After reading lots of mixed reviews about other hair removal places ( wax, sugar, etc...) and calling a few places with all my inquiries about the process, I was definitely headed to Thumbs! The great customer service could be experienced through the phone! All of my many questions were answered and Thumb made me feel really comfortable asking anything! I have to say that I normally groom my own private parts, so this was a first! I get there and am quickly greeted. Thumb explained everything to me before anything happened which put me at ease. I braced for shock at the thought ripping hairs, but it wasn't that painful at all. I was pleasantly surprised! We conversed about our kids the entire time and then it was over. It went pretty fast. Maybe a flinch or two in sensitive areas, but nothing like I expected or feared. She is very thorough. The place is spotless and very well organized. I will definitely visit again.

Updated Review: During my initial visit, I was seen by Abby…read more She was efficient, upbeat, and provided satisfactory service for my chin, though the results with my eyebrows did not fully meet my expectations. At that time, I rated the experience a three. Since then, I have been going to Shry, and she has completely changed my experience with European Wax. Shry takes care of my chin regularly, and most recently, in preparation for my vow renewal and wedding anniversary on September 28, she performed chin, upper lip, and chest waxing. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and true gift in her craft were evident, and I felt completely confident and cared for on such an important day. Because of Shry's exceptional skill and dedication, I am upgrading my rating to five stars. She is an outstanding waxer and a true asset to this location. For anyone booking, I highly recommend requesting Shry by name--you will not be disappointed.

I was advised that the…read moreBotox was on 'back order' when the PA finally got to me in the room and if that was known to me when I first checked in, I would have waited for it to come in. So, I was giving the alternative to try jeuveau. I should have known better because of how I was asking the PA questions and she was very skeptical and hesitant with her answers that I should not have done it. But I tried it anyway thinking maybe it could be better. Afterwards, I talked to my sister who stated that it sounded really weird that Botox, of all things, would be on "backorder" and that she felt that I was pretty much bamboozled by them trying to push a new product because of the almighty dollar. As soon as she said it, I felt the same!! I was also told this was going to work faster than even the Botox. And it has done absolutely nothing!! I was able to see results within hours from Botox but not with this stuff. Nothing!! I don't suggest it. I'm 50 and only do Botox for the crease between my eyes. So, I have lost out on $165 for something that was suggested by the PA with her not even really knowing the effects of it because she even said she hasn't used it and that one's on me. Lesson learned. 3 stars bc I seriously feel now that I was nothing but a simple sale and now I'm stuck for 3 months of not being able to actually get Botox. Needless to say, the crease between my eyes seems to be more pissed off at this point. Maria, medical assistant, is awesomeness though!!! So 5 STARS for her!!! But then again, she had to know there was no Botox too.... Hmmmm.
