Tanning person made me wait outside the door for her convenience even tho' there was NO other client there: the door had a sign on it that said DO NOT KNOCK on the door!! She was curt and abrupt, wore a face mask my entire visit and was very strict about what I had to do in the studio even tho' I did a perfect prep, Worst of all, it was a VERY LOW quality tan; even Mystic tan was better!! I will NEVER go back to this spa!! It was for 2 tans ---won't waste my time and the mental energy it took to deal with that person!! Horrid experience!!!

Edit: as you can see by the response I received, they don't take kindly to feedback. I haven't in fact complained "all across" spavia's in Colorado. Ft Collins Spavia takes zero accountability.

If you have been looking for a stylist, like I have been for awhile, you should check this salon out. They do specialize in services for all ethnicities and gender fluid clients; including styles for curly hair, fine/thin hair, coloring, hair extensions, facials, nails, eye lashes and more. I got gel nails done by Salem once and several of them lifted and peeled the next day and I was able to go back and have those ones redone with no charge and with apologies from the manager. Owning up to mistakes (they happen everywhere) is important. That is the only instance that has happened with gel nails, so it was more about the application and is not their standard. Favorite Nail tech: BAILEY. She deserves her own 5 stars. she is good at her job, easy to talk to, made time to do a last minute polish change for me, and also doesn't mind if you read the whole time either. I smudged a nail an hour or so after my appt once (they felt dry but hey, mistakes happen like I said), and I sheepishly turned around and asked if Bailey could fix the one nail. Like a total rockstar she did, even making sure the color was right after I pulled the wrong one off the shelf. Bailey is the kind of tech you hope stays forever just so you can go see her for her services! Highly recommend, and be generous with your tips. One thing I think is helpful to know is their polish takes an hour to dry unless you buy Dazzle Dry, which is an extra $5 per service. (yes I did dazzle dry on that one nail that got smudged an hour later by my debit card, but debit cards and pretty rough surfaces.) So go ahead and budget dazzle dry in.

While we are not social with one another, I would consider both Stacy & Lindsay to be friends and they are both consummate professionals. As with any professional, it is their obligation to be honest and truthful in their recommendations to clients. Considering we are discussing appearance, it is sometimes difficult to hear what we need to hear, however I can count on them to be honest & strategic in their recommendations, even if it means they will not be performing a particular service because they do not believe the result will uphold their standards. The beauty industry is full of people who will perform any service just to make money and that is not how this company operates. They truly recommend and will only perform services which they truly believe the client will receive a valuable benefit from.

I had been seeing Stacy at the Greeley office for about a year. Unfortunately she's unable to do…read morethe eye area and she sent me to the Fort Collins office to see Lindsey. The only one able to do the area. I was very excited. When I got to the Fort Collins office it was closed even though it was only 3:50. Eventually the receptionist came and opened it up. She told me Lindsay would be along any moment and got me settled. When Lindsay finally arrived she was not at all pleasant. I felt like she didn't want to be there. I sat in the chair and she asked me what I was looking to have done. I told her I was there for filler in my eye troughs and my crow's feet and also in the vertical line between my eyebrows. She said no, I won't do the static lines. Only the troughs. Absolutely no explanation as to why. She then asked what I had done with Stacy. I moved my hands to my cheeks with a lifting action and said Stacey and I have been working on placing filler in areas that will give me a natural lift. Before I could finish what I was saying she cut me off and said oh that motion your doing on your face that means you just need to see a plastic surgeon. There's only so much we can do with filler. At this point the wind was out of my sails. I was extremely uncomfortable. Then I asked if the special on the filler was going to be applied. It was $150 off when I made the appointment a month and a half earlier. Lindsay yelled (no I'm not kidding she actually yelled) out of the room to the receptionist in the front of the office to ask. The reply was no. I asked why it wouldn't be applied to my visit and was told it just isn't a special. I then explained that it should be applied because it certainly wasn't my fault she was booked out that far. She just looked at me. So I said I'll have to think about all this and get back to you. Then I left. I was so disappointed. I had been waiting and saving for such a long time. And I rarely get to do much for myself. I still trusted Stacy though and was unaware of the lengths Lindsey would go to to cover her tracks. So when the time came for more filler. I called to make an appointment. Stacy was unavailable for the whole day and now I understand why. When she finally called at the end of the day she said that Lindsay had told her that I was not pleased with Stacy's work so she (Stacy) no longer wanted to work on me. What?! I tried to explain what really happened. And in her defense she did listen to my side. She then told me her schedule was full. I definitely got the impression she didn't want me to come back I decided that if Stacy actually had heard 4 months ago that I was not a happy client why didn't she contact me directly? She chose her employee's lies over what actually happened and now I'm choosing another clinic. I gave 2 stars because before the unprofessionalism that I experienced I had been absolutely pleased with Stacy's work. If you go to Northern Colorado Laser and Skin please do not go anywhere near Lindsay. I no longer feel like I was of any importance to Stacy. She obviously does not take the time to make sure that her clients are happy, with her work or anyone else in her clinics. I usually don't write bad reviews but I'm really shocked by this one. Like seriously, how does a paying client get the shaft over a miserable employee who clearly hates her job?
