I'd never had a Brazilian Wax before and someone I know suggested this place so I went on their…read morewebsite and got more information on them. I felt very confident about making an appointment for Brazilian wax and Vajacial. I did make it known to them that this was my first time having this process done. I was assigned to Malaysia... ABSOLUTELY PERFECT EXPERIENCE She was patient...fast...detailed and explained to me every step of the way on what I should expect. There was very little discomfort...no where near the pain I anticipated. She was very comforting and made it a very natural process without question...this is definitely my Spa if choice and she is the only person I will book appointments with...not to say that everyone else there isn't great at what they do.. but if it ain't broke don't fix it!! Absolutely love them and Malaysia is exceptional!

No ma'am. I asked her to remove it, as I've had many facials in the past, and goggles must be used as it is extremely dangerous for your eyes if they aren't. The receptionist answered my questions, although she never looked up from texting on her phone to do so. When I asked about the teacher discount, she said it was 10%. I said, really? Cuz the sign on your door says 20%. She then rang me up, and didn't give me the discount until I asked about it again. Never. Again.

Finally, one day I had enough and I called same day to ask, is there happen to be any type of availability. The hairstylist on the phone happened to have some free time and I was able to come in shortly after and receive a haircut. I was so pleased with my experience. She did exactly what I asked for and I did not find the price to be overwhelming. I enjoyed my experience having a friendly and fun conversation with my hairstylist without feeling like I had to talk too much or deal with impression management. There seem to be a lot of other women in the salon receiving various services, including eyebrow waxing. Overall, I will not be back there as I have moved away from the area, however, if I were living there, I would probably select this as my primary salon. Plus, it is nice that it is next to Aries Cheesecake and TakoSushi (lol). It is in a safe area and there is plenty of parking!

I debated leaving this review as I have had great experience with previous massages and facials- my…read moremost recent being in May. I went this past weekend for a massage and facial and left a bit dissapointed. My massage was great, even though I think it's absurd to pay extra for aromatherapy when that literally sets the tone and vibe for a massage. The masseuse did a wonderful job addressing my problem areas. On to my facial- the esthetician, Raleigh, was friendly. I scheduled the dermaplane facial. She didn't assess my skin before the facial, didn't ask about problem areas, didn't even tell me what she planned to do for my face. I let her know that I was interested the Oxygen facial and wanted her input for what I was trying to achieve for my skin- brightening and even texture, but said I'll let her tell me what my skin needs. Her only response was "this is a dermaplane facial". And that was it. After it started I asked if there was a heated blanket on the bed as it was cold. She checked and said there wasn't. That's it. She continually used a lukewarm, thin rag on my face through out the session. Afterwards, as I was getting up to my robe back on, I noticed Ordinary skin products on the counter. Not sure if this was used on my face but this is a dissapointment that they utilize these cheap products on anyone given how expensive their services are. When I walked out of the room, she showed me to my locker, said thank you and that was all. Nothing telling me about my skin or services as others had done in this very place. Overall this service alone has deterred me from coming back as I can get better services, better product elsewhere. It felt rushed and almost like she was there to do her job only, not to offer the customer experience one expects when coming to the Retreat.
