Oh my gosh, Anjali, Nic and Aubrey are awesome staff! I wish I could clone them to your other stores. They are positive, upbeat and will do everything to make your experience wonderful! Thank you Palm Beach Tan for hiring such wonderful people! read more

I really like this place. Every time I come to this area I make sure I stop by. The staff, especially Taniya, is really great.

I showed up at 10am. They open at 9 and it was closed. Me another guy were outside waiting. Then I called and they don't even have a voice mail. The he parking attendant said a lot of people have been complaining that they aren't open. I pay a monthly membership. I will be canceling it AND demanding a refund for the last 2 months. Horrible service. read more

Advertised everywhere they open 9am on Saturdays, got there 945 and it was closed. No one there. No one picked up the phone. Such a joke will never go back. read more

I recently had a little issue and instead of posting it on the Internet I contacted a manager. It was resolved very quickly! Also I want to give big props to the new manager at Palm Beach Tan in Venice! Her name is Rachel, soon as I walked in she had a beautiful smile and was very kind. After talking to her I could see her passion about the business. She definitely knows her stuff about all the products in the beds. Looking forward to seeing her in the future. Whoever hired her did an awesome job! Rachel is an awesome person with great passion for the business! Please take care of this girl! Sincerely Patrick read more

Horrible customer service. Unclean tanning beds/rooms. Manager charged me for a "free promotional" service after all. read more

THEY SCAM YOU. DO NOT COME HERE. I was lured into "trying out" the sunbed before committing to a membership by the manager. She specifically told me they can comp the walk in rate for me to experience it before deciding on a membership. Then when I decided to go for the membership they secretly snuck in the daily walk in rate and then acted like it was out of their control to refund me that simple $35 fee. It was an ongoing month by month grueling process for me to fight back for that fee back. You mean to tell me it's easy to overcharge a guest but you cannot simply refund them the money through your computer? Did I really have to go through corporate to have this problem resolved? Will never be returning because of the extremely poor, act of service. DO NOT GO HERE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY. read more

Tanya is the best and it is always a quick and easy process ned's r always clean and bulbs r great!! Ten stars

Great customer service , Clean beds and a very knowledgeable new manager. Her name is Tonya and it seems like she's gonna turn this place around. Thanks Tonya you're amazing! read more

**BEWARE** THEY SCAM YOU! if I there was an option of giving NO STARS I would! They scam you into getting a membership!!! I went to this place cause I was coming out in a wedding, and wanted to look tan!! They made sign all kinds of forms and me trusting them thinking it was just a waiver form and not sucking me into a membership!! Luckily I checked my accounts and noticed charges from them. I called them and they insisted that I signed an agreement for a membership! I never agreed to any sort of membership. I never went back after that one time since I don't live in the area. They were rude and refused to give me my refund back. Never going back there again and would never recommend it to anyone! read more

Extremely poor customer service. Their equipment is poorly maintained and frequently breaks down. Staff often arrive late, well after opening hours, forcing customers to return hours later. Unfortunately, Brentwood is too far for me--never had issues there. read more

I am always satisfied when I come here. All the associates are so friendly and helpful. Anjoli always has a smile on her face ready to help answer any questions. The salon is clean, comfortable and welcoming. Thank you! read more

Terrible customer care. I canceled my account last year during COVID, called afterwards twice to no response, was still billed monthly. Finally got customer care on the phone 11 months later, refused to refund any of the monthly charges even with zero visits. Customer care couldn't have been nicer when we spoke, but the lack of communication, response and the concern with my billing was unacceptable. Would not recommend. read more

I started coming to this Palm Beach Tan during Covid and it has become a part of my weekly (almost daily) regimen!! The staff are so friendly- they have come to know me, my tanning preferences and are always helpful whenever I have questions. They provide such good advice on which products to use for whatever you are wanting to focus on. Not only is the staff great, their equipment is well kept and top of the line! I have yet to see any bulbs out in a bed and the spray booth is always thoroughly cleaned. Also, I love they offer robes if you are cocktail tanning! Helpful hints: - upgrade your spray tan with one of the kits they offer. It includes scents, a rapid enhancer to develop the tan faster as well as bronzers- it makes my spray tan last an extra 2-3 days. Plus, the color is customized to match my under tone to look super realistic. - also, they validate parking for the attached parking garage so you do not have to find street parking! read more

