get online for less than half of what they try to charge. Half the time, something wasn't working here or there. On multiple occasions I brought my wipes and stuff in because they barely wipe down the beds after each use. This place doesn't even deserve one star. I've had a membership and have been coming to this Planet beach location for years, at least three or four years. For the second time I've called in and the regular manager wasn't here, they can't find my name in the sat let my name is in there but doesn't show membership. We paid for a full year and I've been coming regularly for that time. They say they can't get in touch with the manager and there's no owner and they don't know how to override the system. I will not be renewing I will not be coming back, they have other issues they just don't have good service they don't play their music it's not top-notch or worth it. Horrible horrible customer service. Manager was extremely rude. Called the say before I came in to asked about a groupon and if purchased would I would be able to use the spray tan. She called me back to confirm my appt and and told me I would be able to use. Upon arriving today at the appt the manager AMBER told me I was not able to use my groupon and proceeded to tell me she had worked for the company for 7 years....extremely smart elect and didnt care if she lost a customer or not. Will never visit this location again and will let everyone know how rude managment is at this location and will contact headquarters regarding her attitude. read more

TERRIBLE!!!! Extremely rude customer service. They scam you! Don't sign up for membership they will scam you ! You can't cancel membership without the manager being there and never there. Horrible customer service, if you even want to call that customer service. Manager/owner is very rude and has no cooth. Knowing the spray tan machines are sometimes unreliable and faulty, still puts customers in them. He doesn't care one bit what the outcome is, he only wants money. read more

I would give a zero if possible. After canceling my membership because of equipment that doesn't work. My credit card is as hot carded and they were trying to draft my account. Stealing from me.