I have been tanning since I moved to the states. Originally from Puerto Rico so I can keep that Caribbean swag. I have tried a lot of places but nothing like this specific location. 2 years ago I lived in WEHO and joined PBT it was ok but took a year out and now joining the Santa Monica location. There is no doubt that I am were I need to be. The place is clean at a 100% and sanitized. Every single of the girls here are knowledgeable in all aspects and extremely courteous, professional yet friendly and welcoming. They bring customer service to a whole new level with their warm excellent approach. I listen to their recommendations because it doesn't feel like a sale for the extra add one to me it feel as if they really after the customer's best interest and memorable experience. Shout out to the management as well, great training because I have seen new girls just be as good as the experience ones right away. Never a mistake as opposed to the Weho Location :|. read more

I'm glad I decided to come here. Such nice people who work here and treat you so friendly. Appreciate the honesty and explanation of the tanning process. Have to treat yourself with a tan read more

Been going there for awhile now and to be honest for the past couple months i've been very unsatisfied by the way palm beach tan hiring unprofessional people and i will mention names there's a girl named Laura absolutely rude to me and she gets really loud at first I thought maybe because she has a mask on that's why she raises her voice but her tone definitely changes with other customers but with me she's really rude and unprofessional I don't know what's her issues with me i did nothing wrong to her I remember i bought a hot flaming cheetos with bag of M&M's I thought maybe after that she'll start to become nice but nothing has changed since. The reason I'm writing the review is because i need the corporate to take actions read more

I've been a Diamond member for several years, most of which have been great. But lately, I get the impression the owners don't care what's going on as long as the money keeps rolling in. The one Platinum level bed has a bulb out, and the only stand-up machine is currently on week TWO of being completely inoperative, this making my premium membership useless. So, I quit. And I wouldn't advise anyone to START a membership there until the owners start treating it like a business. The kids that work there, incidentally, are AWESOME. read more

The place was so busy as one of the staff had called out sick. I waited for 20 mins to get to the front desk.. then when the lady told me I had to sign up and it's take a while I offered to let a regular customer go ahead of me. Which the other customer was very grateful for. What was bizarre was that another customer came in and the staff member started to serve her aswell!! So I'm now almost 30 mins in the lobby like some idiot. Is this for real??? read more

This would be an amazing salon if they would keep their equipment up to date with bulb changes I've been a member for well over 2.5 months tan quite regularly but don't seem to be getting any darker I've worked in a tanning salon before snd this is my professional opinion NEW BULBS are a must to keep your tan fresh I was told by management at salon they rarely do Change bulbs if ever read more

Tanned here for the first time today and it was a great experience the employees were so nice and had much more knowledge about products and the beds than I expected them being under new management was incredibly noticeable! over all great customer service I'll definitely be returning to this location! read more

Palm Beach Tan - Skin Care Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I have been a member of Palm Beach Tan for a year. They closed, as everyone did in March, due to the pandemic. So, I called to cancel my membership and talked to the nicest person who said it was taken care of. I didn't notice until 7 months later that I was still being charged monthly and when I reached out to get the refund, I was refused. They "had no record of cancellation" I was told. But, you know what they did have a record of - me, not coming in and not using the services that I was paying for. The thing is, I would have planned to resume my membership after the winter, when things are safer. But, they lost me forever! They stole money from me during a time that every dollar is needed and they lost a loyal customer forever. This business has no integrity. read more

Best salon on the west side! I've been a diamond member for years; the rewards are amazing, you monthly discounts and sorts of perks. The salon is clean, cute and the staff is amazing! Liz is the nest, super sweet, always helpful and just a cool chick! They really nailed down the formulas for the spray tan, I always get compliments on the color of my tan! Forever a fan and client!! read more

My name is Richard B. and I have been a customer at Palm Beach Tan for several years. I know people take time to right negative reviews and I have personally called corporate to correct and error several times that has occurred about being grandfathered in to membership so not to "add charge" for Versa Tan. Several people have been cooperative and helpful in corporate and many in the Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Brentwood locations have not. That is why I am taking the time to give a shout out and HUGE PRAISE to JOEY, the manager in the West Hollywood location who has gone above and beyond everyone else to ensure this problem is corrected at least in the three locations I most frequent. He has not only corrected and made notes into my account, but his friendly demeanor and way to listen and correct the problem is above and beyond. His personality is always so polite and welcoming as well. I needed to write this as I want you to know how appreciated he is to me and this type of person will go far in management in whatever he chooses. He truly was the person that kept me coming back and not changing companies to tan with. Thanks again for having such an amazing employee! Sincerely, Richard B. read more

I've been to PBTs around the country over the past decade, and THIS is seriously the best one! The employees and manager at PBT Venice ALWAYS go the extra mile, every single time. Each person that works there is super genuine and nice. They have appropriate suggestions for products, beds, and spray options without being pushy, while still keeping my goals in mind. If you want a safe tan and a positive customer experience, definitely hit up PBT in Venice on Main Street :) read more

Just left, and Liz was great! There were some hiccups because I was trying to unfreeze my account, but it's based in the ATL market. With the help of Liz and a manager in Atlanta, my account was unfrozen, and I was able to get a spray tan! Liz even stayed after closing time so I could get all this figured out. I'm so appreciative - thank you for great customer service! read more

I want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at PBT Beverly Hills and a special thanks for all her hard work, dedication and diligence to Isabella at PBT in Venice. I had a very good and pleasant experience supported by the excellent customer service I was provided with at both locations, as well as the amazing results I got from your tanning beds. Keep up the good work! My best wishes to all of you. Ivan I. read more

First off I have to say I love these girls!! I startled coming to this location last year when I moved here from NYC!! I will never go to another tanning salon!! I love the fact that I can bring my little pug with me!! This location is always clean and looking amazing. Erin Brittany and the rest of the girls are awesome!! You won't be disappointed!! Update!!! I still love this place. I recently moved back to Venice from NYC. When I got back, to my surprise there was a brand new staff!! I love the girls there!! Please excuse me but I'm bad with names. The manager there is awesome. (Michelle). These ladies are sweet and very helpful. The only negative thing I will say, I feel this place has a huge turn over. I don't like having to get use to new people. I think the upper management is the problems I think giving people with out any type of higher education such as a bachelors in HR or business can lead to high turn overs and a business. This comment is for the upset management. You need strong upper management not mediocre managers. Your store managers and staff fail because of upper management. read more

Palm Beach Tan can fleece as well as tan you. And Danielle Davila, their District Manager, is not customer-friendly. I last visited Palm Beach November 15, 2019. Months later I noticed they'd charged me $419.75 for December through March - a period I never once visited Palm Beach. So I emailed Danielle. She apologized and immediately offered a refund. She confirmed a refund had been issued and I should check my account, not once but twice. Finally, she wrote there would be no refund. Her rationale: their services were worth more than what I'd paid. For a 4-month period when I never once tanned. Interesting math ! Bottom line: be very very careful before giving this company your credit card information. Here are excerpts from Danielle's emails: July 10, 2020 I am so sorry for any miscommunication. I have gone ahead and submitted a refund request for $419.75. July 17, 2020 I do apologize the for the delay. I will be processing the refund request today. July 25, 2020 We have issued the refund request and it should be in your account within the next 3-5 business days. July 28, 2020 The refund has been denied because the services rendered during your time with us exceeded the amount you paid. read more

I previously left a comment. the email provided is also invalid I was unable to get ahold of anyone at this business and you continue to charge my credit card. I love the location on wilshire but this location sucks. The staff is not friendly, and there is only a single spray booth so there are often waits 60 minutes long.. I don't see these same issues at the wilshire location. read more

HOW DARE YOU charge my debit card $80 a month since May when I went in ONE TIME for ONE SESSION before a photoshoot and SPECIFICALLY said I did NOT want a membership because I was leaving town for over a month immediately after that!!! i just discovered these charges now! Almost $500 in 6 months!!! INSANE. I am filing a claim with my bank as I type and I will NEVER step foot in there again. I NEVER wanted a membership and never was given any paperwork or receipts stating that I had signed up or agreed to pay for such. Terrible! read more

Beware, they are still abusing their right to charge monthly. This is NOT cool. They also make it quite difficult to cancel membership. I had to go down there twice and raise hell. I'm calling the better business bureau. Complaining on Yelp is one thing but, we cannot allow businesses to charge our cards without permission and get away with it.
